To go from Greg Berhalter to Mauricio Pochettino is like going from Greg Berhalter to Mauricio Pochettino. It is its own analogy.

It’s much better than berhalter but he needs to get the players to step up and get the best talent in not just on jersey names on back. Get new young players in and get them experience.

The USA is currently ranked 16th in the world. To have a realistic chance of winning the World Cup, we'll need to improve our ranking into the top six. That means rising above Switzerland, Morocco, Germany, Croatia, Uruguay, Italy, Colombia, Portugal, Netherlands and Belgium. The USA is currently on a downward trajectory.

If you want it you go take it. Finally a coach who has great international experience and has coached good quality players and teams. This is new ground for USA. Now we wait and see. Improvement is what we need to see quarterfinals and or semifinals is the next step. Winning World Cup even at home will be very difficult because he doesn’t have much time. Look it may be because of how he was prepped by the media/PR team, but I think it's a fantastic sign how much he said the word "believe." A core foundation for this team and this country. If he can't get the best out of these players, I don't think many can.

I LOVE THAT! "Sometimes people want to talk about philosophy, about ideas, and about ..... come on that is bs. It is to compete, to be protagonists.

I love what Poch said about looking to the women to find the belief that we can win against anyone. What Emma Hayes did was incredible, somehow molding a committed, cohesive, Olympic champion team after only a couple months. They should definitely serve as inspiration to our guys. :)

I have NEVER felt this optimistic about the USMNT. We have the players with the talent and now we have the world class coach. The only thing missing is the winning mentality.
