I have 2 adult children and 2 Teenagers, The pillow thing will forever be a struggle....unfortunately 😑 after the teens go to their room for the night I go and fix them (with a chop of course 😉) so when wake up early they look nice and it brings me joy!! BTW your home is beautiful!
I use a cable ties to attach the star and place something straight that you can hide behind the stems to keep it supported.
I TOTALLY hear you on hanging up the star🤣 this was the first year a bought a star for my tree and when I went to put it up I thought it would be this magical moment like in the movies but it was more like me shoving the star into the tree trying to get it to stay hahaha

crystal, this was so beautifully done. i was immediately drawn in at the introduction of the video with the music and decorations. i’m really getting into the spirit. thanksgiving, who? your videography and editing are wonderful. i also love how you incorporate the music and narrating as a nice balance. i just finished decorating for fall. it’s like 60 in connecticut. 😋
Hi Crystal, well... you have done it again...Your decorating talent never disappoints! Everything you have done just makes your home warm, cozy and very welcoming for the holidays! Amazed at how that collar on the office tree made such a difference. Just warmed up the room even more and seemed to just make the tree look finished. Beautiful!

I'm not a huge fan of flocked trees but I think you may have changed my mind. You made that tree look Good! The pops of red were placed in the right places. Excellent!! 👍

I use floral wire to help with holding the star on the tree top straight. It seems to give it the support it needs. This is beautiful...as always.

Turned out so great. It’s because of you I’m decorating our master bedroom. I had to buy new bed skirt and mattress covers. Since I was at Homegoods I got a buffalo check spread for our bed. My husband was surprised that I was decorating for Christmas in our bedroom. He didn’t seem as surprised as I thought he would be. But he doesn’t know I plan on putting a tree in there too. I love buffalo check so much and look forward to using that theme in the bedroom. Love both your treed you did today in this video. So lush. We had to get a new tree last year and we are really happy with our new one.

Tree toppers never work for me until I started using floral wire....game changer.

I always spend a day just decorating the tree, sometimes two days. Last year I put a snow flake on the top and it looked really pretty. I put the tree up and leave it undecorated so the branches naturally fall into place. Also I have two cats and this gives them time to get used to the fact that there is a tree in the living room. At least they don’t knock it over any more. Looks beautiful Crystal, love it!

Usually people decorate in early December.....but then came 2020....I swear Christmas is the only thing that can save 2020 now and my family usually decorates around December 8th, but this year we will be doing it on December 1st! I'm so excited and you did an amazing job decorating!

One thing you can do with your star.. stretch out the wire base then pull your top branch (es) through. It more stable. I use sone pipe cleaner or a wired branch to stabilize.
