Well that was an interesting property! My favourite room is the extension for what looks like a Granny flat, maybe for a relative recuperating after an illness. They even have a small dining table and armchair to rest. Lovely. I also very much liked the spacious garden. Don't mention the Elizabeth Line Matt as you'll set me off! 😢 Opening the new tube line was one of the final engagements carried out by our dear late Majesty. 💛

Great little tour of a fascinating property, still with lots of its now fashionable Mid-Century Modern features. The floor plan is a bit weird so I agree you’re right to make much more of a feature of the garden frontage. For a real, costly upheaval I’d move the bathroom to the back of the living room as that’s dead, dark space and perhaps extend the kitchen into the old bathroom area. This would make more of a separation between the sleeping and living areas.
