A reminder that had Kenny not swiped the radio from clem and turned himself over that beatdown he received EASILY could have been hers. Also if you wind up putting Clem in the hostage scenario, Kenny will immediately surrender himself when clem is threatened by Carver. Not too mention Kenny condemns himself to pure isolation and certain death with nothing but the clothes on his back just so Clem and AJ can live a secure life in Wellington. And then if you insist on staying with him, Kenny knowing hes done for in the season 3 flashback will use his crippled body as bait so clem and AJ can escape. Compare that to Jane who does.... what exactly? No actually im being serious, I cant remember a SINGLE selfless thing she actually accomplishes. At best she leads clem and rebecca out of the horde after having to be guilted into it, and even then its more like shes just letting them follow her more than actually helping. she comes back and helps the group from the russians... that she instigated an unnecessary conflict with in the first place. She makes the most pathetically half hearted attempt at helping sarah, having completely written her off as deadweight She takes the baby with her after the truck crashes... and then immediately uses it as a ploy to mentally break a traumatized and emotionally taxed old man.

I honestly believe with my whole heart that if Lee was alive, him and Jane would’ve hated the living hell out of each other. People don’t believe me because technically Lee and Clem are the same person because your controlling them, but Jane doesn’t like the person Clem is, she only likes that she’s a kid that somehow survived. Kenny is 10x better than Jane, Clem knows who Kenny is, Kenny knows who Clem is. Jane doesn't know or care about you.
I persoanlly believe that despite Lee and Clementine being player controlled depending on the season they still have defining chracteristics. Like how despite however way you play Lee at his core he's a wise leader and protector thats ready to fight for his people however way he has to even if he may not personally like them. Lee wouldn't have liked Jane because she's too selfish and ready to abandon anyone at a moments notice while Jane woulda viewed Lee as a liablity for being loyal to his group. As for Kenny I think him and Lee woulda butted heads even more than in season 1 had you didn't side with him in the meat locker. I always noticed that Kenny was way nicer to Clementine should you not always agree with him than he was to Lee which I believe is due to him viewing her as a surrogate niece of sorts unlike Lee who is either a brother from another mother, is indifferent towards, or someone he just straight up hates depending on how you are towards him. I still think him and Lee would stick together no matter what unless Kenny tries to straight up murder him which even unstable season 2 Kenny wouldn't do to Lee like he woulda Jane as she pretended to kill a baby and theres more opportunity for him to either love Lee like a brother or hate his guts than there would be playing as Clementine especailly since he admits he respects and misses Lee no matter how their relationship was in season 1 so it opens the gate to either build upon that to make them even stronger or crumble that all to pieces
Lee’s opinion of Jane would most likely be chosen by the player. Lee doesn’t have much defined personality, and is largely a player insert, so his thoughts and feelings are left vague a vast majority of the time. But you are correct on your assessment of Jane’s character. Season 2 in general I feel is about how the group doesn’t really see Clementine. They rely on her to bail them out of terrible situations because they’re a ragtag group of incompetents, but when the danger’s passed they don’t see or hear anything she has to say. She begs, pleads, shouts to just be listened to so often, but no one in the group ever actually listens to her. Kenny latched onto Clementine because she’s the last reminder of the time he had with his family, Jane latches onto Clementine because she sees her as a replacement for her sister, yet both of them don’t actually see or hear her until she decides enough is enough and leaves. Season 2 is ultimately about how helpless Clementine is as a child. The lack of respect, the lack of agency. How you just have to sit and watch as a bunch of adults get each other killed because they’re all too mentally unstable to think rationally for themselves, and too stupid to listen to good advice just because it came from the mouth of a child.

What i hated the most about jane is how much of a hypocrite she claims that she protect clem and and how she likes her and would go back for her, but she always bails as soon as things get hard, she was never fit to take care of aj or clem. If you side with jane over kenny this only proves that further she finds out shes pregnant and takes her own life leaving clem alone with aj , kenny may have been a broken wreck but he was still a father figure to clem teaching her how to drive and everything
Kenny over Jane. With Kenny, at least i know he's got my back. He is a broken man but at the same time, he is a family man and his loyalty is not something that you can find easily in an apocalyptic world where everyone looks out for themself. With Jane, she has always been a lone wolf. Living like Jane without anyone to rely on is ultimately what causes her death. A pregnant Jane has no one to take care of her (since Clem is already carrying the burden of taking care of AJ) and thus committed suicide.
If you haven't watched the videos yet or played games then don't read this I agree with you, Kenny never turned his back on Lee even after he got bit. And after Lee had his arm cut off, Kenny was hoping that worked too. And in two different situations we got to see what Kenny tried to do. One scene with Christy. And one scene with Bin.
After letting Kenny live and going with him to Wellington, he offers to stay behind so that Clem and AJ can go to Wellington. And if you stick with Kenny instead, he sacrifices himself to save Clem and AJ from the walkers. Kenny is a family man like you said, and will help Clem and AJ no matter what
@@BulbaWhat98 Jane just wants Clem as a companion so that she does not feel lonely and has someone to talk to. Thats it. She left AJ unattended in a car and did not care about the wellbeing of the baby.

Proved it in all of his S2 endings Jane will sacrifice herself so she won’t have to suffer the consequences of her actions, leaving a Baby & a Child behind to fend for themselves Kenny said it best “You don’t just end it because it’s hard. You stick it out & help the folks you care about”
Jane was straight up evil. Took me less than a nanosecond to side with Kenny. Like someone else said, it would've been better to have Molly in her spot. That would've made the choices a little tougher since we had history with Molly, and she had a softer side to her.
But even so molly wouldn't have the same selfish motives that jane had, nor would she endanger a child or fight kenny, atleast not fight him unless it's under different circumstances
@@marquviousgreen4674 That’s true. Molly may have been short and blunt with folks, but it was merely a defense from the cruel ppl she encountered. She saved Luke when being put in gun point by one of Carver's men, She saved Kenny from the last Russian thug who he had trouble shooting and overall, she was willing to go out of her way to get Arvo's stash of medicine just to keep Rebecca alive.
The funny thing is that the first time I played it I actually shot Kenny! And when I found out that Jane hid AJ in the frozen car, I was Like "Ah heck nahhhh" and immediately restarted the episode and when I got to the end, I was very happy with myself for letting Kenny stab her

jane implies she left her sister behind jane is the reason Arvo's friend's ambush the group If you take from the bag clem just takes the pain meds and gives the bag back and Jane takes it
She doesn't imply it, she straight up says that she told her sister "fine, die then." (not those exact words but the euivilent) and jamp the roof, leaving her to get mauled just because her sister was too scared to carry on. She was just dragging the child everywhere (her own words) instead of helping the girl emotionally and being a good mentor in a scary situation just like Lee was for Clem.
@@Rivər I haven't played s2 in awhile. I was thinking about her implication when she convinced you to leave Sarah. IIRC when she tried to convince Rebecca to leave her baby behind
@@Rivər Exactly. Jane claims she "gave her what she wanted" when talking about leaving her sister. She could have been a better mentor and gave support. But she chose to give up on her. Now since we don't know the entire relationship, there is some level of assumption. But judging how she treated both Sarah, and A.J proves to me she is a very selfish person at her core. She is more than willing to toy with people's lives or abandon them if they are seen as a weight on her. Worse part is Jane is horrible in tough situations. Even Luke noticed it.
You kind of forgot the fact that she mainly returns because she realized she may have gotten pregnant with Luke’s baby then kills herself when she confirms it. Kenny lasts two whole years longer than Jane and made almost as big an impact as Christa did on Clementine during his time with her.
Jane plans is stupid she literally endagered two children if Kenny was truly unhinged and we all knew he was she is leading two kids into a dangerous situation imcluding herself if kenny hurt them in the state she put him in
Bro Jane is so trash. Kenny has went through more than she coulda imagined. Lost his wife and son in the same breath. Lost sarita then he thought he lost aj too. Like bro Kenny was at a vulnerable time and she chose to prey on that
I hated that her and Luke screwed like right after Luke’s friend of 20 years died. Like what?? Nick is dead and you still trying to get laid? With JANE?
@@mysteryace2129 So it's "vulnerability" for giving Luke some happiness?.. Dude lost his friends and Jane just probably wanted to cheer him up when they talked in duty. She wants Clem alongside her so that she would not feel lonely. Thats it. But AJ? She left him in a car and did not even care about the well-being of the baby.
Let’s not forget if you side with Jane over Kenny, she Offs herself by hanging after finding out she’s pregnant. Leaving Clementine and AJ on their own. She’s gonna be dead in both endings just one takes longer than the other. So side with Kenny because he’s the GOAT alongside Lee in Telltale TWD series.
Bruh…I get Kenny isn’t a fucking saint, but he is not this wild animal the game kept trying to paint him as. I have a little sister that I love to death. If Jane walked back from a freezing blizzard WITHOUT my baby sister and no explanation for what happened, I am fucking seeing red. I don’t blame Kenny at all for her possibly getting a child killed.
Jane leaving her sister and Sarah behind just shows she doesn't believe in protecting the weak. Who's to say if AJ didn't develop some sort of illness or disability, she would try to coerce Clem into leaving even him behind? She already views the weak as not worth keeping around, and decides for herself to purposely leave someone for dead.
Jane would agree with Crawfort in S1 as they weeded out those they deemed were weak. Molly hated crawfort and what they stood for. I wish we had Molly this season instead of Jane.
@@GamingWithJazz Molly would've been way better. I always saw Jane as a bargain bin Molly, but that's doing a disservice to her lol. Molly would've never left her sister behind.
She is a socipath, everything abt her backstory is crazy, she said she was constantly pranking her sister & that she was drinking alcohol as a kid & almost killed herself eating glass.
oh it gets worse than that, when she found out being preggers with Luke's child, she IMMEDIATELY unalived herself to then become a walker like she had NO hesitation and just ended it all at the flick of a wrist, undoing all this bs talk about her philosophical survival of the fittest nonsense and leaving both clem and AJ alone to fend for themselves
That part really pissed me off about her. It shows she was even more selfish. She wasn’t even thinking about the possibility of having a baby when she messed around with Luke and when the consequences came about she decides to end herself and abandon two kids who needed her. I know Kenny can go ballistic but at least he won’t abandon people and he always puts the kids safety first.
@@crazyguy_1233 See I can't even hate her for that situation. Worst case scenario her and the baby dies. Maybe the baby dies and she doesn't or her and the baby live. @@Hazehyuga88honestly, as much as I hate Jane… in the scenario in which they were… the most selfless/best option (for Clem) was to kill herself because there is too much risk to give birth because if she died and the baby lived… she just fucked over Clem way more… they both live and now have to feed 2 mouths instead of 1, baby dies and Jane lives and it’s unnecessary mess and pain and whatnot… so in the zombie apocalypse scenario it makes sense why she killer herself.
@@Hazehyuga88 in a normal scenario I would have loved for the baby to live cause Luke would've been a great dad. I loved Luke but in the scenario where it is Just Clem and Jane as the only figures able to do anything for themselves and have to defend an entire compound while Jane is pregnant? Absolutely not. And if Jane were to die soon after childbirth like Rebecca, Clementine is theoretically screwed. She would have to take care of TWO babies at just what? 12? 13? She would have been so much more desperate to join Richmond if she even made it to that point at all and when AJ got took from her, Jane's baby would have been taken too. Meaning she'd have had to raise two kids on her own and that's the best outcome, cause it's unrealistic there's no way Clem would have made it as far as she did if she had to care for loud ass crying babies with mouths to while they were on their own. Jane did the best thing to avoid any what if situations and left Clem with AJ who she knew she'd be able to handle.
People who side with Jane are just as flawed. Excusing her by saying Kenny is 'unhinged'. Purposefully going out of your way to make someone unhinged, which she did to Kenny, doesn't make her right. It just shows how questionable she is, and shouldn't be around others, let alone kids and babies.
Kate from A New Frontier? I mean… Kate’s bad (trying to ruin a pair of brothers’ relationship is an easy way to get on my shit list), but is she worse than Jane? No, I wouldn’t say so. Kate at least has semi likable qualities here and there, and I did ultimately agree with her in episode 5’s final choice. Jane however was just an unlikable, selfish bitch the entire season. I’m a guy who saves Ben and Sarah every playthrough, so Jane, who not only abandoned her flesh and blood sister (even worse than Kate getting between David and Javier), but tried to convince Clementine to leave Sarah twice is probably my least favorite character in the entire series.
@@Hewasnumber1 , Kate also should've married Javi instead of David since it's clear that Javi is more like Lee, and David is more like Larry or Larry's daughter, but it's very obvious that David was never a perfect match for her like Javi is.
@@RoronoaZoro-ur6hr First, Kate didn’t know Javi before she married David. Second, why are you comparing characters who are nothing alike? Javi and Lee and completely different, and David is nothing like Larry whatsoever.
I wish the group had Molly. As we can see, Molly did everything she could for her sister until she couldn't anymore. Jane straight up left her sister to die because her sister was "baggage"
What i dislike about Jane is her posing herself as tough one-girl-army only to give up after s2 and leave Clem with all the problems when graciously suiciding herself
It’s because she knew clementine wouldn’t be able to manage taking care of two baby’s if she died giving birth to it like Rebecca we all saw in season 3 she struggled with just Aj until she was forced to join the new frontier. And with death turning anything that dies into a walker abortion wasn’t an option because it would just turn and kill Jane from the inside anyway. With no safe way to deliver it this was the best way to lessen clementines burdens.
It's funny how any saving grace of her character was immediately wiped when she took herself out. If the writers wanted to still make her sympathetic, they fumbled it with that choice.
If u let kenney kill her u have another option to shoot him afterwards. I will always be pissed that they didn't give us the option to shoot Jane when we find out AJ is alive
I think the issue with Jane is that the decision just. Isn’t built up enough to make you want to choose her, in most situations. Jane doesn’t work when putting her against Kenny because 1) It’s Kenny, most people would choose him just for that, and 2) Her relationship with Clem always felt so shallow, at least to me. They tried to do a Big Sister, Little Sister thing with Clem, but it just didn’t work in my eyes. It also doesn’t help that even if you do choose her, she ends up dead anyways and leaves the baby she faked the death of and Clem all alone. It feels like Jane was haphazardly tossed into the scenario, when someone like Luke would have worked much better. It also doesn’t help that Jane’s character is pretty unlikable when you look at her actions - leaving a baby out in the cold to prove a point, driving an already emotionally unstable man over the edge by endangering a baby (which, I don’t blame Kenny for reacting that way, it’s a really stupid thing to do), and then when she ends up pregnant, she just. Gives up. It leaves her character feeling flat and unlikable, even if she can be interesting when done right! Kenny is definitely not perfect, but Jane doesn’t do herself any favors. I think Luke would have been an infinitely better substitute in Jane’s position. They were already building him up to be both likable and a Big Brother type of archetype, I dunno why they just cut it off so quickly.
Don't forget she also asked Rebecca if she was keeping the baby and that's another reason why can actually believe she was waiting on a opportunity to get rid of the baby and he brought it up himself
@@marquviousgreen4674 you’re right about that! I think her treatment of Sarah also doesn’t help, but I guess that’s more of me issue, since other people kinda share Jane’s sentiment on that regard. Still, I agree with you on her behavior towards Rebecca/AJ was weird, and very indicative of her future actions. I do want to say her inclusion in the story isn’t a bad thing! But they placed her in a position of the story where she doesn’t work and harms her character. I think she’d fit more as another viewpoint into different mindsets, someone Clem can grow to understand (ie. The survival of the fittest mindset) or have conflicting ideas with. I remember choosing her over Kenny out of curiosity - and immediately reversing the decision when it was revealed about AJ being alive, and hidden to drive Kenny over the edge, just because her reasoning made me so angry.
I hate how everyone excuse why they choose jane was because kenny was becoming unstable and i am like did you not play the game or do you not understand kenny. What did he do that was unstable? Brutally killing cavier after he shot some of his friends, force him to work as a slave and brutal beat him until he became blind in one eye or being pissed that his girlfriend just died and he doesn't get time to mourn because they gotta move on to the next location and leave her body behind to get eaten by walker or left in a tent or the fact that the group is attacked by a russian group and half their group is injured and rebecca dies so he doesn't treat arvo that nice because him and jane are the reason that attack happened in the first place. Yall need to understand kenny was doing just fine until luke group came to his cabin, they killed nick, got kenny and his group captured for no reason he literally had nothing to do with that group and do not know luke's people and got captured just for being with them, force to do manual labor for a guy he doesn't know just to survive and then gets his eye beaten out just for protecting clementine, and finally gets to let out his anger for all the thing cavier put him through and he finally think things are going to get better for him and group, sarita dies and now he feels alone again his second chance at love been taken away from him and he's probably suicidal at this point and only moving forward for clementine sake and then rebecca has her baby and he has a new found will to live and second chance at being a father and arvo group almost took that away from him with the firefight so that's another reason why he was pissed at arvo for endangering a newborn baby and then jane puts aj in the car and pretends that he was gone just to make kenny crash out and prove a point. Keep in mind in kenny's mind he thinks she left the baby out in the cold either to die or as a distraction so she could escape the walker which even myself i wouldn't put past her. Kenny sees things as either you fight to the death to defend that baby or you and the baby both die together there should be no reason in his mind that you are returning empty handed. So he had every right to retaliate the way he did against jane she is crazy and only out for herself and that's the mentality she was tryna force onto clementine and Aj
Killing people over assumption? Right, what a great way to deal with problems in ZA. I never saw that much Kenny glaze in my life. He WAS unstable, it's OK to admit it and still liking him. Mike and bonnie couldn't be trusted to begin with hell anyone from cavier's camp shouldn't be if we are being honest all everyone in the group did was mess up kenny's life even further than it's already been. Kenny wasn't losing it he was a grieving man that didn't have time to mourn because they were always on the move, all the events that takes place after meeting kenny again all the takes place in almost 2 weeks so it's understandable how kenny must be feeling right now losing his friends, new love interesting and camp. Bro this is the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE and they are in the middle of a BLIZZARD ain't no time for some damn games when it comes to the life of a baby any other walking dead character in rick's group would have thought she was batshit crazy and shoot her on the spot. You wanna talk about dealing with problems in the zombie apocalypse ain't she the one that pretends to kill a child or leave it out to die just so kenny could snap? Do you not hear how that sounds? Yeah kenny was losing it that before all his emotional support just DIED and he couldn't do nothing about it, he didn't get the chance to save anyone or atleast say goodbye to anyone besides sarita and that option depends on what the player does. Aj was his new support system snd he was going to protect Aj with his life which he does in season 3 if you let kenny live what does jane do in season 3 again…
@@5i.260 i love how every time i post a reply to your comment it gets deleted. I don't curse or say anything offensive look if you don't agree with me that fine but don't report my comments because your mad. But back to my point what assumption. She came in the lodge by herself and sounded sad giving kenny, clem and the player the belief that she left the baby to die. And yes jane had to go any normal person or anybody in rick's group would have done the same thing kenny did to her. You think kenny is unstable anybody that would leave a baby out in the cold endanger or being eaten by a walker or succumbing to the cold is a psychopath and she did it to prove a point that does not make sense if you have half the brain to think about it. Her idea was to make him think she left the baby to die just so he would attack her for it tell me what part of that is something a normal person would do. It's not glaze it's me actually understanding the character and their trails and tribulations. Something that you clearly do not understand. Bonnie is not a trustworthy in 400 days she constantly flirts with a married man right in front of his wife, she lied to clementine the first time she met her and tries to act innocent to her, and she literally betrayed every single group she has been apart of, and mike always arvo to shot a child right in front of him and he does nothing and he condemns a child, a newborn baby to die him and bonnie took all of the supplies with them when they left i would understand some but they took ALL OF THEM and they took the guy that ambused their group and got members of their group killed or injured with them like he was innocent in everything that was going on. Kenny was not unstable he just has no sympathy at this point for anyone that harms him and his group why should he be nice to arvo when everything he just did to them. Let talk about jane how she told rebecca if she was gonna keep the baby, how she abandoned the group already and only returned for self preservation, how she was about to abandon clem and rebecca so she could survive, how she left sarah to die and tried to convince clementine to do the same twice. So forgive kenny for thinking she wouldn't have no problem leaving a baby to die if it means she would survive in the end he even says it himself and you can't say that me or kenny is wrong because in the next game she literally ended herself when she finds out she is pregnant leaving a child and a baby alone to fend for themselves. It funny how kenny is unstable but he always clem and aj to go to wellington and be safe in there well he walks off or if clem stayed with kenny he sacrifices himself so both clem and aj could survive. But what does jane do… oh she dies and leave them alone a couple of weeks after kenny death which means picking her is a terrible choice she does not do anything to help them in the long run. Kenny protected them for 2 years before he died but jane couldn't even do that for a month.
@@marquviousgreen4674 You clearly biased against Kenny. I already forgot about my comment, I never reported you lmao, I don't care that much. Nope, all Kenny knew was "baby is dead, something happened", but he assumed Jane killed him. Literally based on NOTHING. He absolutely lost it. He even admits it if Jane died, "everything turned black" he said I think. I never said Jane was right either, they are both broken and traumatized people. It's never ok to kill a person for assumption. Rick's group would never did that, exile would be their solution, not killing. Rewatch the series. Again, it's not my point about Mike and Bonnie. It's irrelevant. They still had a reason to leave because of Kenny. They were afraid of him. Doesn't matter what they did earlier, stop trying to pick favorites, it's childish. You understood Kenny, but not other characters. Jane saved the group on multiple occasions and was dealing with her issues. But you ignored that entirely. I hope you understand that not everything is black and white and person can be right and wrong at the same time, whatever you like the character or not.
@@5i.260 you damn right i am biased because jane does absolutely nothing to benefit the group and any helpful way, she didn't help at all with breaking out of carver's camp, her and luke was supposed to be looking out for walkers and instead they ended up having sex, etc i can keep going on but i'm not finna type all that out. He has every right to think she would have had left Aj to die and it so sad that you did not pick up on that, i literally said it mulitple times. She told rebecca that it was dangerous to keep the baby alive, she almost left clem and rebecca to die and she tried talk clem into leave sarah another child to die because she seen her as weak and useless like she saw aj. Yes rick group would i have watched the show and read the comics rick does not take child death or anything in that nature light neither does michonne in the comics or carol in the show they are ready to kill anyone that harms a child like a serial killer in the comic that killed hershel daughters, that lil girl that killed her own sister or the death of lori and judith. The gang really cares about children and reorganized their lives above anyone else so if someone causes harm to them then they will end them so go rewatch the series or read the book and come back when u know what you're talking about. Yeah you would lose it too when a baby you sworn to protect with your life and your second chance at parenthood is token away from you by someone that doesn't have sympathy for anyone around her lives. The only time she "saved" the group was when she killed tory and even then he was considering joining them and leave carver's camp until she shot him. Please tell me when was the other times she saved them. Wtf are you talking about this isn't a grey situation she is a endangerment to everyone around her and this situation is as simple as it comes. That like saying a serial killer that says that they gonna kill again if given the chance goes off in the woods with someone and only he comes back. You gonna obviously assume the worse and know that they did something because they made their attentions know from the start and that's what jane did. And you sound stupid nothing is childish about having a favorite character everyone has a favorite character in a game, book, show or sport that is not childish that person is just more entraining then the other and you are drawn to them more. But i can also put aside my feelings for a character and actually nick pick their flaws as well also understand not only that character but other characters stories. Their is alot i don't like about kenny personally but he is a far better survival partner then jane will ever be
Kenny is clearly not a perfect person, but at least he’s predictable and, if it came down to it, you know Kenny is going to try to save you/protect you and the baby. Jane is just…uhhhh. She’s so selfish and cynical. Literally got on my nerves every time she opened her mouth. And when she asked Rebecca “what are you going to do with it,” “it” being the baby, I was like WHAT?!
Jane is so selfish. She is one of the only characters I genuinely hate. She is beyond manipulative too. She put AJ in danger knowing it would set Kenny off. Kenny was in the right to freak out on her. He genuinely thought she killed AJ and genuinely believed she was a threat to Clementine. Kenny can go overboard but he does what he does to protect the kids even when it’s harsh. Jane just did things for herself not caring about who would or could get hurt.
I think what's worse, she was around the group long enough to know that Kenny does care, and is trying to do right and good by the group in spite of his anger problems. Her point that eventually he might snap and hurt somebody is something most of the people in the group are already aware of and are willing to work with. Its like judging someone for a crime they haven't even committed yet. Granted, therapists are probably in short supply in the walking dead universe, but Kenny was making an effort. Losing track of a baby when its your ONE job is justifiably something to get really upset about, to say nothing of the fact she intentionally put AJ in harms way.
If you go with Kenny, he canonically sacrifices himself to save Clem and AJ. And the ending where he leaves them is one of the saddest scenes in media. Kenny is the one true GOAT If you go with Jane, she canonically kills herself when she finds out she got pregnant. She takes the easy way out rather than be responsible for 3 lives in addition to her own. She is for the streets
I remember when this series first came out. I was legitimately surprised by how many people sided with her over Kenny. Like even if you don't like Kenny why would trust her over him. You barely know her and she is exactly everything you said in this video. And really who pretends a baby is dead to prove a point. I mean who wouldn't snap if they thought you killed a baby? Even the most hardened of career criminals will kills someone for hurting a kid. If someone is like oh fair point to that then Imma be watching their ass.
Bonnie, Mike, Jane, Nick, and Carlos=🗑 Edit: But in all seriousness, it really should've been Luke and Kenny in the end. Telltale forced the 'bond' between Jane and Clementine when Luke pretty much proved to be a better person that acted like a big brother to Clem.
The thing Jane did is the equivalent of punching someone in the face and broke their nose and when that person is screaming in pain and cursing her because what she did, she will be all "oh look how violent and crazy this person is", like seriously!??!?!
There were signs but most players ignored them. She was telling Clem to leave everyone and everyone will get her killed. How do you say that everyone is not the same. She was also always eager to abondon sarah and let her die. Again she generalised that Sarah was like her sister and couldnt be saved, really? Clementine made progress with Sarah. Also having sex with Luke at a wrong time putting safety of the group in jeopardy. Her hiding AJ to prove a point was the final straw, that never made sense. At least Telltale was consistent with her character because even if you stay with her she kills herself. Totally selfish and definitely the worst walking dead character
I hate Jane as much as the next, but Jane killing herself isn’t as selfish as you think. Imagine if Jane dies giving birth or dies soon after (like Rebeca). Well that fucks over Clem because Clem either has to abandon the baby (highly doubt that she does) or has to now feed 2 babies all by herself. So with that potential risk, Jane killing herself is more selfless than selfish.
I hated Jane so damn much that during my playthrough of this season, despite literally having just killed Kenny (which hurt by the way), I chose to leave her ass behind and just have Clem and AJ be alone. Because the alternative to that is the chick who literally offs herself when she finds out she’s pregnant because she was stupid as fuck and decided to get laid while knowing damn well she couldn’t prevent that. Kenny was FAR from perfect but at least I never felt like he would just leave Clementine and AJ behind to save his own ass or to avoid responsibility. Shit even when it is likely to screw him over, Kenny will STILL put Clementine and AJ above himself.
No for real that actually pisses me off that you can let jane kill him, shoot kenny, leave kenny when you find out Aj is alive or leave kenny at Wellington but you can only sit there and watch jane die.
Before the ending of season 2 and the beginning of Clems next story, I thought Jane was alright, but you realize she’s as unstable as the people she calls out
If you watch Akain's video about season 2 of the Walking Dead...it almost seems like Clementine would have been so much better completely on her own. No seriously dude you should watch that video and see if your mind changes on anything, cause maaannn...those adults put waayy too much pressure on poor Clem as it was. And this includes Jane. All the adults in season 2 were just impossible when you analyze it, I swear lol
im honestly convinced that the people who decided to go on her side are either manipulated in her twisted mindset or doesn't like Kenny despite all of his reactions being normal considering what he gone through
Jane has 0 likability whatsoever ☠️🙏 I feel like the ending decision would’ve been much more compelling if it was choosing to side with Kenny or LUKE since Luke was the only new likeable n heavy potential character to be another figure for Clem
We're not even gonna talk about the fact in the season 3 flashbacks she kills herself when she finds out she's pregnant with Luke's baby. I mean she gave Clem no warning or anything, leaving Clem alone with AJ. So just from this she took the easy way out cause she didn't wanna deal with another kid even though it's her fault she got pregnant!
I'm not at all saying Kenny is a saint but compared to Jane he's a fucking angel. He puts clementine and AJ first in every single situation. Not to mention Jane left a NEWBORN BABY in the cold inside of a car where there were roaming walkers around where he could've died, by either eaten by walkers or died from the cold. Kenny will give up Wellington for Clem and AJ to stay. He will sacrifice his body for clem to get AJ and escape the car crash. He will admit that he was out of line and greatful if you do shoot him. Even in his last monents he isn't angry at clementine. Not to mention the group being absolute dumbasses the entire way through. He was mentally unstable yes but I'd be frustrated too if I was in his situation. There is no way they actually sided with Arvo a boy who nearly got them killed over a man who fan fix a broken truck that likely hasn't worked in months or even years. Kenny proves himself time and time again
@cocomelooonmelooo3891 and let's not forget if jane hadn't attended or DID robbed arvo depending on ur choice, ARVO wouldn't had never brought his people to raid clem and crew.
@@mksthabest Nah kenny is not a saint compared to jane. Both are messed up kenny has done a plenty of messed up things that makes him just as far from a saint. He killed larry infront of his daughter at the risk of being a walker. But when his own son gets put in that situation where he might turn he clearly acts stubborn nearly letting duck turn in to a walker and putting the people he is travelling with at risk. He abandoned that one guys son and ran away with duck when he could have just told duck to get out of there after helping him and then help Lee save the other guys son at that barn. Kenny has fucked people plenty of times at least more than once. I don't think kenny is that far of from jane kenny has been selfish a lot of the time. Hell kenny will side against you if you don't back him even if you help him with his situatoin with duck with his son that is about to die even when you console him from that if you do not side with kenny once kenny will look at you like you did nothing for him when you are lee.
Jane saved Luke when he was put into gun point by one of Carver's men, She saved Kenny from the last Russian Soldier who he struggled to kill, Stood up for Arvo when Kenny was beating him and even went out of her way to rob Arvo just to keep Rebecca alive.
I can understand staying with Kenny or going to Wellington. I can understand putting Kenny down and leaving on your own. What I CAN'T for the life of me understand is anyone who choses Jane.
Isn't because Jane is left wing and Kenny right wing? I mean, Jane doesn't care about babies and kills herself. Kenny otherwise is all about family and, well, from Florida 😅.
The whole cast of second season pissed né off but jame takes the cale You PRETENDEd a baby died and you are suprised by Kenny reaction You cause Arvo to attack us and then HAVE THE NERVE TO CRITACIZE KENNY FOR BEING PISSED OFF WHEN NOT EVEN A MINUET AGO HÉ WAS SHOOTING AT US!!!!!! JANE IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST CHARECTER!!!!
When is episodes were coming out for season 2, even when I was in high school, I felt like Jane was just shoving Clementine into the surrogate little sister to replace the sister that died. I didn’t like her then and I still don’t like her.
Honestly yeah she didn’t have to try and “poke the bear more”. Especially like that. AJ could’ve died from the cold or walkers cuz of her stupidity just to prove a point that didn’t need to be proved 😭
A lot of people didn't like Kenny after Katja and Ducked died, but the man lost everything he loved and it made him a very, very broken man. Jane chose, for whatever reason, to antagonize that very broken man in order to....prove a point?
Not even just that, she ends up unaliving herself in season 3 which is completely annoying because whoever chooses her over Kenny ends up with nothing but if you take Kenny’s side he’ll sacrifice himself, Jane does things without thinking about how it will affect others she does think only about herself
Jane couldn't have antagonized Kenny at a worse time, too. Literally just those 2, AJ and Clem, a newborn baby and a girl with a bunch of wounds on her. (Dog bite and a bullet wound) Sure Kenny was in a bad place after losing Sarita and probably still mourning Duck and Kat deep down, but it was no excuse to rock the boat even more now that Bonnie, Arvo and Mike were gone, and tbh Mike was the only useful person of the three.
Let's go through Kenny V Jane. Their beef didn't really start until ep. 5 after Luke's death. •She, along with the rest of the trogladyte squad, consisting of Mike and Bonnie blame Kenny for Luke's death, despite it being Arvo(Running away across the lake) and Bonnie/Clem's fault(adding more weight to the breaking ice). But, somehow, it's Kenny's fault, despite him wanting to kill Arvo after he brought his gang to rob them. •After Kenny repairs the truck, the trogladyte squad tries to steal it, along with the food and abandon Kenny, Jane, Clementine, and a baby. Clem gets shot by Arvo, and they book it, leaving Kenny justifiably angry over this. •Despite Kenny's justified anger over the trogladyte squad's betrayal, Jane continues to blame Kenny and enrage him even more for absolutely NO REASON. He even tried to shut down the argument several times. •After the crash, Kenny and Clem find Jane and ask about the baby. Jane, by this point, has already established herself willing to sacrifice others for her survival, so when she shows up again without the baby, that leaves only one conclusion. A conclusion that she wanted Kenny to make so that he'll go off the hinges and "ShOw WhO He ReAlLY Is🤓🤓🤓." •After the fight, it's revealed that the psycho bitch that is Jane, hid AJ, thereby endangering him, to prove a fucking point. A point, mind you, that isn't true. The point is that Kenny is unstable and dangerous. Examples of Kenny being "unstable and dangerous": •beating Carver to death. •fighting walkers •wanting to hold AJ so tired and dying Rebecca can relax •wanting to kill Arvo after the gunfight that Arvo started •beating Arvo after he gets Luke(and potentially Bonnie) killed These are all times that the trogladyte squad audibly say or voice their opinion that Kenny is crazy. These are not examples of an insane person. They are examples of justified rage and action. •After that, if you pick to leave with Jane, she kills herself(L, RIP Bozo, You will not be missed) and abandons Clem and AJ. Whereas, if you leave with Kenny, he sacrifices himself for Clem and AJ. The choice isn't hard. Either you pick Kenny or you must be living in a very comfy and padded room. Yeah, Kenny could be an opp in Season 1, but he still sticks by you. In Season 2, despite being weird and sometimes dumb(trying to jump armed guards after being captured), he's still the most reasonable person in the group besides Clem, Luke, and Pete.
Jane was genuinely a great character and had so much potential until they ruined her in episode 5. Shooting Troy in the nuts, teaching Clem combat, and saving the group from the Russians was great. I really liked how they explained she was a loner because of her dead sister, who pushed people away as to not be attached to a potential loss in the future. The sisterly relationship she built with Clem was nice, to the point Jane came back because Clem was like a little sister she refused to lose, finally. It was refreshing seeing Jane actually take charge and do a lot of the work in their scenes together too, considering the fact every other decision was being made by an 11 year old. The issue is that episode 5 ruined everything they had already established with the character. Her little plot to prove Kenny was dangerous, she knew would end in her death. The reason it was so crazy and out of character is because she deliberately put her life in the hands of an 11 year old, something she would've NEVER done. If you choose her, the season 3 flashback is even worse, with her hanging herself, another thing she would never do... Episode 5 would've really benefitted from not being rushed, since it was originally meant to be Kenny vs Luke. I 100% believe Jane would've been a very well liked character had they killed her off another way. I understand choosing Jane > Kenny with no prior knowledge while getting Kenny's worse dialogues, but Kenny is the only RIGHT answer that I consider truly canon.
Always pick Kenny. With Jane, we can determine her eventual fate regardless if Clem went with her. Regardless of where she goes after that abandoned daycare, she'll still find out that she's pregnant with Luke's child, and she'll... well, TH-cam won't let me say it. But if you part ways with Kenny, either at the daycare or at Wellington, his fate is unknown to us. He might still be alive for the forseeable future.
My first play through of S2 I ended up siding with Jane. Choice was honestly pretty straight forward. I was never a Kenny Simp and had negative opinions of the man even back in S1. I always call him a slightly less angry Larry, but unlike Larry a coward throughout most of S1. I even consider his unwillingness to be with Katjaa when she needed him most likely lead to her demise. For me it's putting down a dog thar is very likely going to kill someone for the wrong reasons. That being said. I'l still choose to shoot Kenny even today, despite my opinions of Jane also being negative. I can hate both of them. I wish more would realize hating Kenny doesn't mean you like Jane. I honestly blame Kenny for much of the deaths in both S1/2.
Claims to protect Clementine, and then leaves her stranded alone with a baby if you side with her.
She makes the most pathetically half hearted attempt at helping sarah, having completely written her off as deadweight
She takes the baby with her after the truck crashes... and then immediately uses it as a ploy to mentally break a traumatized and emotionally taxed old man.
Yep, every time i replay these games, “taking care of kenny and he’ll take care of you” is my motto
@@sasaki999pro Also if we kept her alive she has the gall to say Kenny is dangerous when you discover that the baby was alive. An she started a fight that didn't need to happen.
@@SincerelyTaterTot I never thought of that scenario 🤔.
Lee would have taken Kenny, Aj and Clem outta there. If he cant fix Kenny's mindset he leaving him too
I persoanlly believe that despite Lee and Clementine being player controlled depending on the season they still have defining chracteristics.

If you haven't watched the videos yet or played games then don't read this
I agree with you, Kenny never turned his back on Lee even after he got bit.
Keep this in mind
Kenny will SACRIFICE everything including himself for Clementine. Proved it in all of his S2 endings
Jane will sacrifice herself so she won’t have to suffer the consequences of her actions, leaving a Baby & a Child behind to fend for themselves
Kenny said it best “You don’t just end it because it’s hard.

And she showed how much she actually cared for Lee and Clem before leaving. Perhaps the Season 2 moral dilemma would have to be switched up if she was there.
Jane was not evil but yeah she is unlikable. You cant rely on her.
@@vinhbao9738 leaving a kid out in the cold to die from the cold or possibly a walker just to prove a point is evil, she also allows sarah another child to die for "slowing her down" is evil, telling rebecca if she wants to keep the baby or let it die is evil, and almost abandoning clementine and rebecca for self preservation is messed up
She saved Luke when being put in gun point by one of Carver's men, She saved Kenny from the last Russian thug who he had trouble shooting and overall, she was willing to go out of her way to get Arvo's stash of medicine just to keep Rebecca alive.
The funny thing is that the first time I played it I actually shot Kenny! And when I found out that Jane hid AJ in the frozen car, I was Like "Ah heck nahhhh" and immediately restarted the episode and when I got to the end, I was very happy with myself for letting Kenny stab her
i never shot kenny never will kenny was a broken man and let his emotions cloud his judgment but hes still has some good in him and him clem have been through thick and thin
I agree with you, I love Kenny, Kenny proved what kind of a man he was twice, at the end of episode 2, and in a flashback dream of Clementine in episode 3
jane implies she left her sister behind
jane is the reason Arvo's friend's ambush the group
If you take from the bag clem just takes the pain meds and gives the bag back and Jane takes it
@@GamingWithJazz exactly
She doesn't imply it, she straight up says that she told her sister "fine, die then." (not those exact words but the euivilent) and jamp the roof, leaving her to get mauled just because her sister was too scared to carry on. She was just dragging the child everywhere (her own words) instead of helping the girl emotionally and being a good mentor in a scary situation just like Lee was for Clem.
@@Rivər I haven't played s2 in awhile.
I was thinking about her implication when she convinced you to leave Sarah. IIRC when she tried to convince Rebecca to leave her baby behind
@@GamingWithJazz But it wasn't an implication it was a confession. Implication would mean she hasn't confirmed it herself but she actually has.
Kenny was already messed up, and she decided to mess with him even more + put a baby in danger just to prove a point
Jane plans is stupid she literally endagered two children if Kenny was truly unhinged and we all knew he was she is leading two kids into a dangerous situation imcluding herself if kenny hurt them in the state she put him in
Bonnie and Mike already knew that too when he beat the shit out of Arvo.
Bro Jane is so trash. Kenny has went through more than she coulda imagined. Lost his wife and son in the same breath. Lost sarita then he thought he lost aj too. Like bro Kenny was at a vulnerable time and she chose to prey on that

Jane says "Don't intervene" she was trying to get Kenny to kill her because she wanted to die. Jane just wanted to die.
I hated that her and Luke screwed like right after Luke’s friend of 20 years died. Like what?? Nick is dead and you still trying to get laid? With JANE?
It's common because of vulnerability. Luke was vulnerable, and Jane seized the opportunity
@mysteryace2129 she did, while Rebecca was in LABOR, further showing how manipulating and careless she is
does it really matter?.. knowing how sad Luke has become due to losing Nick & his other friends, Jane just wanted to cheer him up and make him happy.

Janes is lonely and crazy, she cant be trusted, no shade but she couldnt even stay loyal to her sister.
Molly would've never left her sister behind.

oh it gets worse than that, when she found out being preggers with Luke's child, she IMMEDIATELY unalived herself to then become a walker
like she had NO hesitation and just ended it all at the flick of a wrist, undoing all this bs talk about her philosophical survival of the fittest nonsense
and leaving both clem and AJ alone to fend for themselves
That part really pissed me off about her. It shows she was even more selfish. She wasn’t even thinking about the possibility of having a baby when she messed around with Luke and when the consequences came about she decides to end herself and abandon two kids who needed her. I know Kenny can go ballistic but at least he won’t abandon people and he always puts the kids safety first.
@@crazyguy_1233 See I can't even hate her for that situation. Worst case scenario her and the baby dies. Maybe the baby dies and she doesn't or her and the baby live.
The only TTTWD character I hated more than Jane was Kate. Glad I've found my people lol.

@CapralHarrison all because she was pregnant, that's what she get for tappin luke with no protection. 😆
This gal was as bad or worse than she claimed Kenny was. She gas lit and created conflict almost for fun by the look of it.
I don’t get why people killed Kenny in the end Kenny is the goat
He even looks like one with that beard
FACTS. and the decision between whether to choose luke over lenny will be hard.

Their is alot i don't like about kenny personally but he is a far better survival partner then jane will ever be
i don’t understand why ppl like jane
I don’t understand who would ever chose Jane over Kenny smh.
If you go with Kenny, he canonically sacrifices himself to save Clem and AJ. And the ending where he leaves them is one of the saddest scenes in media. Kenny is the one true GOAT
If you go with Jane, she canonically kills herself when she finds out she got pregnant. She takes the easy way out rather than be responsible for 3 lives in addition to her own. She is for the streets

She left a baby alone and lied about it that’s enough for me to hate her
Sadly, I actually liked her until she aggravated Kenny in the car
Why she was a terrible person long before that event
The fact that we have the option to kill kenny but not jane 🤯
No for real that actually pisses me off that you can let jane kill him, shoot kenny, leave kenny when you find out Aj is alive or leave kenny at Wellington but you can only sit there and watch jane die.
i thought if you look away, you let Kenny kill Jane?
Before the ending of season 2 and the beginning of Clems next story, I thought Jane was alright, but you realize she’s as unstable as the people she calls out
If you watch Akain's video about season 2 of the Walking Dead...it almost seems like Clementine would have been so much better completely on her own. No seriously dude you should watch that video and see if your mind changes on anything, cause maaannn...those adults put waayy too much pressure on poor Clem as it was. And this includes Jane. All the adults in season 2 were just impossible when you analyze it, I swear lol
@@ElloFantasy Great youtuber, I believed I subbed to him
I used to like Jane until she hid AJ.
im honestly convinced that the people who decided to go on her side are either manipulated in her twisted mindset or doesn't like Kenny despite all of his reactions being normal considering what he gone through
Jane has 0 likability whatsoever ☠️🙏
I feel like the ending decision would’ve been much more compelling if it was choosing to side with Kenny or LUKE since Luke was the only new likeable n heavy potential character to be another figure for Clem
I mean to be fair she would have died from childbirth just like with that one lady
Advocates for survival at all costs, then proceeds to have unprotected intercourse with a guy in a dangerous situation... huh.
Molly was the better character.

🗿Molly > Jane
Jane saved Luke when he was put into gun point by one of Carver's men, She saved Kenny from the last Russian Soldier who he struggled to kill, Stood up for Arvo when Kenny was beating him and even went out of her way to rob Arvo just to keep Rebecca alive.
In reference to the widely held belief that Jane sacrificed her own life for the well-being of Clementine, I respectfully express my disagreement.
I can understand staying with Kenny or going to Wellington. I can understand putting Kenny down and leaving on your own. What I CAN'T for the life of me understand is anyone who choses Jane.
She was all about survival but she had no problem letting Luke hit it raw with a 100% chance of getting pregnant 😴😴
Isn't because Jane is left wing and Kenny right wing? I mean, Jane doesn't care about babies and kills herself. Kenny otherwise is all about family and, well, from Florida 😅.
The whole cast of second season pissed né off but jame takes the cale
You PRETENDEd a baby died and you are suprised by Kenny reaction
You cause Arvo to attack us and then HAVE THE NERVE TO CRITACIZE KENNY FOR BEING PISSED OFF WHEN NOT EVEN A MINUET AGO HÉ WAS SHOOTING AT US!!!!!!
JANE IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST CHARECTER!!!!
Kenny was dangerous but from what i remember people had it coming most of the time
When is episodes were coming out for season 2, even when I was in high school, I felt like Jane was just shoving Clementine into the surrogate little sister to replace the sister that died. I didn’t like her then and I still don’t like her.
@MsUnamusedNerd ooooo I remever back when we had to wait for each epidsode, shi was a pain 😆
0:59 with the world going down to shit and people being forced to make hard decisions just to survive, I'm not surprised that she is acting like this.
It shoulda been Molly to fill the cool lone survivor role for Clementine. Kenny’s a dick it makes sense not to like him but Jane was too damn much.
Lowkey outside of Clem, Aj, Javi, and Lee I never really liked the characters in this game. Kenny annoyed me and Jane is unbearable
Just wild work she was commiting gaming sins left and right brother
Honestly yeah she didn’t have to try and “poke the bear more”. Especially like that. AJ could’ve died from the cold or walkers cuz of her stupidity just to prove a point that didn’t need to be proved 😭
A lot of people didn't like Kenny after Katja and Ducked died, but the man lost everything he loved and it made him a very, very broken man. Jane chose, for whatever reason, to antagonize that very broken man in order to....prove a point?
Clem said it best I'm not going anywhere with you 😌
Not even just that, she ends up unaliving herself in season 3 which is completely annoying because whoever chooses her over Kenny ends up with nothing but if you take Kenny’s side he’ll sacrifice himself, Jane does things without thinking about how it will affect others she does think only about herself
well you are certainly not alone on this decision
I actually like Jane and the choice with Kenny or Jane is so hard for me I love Kenny but yet i liked Jane and I get her reasons
GOD ! THANK YOU !
Ur welcome 😅
Jane couldn't have antagonized Kenny at a worse time, too. Literally just those 2, AJ and Clem, a newborn baby and a girl with a bunch of wounds on her. (Dog bite and a bullet wound)
Sure Kenny was in a bad place after losing Sarita and probably still mourning Duck and Kat deep down, but it was no excuse to rock the boat even more now that Bonnie, Arvo and Mike were gone, and tbh Mike was the only useful person of the three.
A conclusion that she wanted Kenny to make so that he'll go off the hinges and "ShOw WhO He ReAlLY Is🤓🤓🤓."
•After the fight, it's revealed that the psycho bitch that is Jane, hid AJ, thereby endangering him, to prove a fucking point. A point, mind you, that isn't true.
The point is that Kenny is unstable and dangerous.
Examples of Kenny being "unstable and dangerous":
•beating Carver to death.
•fighting walkers
•wanting to hold AJ so tired and dying Rebecca can relax
•wanting to kill Arvo after the gunfight that Arvo started
•beating Arvo after he gets Luke(and potentially Bonnie) killed
These are all times that the trogladyte squad audibly say or voice their opinion that Kenny is crazy.
It was a mistake making the end Kenny vs Jane instead of Luke vs Kenny. The latter would've been a far more difficult decision.
Another point against her is that she 'gave up the goods' for Luke 💀
Clem got left with two completely unhinged people. Jane was a sociopath and Kenny mental has been crashing out since last game. Awful.
doesn’t even matter if you pick her cause she just khs anyway kenny’s easily better
@@thegooberestgoober yes
What the heck? What kind of accent is that? Is that a Louisiana accent? Whoooooooaaaaaaa! Sir you are a gem. Please make more videos.
I liked her for being a breath of fresh air, in the character roster. But I'd hate her IRL for sure.
