One thing folks should consider is that LA is, perhaps ironically, way more Latino than SD, in both total number and percentage. SDFC will need to reach out to the rest of the community.
The San Diego Wave (NWSL) are there too. Also MLS pushed USL Side San Diego Loyal out. No Idea if Sacramento will be in the Mix. The Focus is probably on MLS Las Vegas in the next few years.
San Diego Loyal had the better badge too. Overall the badge situation down there is a shame. We also think Las Vegas will be the next franchise. Who knows we may even see the quakes move over there after Fisher moved the athletics.
@@AlwaysHalftime See that's what I'm looking at right now. The non-investment of the Quakes by Fisher mirrors what Precourt did to get Columbus going to Austin in the First Place. My hope is for Fisher to sell the team and not move them. I'd hate to see a City lose the same Club twice.
@@AKUNJIG me too, selling is the best option for the fans but I fear fisher wouldn’t do that cause it’s a good investment, he’s basically guaranteed to make a profit every year
@@AlwaysHalftime Honestly, the badge grows on you. Esp after seeing all the art work done from each of the cities.. It actually works pretty well. At first it didn't grab my eye.. but it's def grown on me.
The concept that you think Tom "I don't know shit about soccer" Penn is the secret to LAFC success your out of your mind. Penn got fired/let go after LAFC started because he is just a suit and adds nothing. He is at best a project manager. With zero talent. He is not the one making any decisions about players. Come on guys.
Don’t underestimate Mexi fans loyalty to ligamx teams. They will be slow to turn up. Chucky def helps. Ligamx is (or was) the most watched soccer league in America. I also think it’s a mistake not build the stadium right downtown. Prob couldn’t get it done but that should be their goal

Snap Dragon Stadium is great for Soccer. It's not a temporary situation.

That Chula Vista plan was spearheaded by the Loyal before they folded
I did not know that, thanks for letting me know 👍
They’ll be the best team since Atlanta
Is this just a hot take. Why are you guessing. Tom Penn has said they signed a 30 year lease with snapdragon.

much too late for that, St Louis had a blockbuster start because they had a RESERVE team a year before the SENIOR TEAM WAS EVEN PUT TOGETHER.
I think San Diego should be fine, they also have the right to dream academy that we forgot to mention in the vid that can def help kickstart talent.

That’s true, hopefully if their the best team in the region with a bunch of Mexican players the fans can make room in their hearts for one more team.
And you did not even look in to the Right to dream academy that they are a part of
It’s funny we actually had that in the first take but didn’t bring up in the 2nd. It’s in the first article that we talked about
How are you sports fans and not understand that a "city" population does not represent the actual "media market". Seattle = 4 million population.
What they don’t tell u is that the metropolitan area is over 6k square miles, at some point you have to ditch the metropolitan area lingo.
@@AlwaysHalftime Uh, no. That would be ridiculous. Cities are often times tiny compared to the actual media market.
