I also have the Roomba 695. Have had no problem with it. Agree the bin could be bigger. It's name is Rosie...Rosie Roomba. Not very original but we like it. I call her "Ro" for short. Loved your review. Thanks!
I love my Roborock S5. I spent the extra money for the mapping and it's totally worth it. Also mine tends to avoid people I walk with in a few feet and it slows down and turns. O and I named her Rosie. I don't mind emptying out the bin easier then vacuuming. I don't mind taking it upstairs but someday I will get a 2nd one I think. I love it and it was worth the cost though I did get it cheaper right before Christmas.
I have the old 630 and all the problems so you are talking about I have the same with mine. The good thing is i bought it used for $100, the only difference is you have wifi and you can put a sedule in it, i have a bigger dust compartment than yours. I don't know if they fix it but the stupid thing is it blow dust back out of the dust compartment when the device is spinning. They put the air outlet there.
I can buy this model at 50% discount, but after watching your video (and reading the comments below that more or less tell the same) I decided not to buy this one. Have to check out the Roborock S5
Do NOT buy a robot that does not map the floor. I made the same mistake about 1 year ago, I thought that iRobot was the veterans of this segment and that I couldn't go wrong buying one of their products. Went for a Roomba 895 which was on black friday sales for around $ 750. It behaves identically to yours. In the beginning I was really happy about it, but after watching videos of Roborock S50 I realized that I had made a big mistake. Ended up giving away Roomba almost for free and bought a Roborock S50 for $ 500 instead. Although it is cheaper, it is top of the line and way in front of the roomba in every way, and then some. If I didn't know better, I would have thought they were 20 years apart. Watching a Roomba navigate is like watching a close relative blindfolded with Alzheimer's, it hurts.
Have to say, the more I use my Roomba 695 the more I'm inclined to agree. Without the mapping features this thing cleans "by average" which is not how most people want their houses cleaned. I definitely wouldn't mind getting my hands on some other models to test and compare. Thanks for watching!
Roborock s5 has far better navigation features. The virtual wall on the Roborock s5 is app controlled doesn't need a tape or any physical device. I had roombha before which needs a physical device or tape. Roborock has laser navigation. The point it Roborock s5 is a much better deal !!
Did u just say knockoff as u scroll past a Roborock? Wow... Had u done your research you would’ve known Roborock S5 is much better than the Roomba you’ve just bought. Many robots uses a different technology than Roomba, why would u say they’re knockoff? That’s a purely ignorant comment to support a “pioneer” company. So what if iRobot is the first to produce smart robots? Does it always mean it’ll be the best? Absolutely not. It’s a very informative video. I’m just commenting on a statement made, not the whole video. Don’t get me wrong, I really like this video :)
*I run the m6 daily, and my floors look awesome🌼 **allabout.wiki/Roborock-Robotic** I wet mop 2 days and dry sweep the rest of the days. When I first got it, I used the included disposable pads. I didn't like them--the dry pad has no depth so if it picks up a chunk of something, like dry cat food, then it pushes it around or drags it around the floor. The wet pad wasn't very absorbent so left streaks and wheel marks.*

I love my 695! I had a 694 and they are great.

You have to put the dock against a wall
I have (this is Scott) and that still doesn't help at times
