Girlfriend, I have been wanting to decorate for Xmas, but my energy level has been so terrible since I had COVID, but I got halfway though your video and stopped it to go to the attic and retrieve a ton of my decor. It’s like four hours later and I’m back on here to finish watching your video and to say thank you for motivating my tushy, because my tree is up, and my mantle is decorated! (The tree isn’t decorated yet, but at least it’s up and my decor is down from the attic) I have DAYS worth of decorating to go, but it’s started!! Your home looks amazing!! Thanks again for the mojo this morning! :-)

Yes I know how you feel, I found out I was covid positive in early August. I still do not have the energy and stamina I had before. It does take a toll and I hope you are feeling better. Good for you to not let the residual fatigue negatively impact the joy of decorating for the holidays.

I’m deep cleaning this week and then decorating! I decorate early also for the same reason! We have three birthdays in December plus all the regular busy stuff (shopping, wrapping, etc) Decorating early is just a big help!

Lovely.....I decorate every room in my house i mixed vintage with modern and sometimes I decorate my friends homes for Christmas....and I made my own Santa hats chair covers years ago .

Just beautifull decor, your tree in the entrance is stunning, love what you have done, my tradition for the second year if i am able given the crazy ness at the moment is going away, first time hubby and i did it last year and really enjoyed it, so plan is to do the same fingers x we do self cattering as its easy, given i am a Coeliac, and eating places are generally closed on xmas day here in the UK , its so nice to watch decorate videos, something lovely to watch during this crazy time, xxx

Omg this video gave me all the warm feelings of Christmas, my family tradition is to bake all the cookies and nut roll and poppy seed rolls with my two boys and my mom. We also make three kinds of home made pierogies , that tradition started with my Gram and my mother in law. The two are now in heaven watching over my boys and myself keep the tradition alive. Christmas Eve I do the big dinner with both families come over and we do gifts after. Christmas is my favorite holiday. Thank you so much for sharing yours with us. I used to get a three day holiday for Thanksgiving, Weds Thu and Fri, and I would get all ready on Weds then on Friday after we had celebrated the meal everything got put out. I had a long fence along the road and had three strands of lights draped from pole to pole, it was so pretty. Small house so we'd cut a tree from the back canyon and do garlands and lights down the stair railing. That was about it. This house I've been lucky to get a day and a half off, and my daughter grew up and moved very far away so I haven't done much, though I have been trying to keep surfaces clear so I can have at least a little seasonal decor.
That sounds so pretty! It really takes days to prep to do a big decorating day.

My parents usually decorate a couple days after Thanksgiving. We go out, get a live tree, and hot chocolate like the first of the month. My grandmother however, who has a tree for every member of the family in all of her rooms, is starting to this month.

Im catholic. And we are encouraged to kind of wait until 1 week before the 25 to go all out. And our xmas isnt over until around the 2nd week of january. So i slowly decorate. But i do think decorating before december, lets you focus on the celebrations much better
It really does for me. Let's me be more in the moment for Thanksgiving and All the December birthdays and Christmas celebration. I am firmly a believer in doing what's best for you! Do what makes you happy!
I am Catholic, but there is no way I am waiting until December 18th to decorate. It’s November 10th and the decorating is about 60% done.

Hi Jessie, OMG not only you are capable of doing everything like painting, the pool, the pond etc...but your decor looks more than amazing. This Xmas because of covid the goverment decided that we can only celebrate with our immidiate family. It is so so sad. I am still going all out on decoration even if we will only be 3. ⛄⛄

This was so much fun. 5 trees, wow. I know you will put one in the loft. I got so many ideas. This year I decided to do 1 more tree in our bedroom. Probably a 4 ft pencil tree is all I have room for. I want a buffalo check theme for that room. Will be getting new comforter and sheets. All ornaments will have that theme too. I can’t wait. I did buy already red towels for the guest bathroom but didn’t think about red throw rugs. Better look for those too. Love how you styled the hutches. You have some great pieces for in there. I just finished doing my house ,took fall down sun-it's been up since august. You got to get a rotating tree stand! Your tree is so beautiful ! But to have it rotating as your coming down the staircase is exquiste!!! Happy holidays! I think this year we all need the cheesiness and memories of happier times.

I’m Mexican so we celebrate on Christmas Eve. We have a HUGE party, eat tons of tamales and food. We open our present after midnight and then Christmas morning we all end up at the same place for leftovers and it’s like party number 2. I also put up my trees and decor yesterday. I always do my decorating the first week of November 😊❤️ I love Christmas

Me and my friends made a tradition that every Christmas Eve we go skateboarding togheter, and on Christmas Day we spend it with our fmaily. So we spend one day all togheter like we got to parks, to restaurants, museums or just all hang out at one home and the next we spend it wil our families and like after chrismas we all meet up and just start showing off what we got for christmas

You did an amazing job decorating, I loved all the spaces, ur home looked super cozy and inviting. Our family Christmas tradition is us getting together on Christmas eve and spending the night over and eat, play games, catch up as a family and spend Christmas together. This includes parents, grandparents, siblings and our children 😍❤ mommy's house is the place to be for all our Christmas gatherings. It's really sad I'm going to be missing that this year due to covid 😭😩

Looks so beautiful, we don't see family as our families are too far away but we love our tradition of having a Christmas eve, eve big dinner, then snuggles with our 3 kiddies and a Christmas film on Christmas eve, then we get up whenever the kiddies wake up and open stocking upstairs, then we head downstairs for bacon butties and wayne and I have a coffee then we just sit back and video the kiddies opening their prezzies and take photos, then I cook Christmas Dinner whilst wayne helps the kiddies with opening toys and batteries etc, after dinner we just relax and spend the rest of the Christmas break in jammies and have video calls with family, it might not seem like a lot but its been our Christmas for the past 12 years... im so excited 🌲😍
