If you want to, there are more sonic-ish games you could get there's Christmas nights into dreams, which isnt a sonic game but sonic is a playable character plus it was in sonic symphony. also Fighters mega mix, which doesn't have sonic, but Bean and Bark are unlockable characters. You dont have to get them, but i plan to get them for my collection.
Yes, the Dreamcast did have third-party games released after 2002. While official support for the Dreamcast was discontinued in 2001, independent developers and publishers continued to release games for the system well into the 2000s. These post-2002 releases are often referred to as unofficial or homebrew games, but they provided new content and experiences for fans of the Dreamcast console.
Game collecting can be seen as a waste of money, but at the end of the day it’s a long term profit that’ll gradually gain value over time hence why i collect video games
Yes, unfortunately, if you were a Sonic fan with a Dreamcast in 2004 and onwards, you would have missed out on some Sonic games that were released on other consoles like the GameCube, PlayStation, and Xbox. Some of the Sonic games released after the Dreamcast era include titles like Sonic Heroes, Sonic Riders, and Sonic Unleashed, among others. It can be disappointing to miss out on these games if you only had a Dreamcast at the time, but luckily, many Sonic games have been re-released on modern platforms, so you may still have a chance to experience them today. If you need recommendations or more information about Sonic games or consoles, feel free to ask!
Sonic R is definitely a great game, the level design is well thought out, you can play as different characters even medal counterparts of them, and there is good content, the only thing that takes getting use to is the controls
Sonic R and a few other extremely old sonics trigger core memories just seeing the boxart and they remind me that I may not be really old but I feel old as dirt.
The scary thing about saturn and/or sega cd games are that the past years games for those consoles has gotten prone to disc rot because the pressing quality of the discs were poor. If you are worried try to shine a flashlight through the disc, otherwise just take care of them.
You're not the only one that also does poor financial decisions, I also do collecting as well! All jokes aside, this was an impressive showcase video, I've always wondered what the inside of those Sonic games looks like!
4:06 that is my friend is a 2D artwork, the only reason I kniw because it's also used for the jp boxart of sonic blast (a.k.a. g sonic) Edit: the same thing with knuckles'
You brought these SEGA Saturn games because Nolan donated you 400 dollars for you to buy Knuckles' Chaotix. And when you brought Knuckles' Chaotix. You wanted to buy other Games. So you brought the Sonic SEGA Saturn Games after Knuckles' Chaotix?
I apologize for the confusion earlier. While the Dreamcast was officially discontinued in 2001, there were a few third-party games released for the console in 2003 and 2004. Here are some notable third-party Dreamcast games from that time period: 1. Trigger Heart Exelica (2003) 2. Under Defeat (2004) 3. Radirgy (2004) 4. Karous (2004) These games are known for their unique gameplay and have become sought after by collectors due to their limited release on the Dreamcast. If you're a fan of the Dreamcast or interested in exploring its library further, these titles might be worth checking out. Let me know if you need more information about any specific game!
Other than Sega Smash Pack, that's all there is for Sonic on Dreamcast as well I'm fairly certain. Sonic Adventure, Sonic Shuffle, and then Sonic Adventure 2
i couldve sworn i saw those renders of knuckles and robotnik before, those apparently come from sonic blast's japanese boxart but for some reason, robotnik's legs are cut off in there
I found Sonic 3D Blast for PC at a flea market back in 2010 and that was how I experienced 3D Blast for the first time. It's interesting because it takes assets from both the Genesis and Saturn versions so the graphics are better than the Genesis but not quite as good as the Saturn's and the music is from the Saturn version. The special stages are more like the Saturn version but use the Genesis special stage sprites instead of the 3D models. Sonic R on the Saturn is pure ass but the PC port (which was used as the rom in Sonic Gems Collection) is pretty good but the game still plays no different other than being more smooth. I've always liked Sonic Jam because of Sonic World, it's basically a prototype Sonic Adventure and I wished it was preserved by putting it in a modern release like a new Sonic Adventure release or even put in Sonic Origins.
Sonic 3D Blast is the Genesis version but the soundtrack is even better Jam is pretty much a definitive way to play sonic 1,2,3 and knuckles, and also a cool 3d world Sonic R is a fun, yet clunky racing game The issue with all of them is how expensive they are, you are a lucky man to have all 3 (or nolan is just rich as hell)
ik 3d blast isn’t the most popular sonic game but i loved playing it back on the genesis, yes its just just there but i think its a sorta underrated side sonic game
I love game collecting, but buying all 3 of these games is definitely out of my budget, and since I already have a Sega Saturn I just burned the games on blank CD-R’s so I could at least play them. I really hate when I have to burn games, but I can’t afford 3 games worth over 500 bucks.
in these days i'm playing sonic games and i'm also playing sonic3d blast for the pc that it's for the genesis collection for pc which i bought on steam and i'm having fun.
Those renders of Knuckles and Eggman in the 3-D Blast manual are from the Japanese box art for G Sonic (known here in the states as Sonic Blast). Also, can you get all of the Sonic Game Gear games?
How is Sonic jam not one of the best games and not good of games? Jam is one of the best collections Sonic world and customizable options for the classics and a museum mode how?
Saturn 3D Blast has been a guilty pleasure game for me, one I admittedly play almost annually. That soundtrack's just so good!

8:09 fun fact about that box art: it’s the same box art as the game com version of sonic jam. also, go for the entire sonic dreamcast library next
Sonic R and a few other extremely old sonics trigger core memories just seeing the boxart and they remind me that I may not be really old but I feel old as dirt.

WOW I LOVE THE SATURN SOUNDTRACK SO MUCH FOR 3D BLAST !
New video idea:
I went BANKRUPT!!!
(Also we have each other friended on Switch :)
You inspire me to do the same thing tbh. Stuff like this is so dope. Saturn era Sonic is so underrated and has missed potential
yeah a bunch of manuals I've seen with a notes section at the end, off the top of my head stuff like Crash Bandicoot 2 etc
My favorite has to be Sonic Jam
The Saturn and Genesis box art for 3D Blast actually use the same model. Though I will agree that the Saturn box art looks cooler

Sad we didn't see more games on this console. Also sonic R is a hidden gem.
Is sonic R the thing form you communety post?: your never gona quess what i just got!
Sonic R’s original box art was changed because it spoiled that Metal Sonic was in the game
But all three games are mainline. 3D Blast being the worst. Jam and R are great games and are technically the first mainline 3D entries in the series.
I love game collecting, but buying all 3 of these games is definitely out of my budget, and since I already have a Sega Saturn I just burned the games on blank CD-R’s so I could at least play them. I really hate when I have to burn games, but I can’t afford 3 games worth over 500 bucks.
