It’s gorgeous and I’m sure you’ve added that value to the house and more! Completely transformed. Good to know as it’s a lot to do a full renovation, but you should be proud as you’ve grafted and it’s paid off, hope you had a large glass of wine when it was all done! X

Excellent work you guys did really well. Can I ask Over what timeframe you carried the work out?
Looks great, personally id think about maybe painting the brick a nicer colour or maybe render?
Were not as young as you its our 5th renovation and fuinal one we had to employ alot of labour total for renovation extention which is very big 90K we still have two bedrooms to decorate and carpet then minor works to garage roof and garden base and shed poss another 5k then were done
Wow that's a lot considering your house is quite small. Just shows how expensive things are now. It looks great though.
I actually think , for a bungalow, this one is generous in size. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are often hard to find. DIY isn’t cheap anymore.
I live in a two bed house so it’s very generous in size to me, depends what you’re used to I suppose 🤔. Looks great doesn’t it!
Very useful video, just think how much more this would’ve cost with full labour costs.. you’re total cost is extremely reasonable well done

Great video and breakdown of costs. I guess one difference for other people would be how hands-on they could be. Were you full-time renovating the property or did you fit it in around your daytime jobs?
Thank you. Yes I agree, we definitely would have spent far more if we’d hired more of the work out. We did this around our full time jobs, it was just a lot of hours on evenings and weekends

How did you organise/schedule the plumber and tiler for the bathroom or did they know each other already
For our en-suite the tiler was our plumbers son, so he scheduled it for us 😊 For our main bathroom our plumber did the tiling for us
How is your washer and dryer stacking kit holding up
It’s great. Definitely worth it
Not cheap, but good value for a good finish and some great ideas (who'd have thought of painting the roof!)

Our tiler was the son of one of our contractors and I don't remember his name. Sorry I couldn't be more help
Have you had a valuation done to confirm any potential profit? Didn't you say at the start that you were not staying in this house and were doing it up to make money?
Yeah that’s right, we bought this as a project and are intending to sell. We have had several estate agents round to valuate but the market is mad at the moment 😅
Good breakdown but where’s painting costs etc ?
We did all the painting ourselves so the cost for the paint was under general supplies
All of that would be so much more expensive in the US.
£230 for doors🤔 you do mean per door right?
For all of the doors. We got them in the sale at wickes and we get trade discount on top of that 😊
