THIS RECIPE WORKS. I FOLLOWED EVERY INSTRUCTION AND INGREDIENTS TO THE T. I baked it for my parents a week back and today, I cut the same vanilla cake in 2 and added hersheys syrup and topped a layer with hersheys syrup. THANK YOU FOR THIS RECIPE.

I’ve tried so many recipes.. yet this turned out the best! I’ve also noticed that other recipes on the internet required more complexed items such as an electric beater and ingredients such as buttermilk.. which I cannot find easily. This recipe, however, uses simple ingredients and affordable items like a simple whisk. Thank you so much, the cake came out amazing!

Just baked this, alittle twist from my end. I added lemon zest to the eggs, and mixed the flour into 3/4 all purpose and 3/4 almond flour. Also just used 1/2 cup of sugar. Tastes great and super easy to make!
