13 deaths have occurred from funnel web bits and 40,000 have died from mosquitoes. 14 million die each year from starvation

Snakes I’ll deal with all day. Even tarantulas. But I’m not dealing with the little spiders at ALL.

The world deadliest spider in the world is the Brazilian Wandering Spider, not the sydney funnel web spider

Hmmm, not all agree on this. Its not as aggressive as many other spiders. Unless its really aggravated, most of its bites are delivered 'dry', ie no venom. Venom bites occur if the spider is injured or pressed against something. If you are referring to the American Tim McWelch's list, his list is v bizarre. He puts the funnel webs down low, even while admitting how v aggressive they are, ( likely the most aggressive in the world) how they multi strike and every bite contains high amounts of venom. He admits, can kill an adult quickly, kids, no chance, 15 mins and they can be gone. (!!) It happened in Sydney to a 3 year old boy around 1979 and I'll never forget it. His parents!! He puts the Redback higher than the Funnel Web. This is madness. His list is crazy and its his personal opinions too, he's NO expert. The Funnel Web is right up there, its a lot more lethal than the Brazilian number when you take all the issues together. One's v aggressive, one isn't. One does usually dry bites unless injured or being squashed. The Funnel Web ALWAYS does fully envenorated bites. It will go after you. The Brazilian doesn't do multi strikes. Reckon facing the Brazilian would be a much better option than being chased by our ghastly funnel webs. Used to find them under rocks when we lived in a national park outside Sydney and its the only spider that gets my boot immediately. Oh and maybe the Redbacks, depends where the spider is actually. You're S American, explains your answer.

@@ingridclare7411by all accounts, the Brazilian wandering spider is much more aggressive.

The '' Delta Atracotoxin '' of the Male Sydney Funnel Web is regarded as the most lethal spider venom in the world.
