I have them. Replaced my broken Bose sport earbuds. So worth it for me. The transparency mode is absolutely mind-blowing. Noise cancellation too! The sound quality is really close to Bose if not better. I love the quality. Total win. I hope they last a long time.

Keep in mind when thinking of the cons, this guy has tried a tremendous amount of earbuds from all sorts of brands. Naturally he's going to be hard on these but know that if you buy them and are an average user/consumer of music, you will LOVE them.

For the price, there are better earbuds you'd find. But overall, these seem great considering the features, sound, transparency and the fit. If you ignore the microphone and ANC, these make a great pair. I wish Google adds some improvements to the microphone in future updates, because I don't mind the ANC.

I have them and they are incredible. I advise everyone to save your money and buy the Oneplus pro 3's. IMO the best valued true wireless buds out right now
One of the first Amazon reviews pointed out that the microphone gets bad when background noise is happening, it looks like this can be fixed just like the OnePlus buds Pro 3 fixed it by a firmware update. Do you think the firmware update to fix this will happen sometime soon?
I got mine. 2 days in and I love them. I had some issues with the left earbud where and was weaker. But blowing out the two front vents fixed it. ANC is nice. Sound quality is a noticeable bump in quality. The wingtip is a good save. My ears constantly wouldn't hold earbids. But these are the only pair to actually stay in. Which is very nice. (I've owned xm5's, linkbuds, pixel buds pro 1 and 2.)
They're fine, probably best when used with a Pixel phone as Google does gatekeep Spatial audio for non Pixel phones. (Which kinda sucks as that's a common feature on earbuds) I do like these as the transparency is among the best I've had in any earbuds to date. It's the closest we have to open ear headphones when it comes to hearing my surroundings. That's legitimately impressive. And so far I do agree with the mic quality, it is hit/miss with phone calls. But I'm hopeful it'll improve via an update down the line, as the original Pixel Buds Pro were the best for phone calls. So in short, if near perfect transparency is required for you, then I'd get these. If not, there's others out there for cheaper.
Why do they say Multipoint then its dualpoint. I expect they provide support for more then 2 devices, people might have a phone, tablet, laptop, and watch to take media where they left, apple does a great job here

I have pixel 8 pro and pixel watch 2 which I bought last year, I was looking forward to buying Pixel buds 2 pro but based on several reviews I decided not to go with it. Main dealbreaker was the mic quality. For such a high price the mic quality doesn't look on par with 40-50 USD earphones. I went with oneplus buds 3 pro
@@shethsa I went for the galaxy buds 3 pro, imo they were really nice and fit me well. There are some issues with le audio not working but, le audio usually just worsens the audio anyways and in terms of how comfortable they are they are a bit less comfortable then the galaxy buds 2 pro, since in those I could sleep with them, with these I can't but, the audio quality is definitely better. I got no idea for the one plus or pixel tho.

If touch and hold on the right earbud is ANC toggle, what happens when you wear the left bud only? Do you lose that gesture? Both Sony and Jabra had this and it is a small nuance but a pity.
They're okay, but some things can be improved on 1: Change the design to airpods like since that design is superior and will greatly improve microphone quality 2: Add ultra wide band support because for a pair of earbuds it's even more needed here for finding it 3: add qi2 wireless charging support 4: not related but make a custom chip for the pixel watch improve the battery life 😂
The apple watch has a custom chip and still have horrible battery life... Rated for 18 hours and in real life barely goes past 24 hours so it's really not a chip issue. Maybe increase battery size or build a pixel watch ultra

I just got a pair and fit is deffo a positive. I have small ears and sturggle with ear buds but these once twisted just fit. But the rest of stuff is pretty average.
"That" (Airpod) level, is where they need to be! I'm a Pixel 9 Pro XL user that came from iPhone 15 Pro Max and AirPod Pro 2's. I cannot understand why Google is so far behind the competition. This (might) be a major upgrade for the Pixel users but it's still horrible in 2024 from a company who's market cap is 2.041 Trillion USD. This isn't a small mom and pop shop. I was a OnePlus Fanboy for years but then I had to deal with their support when something went wrong. OnePlus support is a Catastrophic Dumpster fire! Buy their products at your peril and hope nothing goes wrong.
To the people saying "it'll be fixed with an update". Why is every Google product launch full of bugs and glitches? Why is Google unable to launch a product without having to find out from their customers what's wrong with their products? Phones, earbuds, tablets, speakers, no other company has to rely on updates this bad to make their products work as advertised.
The original ones I got when they launched and the microphone for phone calls was absolute garbage. Couldn't even use it which is what I get buds for and important for my needs

I feel like the ANC is worse. There's noise that you constantly hear when ANC is on. So when you're in a quiet environment, having ANC off is quieter than having it on. Hope they fix that with a future software update.
Switched from iphone 15 pro to pixel 9 pro. Currently have airpod pro 2's was thinking about getting the pixel buds pro 2 for some of the extra features with the pixel, but they dont seem like they are as good as airpods when it comes to sound, ANC, and transparency :/

There's a manual firmware upgrade out the box. I wonder if he did it. I haven't had any issues or complaints with came so far. Mic issues can be addressed with updates, they're good about updating their devices. They did alot for the first pixel buds pro

They aren't reading notifications for a ton of people, even myself. Not talking about the touch to hold, just the general notification reading. They also don't have independent notification volume. If your phone is on vibrate, then your earbuds are silent as well. Google is aware of these problems, and they don't care. Do not buy these.
