WindMule Acres
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 9 ธ.ค. 2011
We will be developing an old farmers field into our interpretation of a modern farm with an old time twist!. We will be adding fencing, building a barn, building a shop, getting an antique windmill and have it fully operational! We have mules as well, and hoping to add some draft horses and some horse drawn equipment in the future so we can relive some of what our ancestors went through when they were working the land before the age of all the modern computers and Iphones.
It is really relaxing just to step away from the rat race that we are all in and just slow down to smell and hear all of the wonderful sounds of nature. I think we all could use a little farm life in us! Its going to be a fun journey and we are glad you have decided to follow us!

Has Maximus grown bigger than Titus? I felt like that. I must admit they both grew bigger and acquired good health. Credit goes to you entirely.
Thank you I appreciate it. Max has definetely gotten bigger and is very close in size to Titus. I don't think he is bigger quite yet but maybe soon
Thought u had forgot about us. The update is amazing on the boys. Looks to be well with all. God bless
@@shellyphillis5238 I didn’t for got about you and I appreciate you. I have been dealing with the passing of my father so I took a little time off. Thank you again for
@@bdradley1sorry for your loss. God bring u comfort
The babies look soooo nice! Is Titus changing colors or is that his winter coat? No more cowlick. I would love to touch them. 😊 And the girls! Stunning with all the personality they can manage. The four of them have become just what you wanted! I'm really happy that you have them and even happier that they have you! All the best to you always...City Girl
@@tangormley city girl, yes Titus is getting his thick winter coat and he is not getting darker, probably just the dirty red clay staining making him appear that way. They would love some pets from you. Jean and Grace can’t get enough and will let you rub them all day, max quickly realizing that rubs feel really good. Thank you
Wow, the boys sure have grown. They look great and healthy. I guess I'm going to have to stick around for a couple of years to see Jean and Grace teach them how to drive, haha. Jean gave me a good laugh trying to trick you into rescuing her. Other than the weather, it looks like all is going well. Thanks for the update, take care.
thank you lbird. They are growing for sure and yes the girls are real comedians!
❤ Hi from chilly Southwest, Fl. So nice to you. Wow, have the boy's grown. Just since the ferrier video I can see the difference. Grace n Jean have done a great job stepping up filling the mom role. Truly a beautiful site. You have done an amazing job with all four of them. Well, I could go on n on. Your farm is looking beautiful even with the heavy rain, it's always so neat n clean, I love seeing that. So, until the next video. Stay safe and God Bless.
thank you as always yvonne!
They are looking great. I am sure you are familiar with Fletcher farms saving many of the Amish cast offs, they take in the abused and left to die, or ship to Mexico.
thank you marion, yes I am familiar with Fletcher. If i am not mistaken the foal that they have came from the same bunch as mine.
Love the Belgians they're gonna end up great boys under your care. A note on Coggins for those who don't know. Coggins is the test, named after the doc who invented it, for equine infectious anemia, which is a nasty virus. It's needed to cross state lines. Great video!
thank you!
It will be a pleasure to follow them growing up. It is so encouraging that you care for them and give them the best care possible.
thank you Irene!
90 days WoW😮 Dirty Boy 1 and 2 are going to be Massive 😂 A little more Manners at the gate 😁 Enjoy the Day Brother 🤙
little by little we are getting there brother. I agree I think they are going to be big, I can't wait. Have a great one!
The colts have certainly grown! They’re more trusting, too.
Yes they are getting there! Thx
Boys are lookin good, girls too. I have strong opinions on the morality of commercial horse breeders/flippers/traders but I’ll keep it clean out of respect for your channel. I’m happy your breeding your mares.
lol I have just as strong opinions as you and have even made videos of them years ago but now, like you, I keep those comments to myself to cut down on the comments of folks thinking I ma too harsh on them.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Really enjoy all of your content
Part #2 arrrrr!! Not to exclude you...ya cut a fine figure up there on your bench seat! So I have one question. Why do the girls have to wear those (I think they call them) blinkers? They were twisting and turning their heads in every direction they could to see (another smile from me).
@@tangormley thank you for the comment! 😉 I took a snapshot of video and going to frame it to put up in bath house! As far as the girls wearing blinders, it keeps distractions down and makes them focus out front. Jean still had her freshness and was trying to rub her bridle off on Grace which is why they were so heavy in head movement. Watch end of video and they are just slow and steady. Have a great Turkey day and eat waayyyyyy tooo much!!!
Driving a good team certainly belongs to best Thanksgiving experiences. Happy Thanksgiving ( easy on the good stuff, though). We all tend to eat too much on this day.
@@klauskarbaumer6302 thank you Klaus. I may not be too easy on the good stuff though 😂!
Those are the ones in Holmes co Ohio last year. Correct? We were up there and forgot to look them up.

The girls are beautiful. Really. Their personalities shine through and I always smile while watching them. They almost, dare I say it, looked like they were enjoying themselves?! The wagon...love it! Ya done good. The school children will be thrilled to see your ensemble!
#3 I've been getting ready for the big day. Thanksgiving might be my favorite. Made mashed potato rolls yesterday. Blueberry pound cake and ice cream today. Tomorrow one of the many turkeys that did not receive a pardon, stuffing, sweet potato pudding, greens, and such. I hope you have a great holiday, surrounded by those who love you! Enjoy! Among the things for which I am thankful, I include you and the kids. Thank you for sharing your life with them. I am sure that with all you have to do, sharing must be a huge amount of work. I appreciate it greatly and enjoy it more than I can say. Please give the babies and the girls hugs and a special treat from Aunt City Girl. And btw...my money is on you for finding that squeak 😊
Missing part 2
@@tangormley the kids were super excited! You can hear them in video background yelling. The girls settle down after they get the “fresh” off them, meaning the excitement of being out. Once that spunk wears off they settle right in to the grove. You may have to start emailing me the comments, email in description!

I felt as if I was right in there with Max! Really great video! Max's feet looked FANtastic. I loved the way he tested the ground after his first foot was done...so funny and cute. I was holding my breath with Jean. I hope she wasn't in pain. They seem to really get close to the crack. Did they make her shoes there? And btw, didn't you used to have something the horses went into to give them stability while the farrier works on them? Idk, maybe I dreamed it 🤔. But I love, love, love seeing them. You are a wonderful father! Enjoy your holiday...eat too much and get some "you" time. All the best, always...City Girl.
@@tangormley thank you city girl I always appreciate your comments! Jean was in no pain at all and she and Grace are both doing fine, as well as Max and Titus. As far as the stocks, they belonged to the boarder that had his 3 mares there for the summer. Posey just absolutely would not give you her feet so had to be in stocks. He came and got them the day before as he needed them at his place 2 1/2 hours south. Jean was just tired and being messed with and had enough, trims are much faster obviously and that’s what she’s used to. Have a beautiful Turkey Day! Dave
Where can I buy a machine like this?
@@FranciscoZuniga-l6j they are readily available in Amish communities of Ohio and Pennsylvania. The ones you find on marketplace and not complete and just yard art. If I had a direct contact I would pass it on but you just have to beat the streets and go to Amish auctions. Thx for watching.
Good job. The boys are just nervous. Hope the shoes are ok Just wish the Farrier would talk more to the horses It work and keeps them distracted . Stay Safe Brother
@@andrewthornton1945 thx brother have a great rest of weekend!
Great content. Your new drafts did real well for there first trim. Really liked how your farrier took his time and did not rush the process. Many times if they get to rough the horse never forgets and it becomes a battle every time they need a trim. Really enjoy how well you care for your horses.
