I want to thank you so much! We own a Mahindra 1626 and we love it. But over the last couple weeks it’s not been starting. I bypassed a couple of your suggestions, ordered new glow plugs and installed them per your recommendation. Our tractor is now starting like brand new again! Bless you for the video.
Hey thank you so much !!! Ive been working on my 2013 Mahindra 3016 and this is the first problem ive ever had since bought new, the last couple days it would crank and put out black smoke, Ive been going through every thing electrical and nothing it would try to start but would not. so I got on TH-cam and you was the first Video I got on thank you so much sure enough I went out and easy tighten the nuts like you said first I tried the tester and the light came on and went off but I snugged the nuts down and she fired right up thank you so very much thats when I Subscribed to your channel you save my butt and probably saved me a ton of money .
This is happening to my 1626 shuttle shift. It's turning over letting smoke nothing. Watched this she fired up as soon as I cleaned up plate between glow plugs and lightly tightened back up keeping aluminum plate in mind. Thanks helped me in a pinch. First couple cold mornings in Arkansas came in November unusually almost for us, but needed tractor and this helped thank you so much!
Thank you thank you!! I did what you said and didn't have any light so I unplugged the plug from the bar and ther was corrosion on bar. I wire brushed it then plugged it back on and then test light worked. Started right up in 20 deg weather. Thanks again!
Thank you very much for your video , it was helpful in regards to what is causing the glow plugs in my 1526 not to heat up. In my case am getting no fire through the wire going to the glow plugs. On my way out the door to check the connections on the glow plug control box. Your video is more helpful than all the others that I have sat through.
Thanks for the video Pawpaw!! We recently had night time temps in the teens and 20's in Brookside Village, Tx. so I wanted to make sure and run the tractor to keep the battery charged. Out of the blue, all it would do is spew blue diesel smoke. I finally got it started, but sounded real nasty in doing so. Then I watched your video, tested the forward glow plug and no power. I lightly tightened them and wiggled connections and bam, started right up!! Would have been a pain to move it and get it on the trailer without power!! Thank you Sir!! Liked and Subbed... Mine is a 2018 1626.
Glad to be of help my friend. If you come across other issues with this tractor that I should be aware of please advise. Thanks for the Sub and God Bless!
I'm glad you mentioned about the washers. I was thinking the same thing. Putting a washer on should help avoid it spreading out when you tighten it. Good post!
Morning bud , I was wondering.. sometimes I have a problem cranking on a cold morning , any test for not wanting to get out of a warm BED ? 😂…….. good video though !
I believe you just fixed my 1526, thank you for your knowledge and time to put this video online, much appreciated!
Glad to be of help. Thanks for the comment.

Never know what may happen in the future.

I have a 1626. I replaced the bar and controller box but i still have no power to the plug at the bar. Any suggestions?
I don't but please update us on what you find out so it will help others in the future. Thank you!
I was thinking about getting a 1626 but the electronic governor was the deal breaker.
Ever tractor I looked at had something I didn't like about them, but I've been happy with this one so far.
You got your tires weighted up
I just run air no water.
Glow plug controller relay also $150
I figured it was pricy.
Boo just priced a mahindra glow plug 150 bucks ✨️ 😍 one plug
You can get off brand cheaper than that.
@@papawsplace hope zo bro
Do you like your 1626?
I love it!
If your tractor is still under warranty, let the dealer fix it. It is ashamed that you have to have this problem with such a new tractor.
I agree, BUT it would cost me more money and time to take it to the dealer for something this simple to fix. I'm 35 miles from the dealer.
