Great idea on spacing the air conditioning radiator out. Man - that debris was choking the air flow for sure. Your ideas are always well researched and thought out. And like you said at the beginning of your video, thank you to our hard working farmers! We sure don’t thank them enough.

Your solution is spot-on the radiator spacing. One suggestion for further improvement would be to install a thin strip of removable mesh over the two sides openings you have created so that debris won't get sucked into the gap. Good luck!

I appreciate it Gene, that’s in the works already!

That’s a great video sir! I’ve got a 5010 with the same problem. How has this fix held up for you?

I got a newer 2665 mahindra and we tinted the windows with 10% ceramic. That made a world of difference on cooling the cab out. We are located in Louisiana and Mississippi.

I’m having the same issue with my Mahindra. Did this end up being a long term solution for you? Thanks a ton for the video!

Seems to be so far but it hasn’t been through a complete southern humid summer yet but runs consistently cooler never getting over 1/2. Hope it helps you and thanks for watching!

@@bdradley1 it does help - thanks again! Gonna try that same thing tomorrow! Had to stop bush hogging today after about 4 hours because the engine kept getting hotter. But even before that, I had the same issue as you with the AC heating things up.

@@padave29 yep I was in same place last year! You will be amazed at how much debris is in between the 2 radiators. Get a spray can of coil cleaner at Home Depot, should be in air filter or similar area and after washing off the bulk, then spray that to foam out all of the fine particles caked in there. Then keep a dryer lint brush, like 2 inch diameter and like 2 1/2 feet long, near by and you can just run it between the two rads after every major bush hogging to knock bulk out and do a coil cleaner annually!

Do you remember the thread and bolt size??

I don’t remember I’m sorry. I just took the stock bolt to hardware store, found a one inch spacer and added extra for the threads . Hope that helps and thx for watching! Dave
