      The worst part is that he was replaced by Jesse, who then left the gig. Then USSF/GGG apologist McBride stepped in. I do like Tony better than McBride though.

    Why does Charlie hate johnny ????? Johnny and musah have played the exact same 147 minutes this season. But johnny isnt playing and musah should start ?? Keep that same energy big bro.

      Dont always agree with Charlie and dont think hes that good as an analyst more of a hype guy but Johnny has never impressed me at international level, including last few games in which to me he looked terrible. Not rating someone doesnt equate to hating him by yhe way🙄

      It’s not about that. I definitely agree that musah is and will be a better player than Johnny, it’s more about the standards that he has for some players

      @@Kyle-ls7gp that's a you problem first and foremost. He's done just fine with MNT. You people have a ridiculous standard of how more technical players should play. Pep said it best. Your 6 shouldn't be jumping off the page. Charlie is a habitual goal post mover. Musah was trash last window but again, walks straight in? Naw. If he said Morris , Weston and Tillman, fair play. But he didn't.

    Charlie is out of date on Johnny and Musah. Back from injury, Johnny is playing for Real Betis. Musah is sporadically playing, at best, but appears to be on the outside looking in for AC Milan. Both looked bad in the last window for the USMNT. So why does Musah continually get a pass for poor performances and zero improvement in his game? I can't tell if it's some weird bias or some of the commentators spending more time talking about the players than actually following their performances.

    You could tell Charlie isn’t a fan of Johnny. Every podcast he shouts out musah McKennie Tyler and now busio but never mentions Johnny. He’s probably our the most technical of them all and gets the most hate.

    • @siuu9347
      @siuu9347 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I haven’t seen him do anything special? He’s a basic CM, nothing special. Musah when’s he on provides attacking prowess with his dribbling, Tyler is great at tackling and a solid CDM when on, Mckennie when going is a good end to end cm. I’m not a hater, but I’d like to keep seeing Johnny play. He’s a good passer but he needs to provide more in order to statt

      @@siuu9347 I love Musah and think he's got the chance to be exceptional, but I can understand the statement being made above because the reasons Charlie gives to discredit Johnny very much also apply to Musah right now but it does look like Charlie goes out of his way to point those things out with Johnny while ignoring the same things when it comes to Musah. Don't know why that is but I can see why others might think there's more to the story than just the soccer.

    No Maloney shout? He should be considered over any De La Torre mention.
    Also don't forget that Miles and Zimmerman pairing got lit up every decent team in the Olympics. An under 23 tournament. Ream immediately goes to Cincinnati and starts ballng again. MLS level is simply low

    2013 USMNT was the best I had ever seen in my life! And I personally thought Klingsmann was an amazing coach, but when he left Landon Donovan behind for WC2014, I looked at him and said... that's F''' up. To end his career like that
    I completely understand why Donovan then when to win MLS Cup with Galaxy! I would be so pissed I would destroy any opponent that comes at me after that!

      As some dude on Reddit likes to remind everyone, we hardly ever score without him playing.
      That doesn’t mean he is consistently great, but he is usually one of our better players despite a certain coach misusing him and we have not seen his full potential. He’s been hindered by some things (some his fault), but he is just shy of 22. Yet we still have people who dump on him.
