I have a few questions and I honestly think your the only person here that can give me any answers. I have this same machine (it's my favorite too💯) So my lid switch broke and as a temporary fix I bypassed the lid switch and it worked for 1 full load cycle. The second cycle it drained and refilled for the rinse but now the timer stops ticking right after rinse and it won't drain or spin. After the timer passes the rinse label the ticking almost sounds like its ran by a battery and the battery is dieing and then it just stops a little past rinse and wont go any further, it wont tick or drain and if i turn the nob to spin myself nothing happens. But if i start the cycle over the timer sounds like it works perfectly fine again up until it passes the rinse label. Any idea what went wrong? Do you think the replacement lid switch will fix the issue or does it sound like my temporary fix for one problem caused me a whole new problem?
He never said the washer quit working. He said the lid switch was broken, and demonstrated how it didn’t click. He already knew it was bypassed since it still worked.
So I followed your instructions and was able to pull a 7" brassiere underwire out of the pump and after getting everything back together and testing it, it still won't drain. The motor wasn't seized and the lid switch is working fine. What's next?
I'll try your motor reset method by unplugging the machine, re-plugging and opening the lid 6 times in 12 seconds, even though I'm skeptical it'll work. Worst case, I'll need to bail it out a third time.
Nope. Still won't drain. I've pumped it out a couple times and all it does when I turn it back on is refill and shut down. Looks like I'm calling a service technician after all.

Hello David! Good to hear from you and it's good news that today was a good day for you! It was great getting to know you too my friend, in the good ole days when Bigfoot was still doing well.. Yes, I used to post a video twice a week, then once a week, and now every other week. I have other TH-cam channels I am trying things on and more projects going on in life besides TH-cam so things sometimes get pretty busy. It sure sounds like old age brings with it many challenges.. My parents are in their early 70s and they are feeling it too. Heart problems, blood pressure, back, etc.. I hope that going forward you will have much more good days than bad days and may your sciatica be healed in the name of Jesus! We appreciate the greetings David and aloha to you from the sunny state of Hawaii! I am careful not to make any promises but if the Lord wills it and I end up in your state, it would be an honor to meet up with you in person. May Arnold stay in good health as well and stay with you for many years to come! God bless and take care David! 👨👩👦🤙🤙🌴🌞⛱

@David McKinney Sorry to hear about Arnold not feeling good. My sister has 3 cats that she loves in a similar way so I kind of understand what you mean when you say you are willing to spend whatever amount on them. My sister is like that too. It sounds like lately even though it is getting warmer outside you are probably dressing up in the house since you have to keep it nice and cold. It is commendable that you are ready to go so far for Arnold and what you did for Bigfoot. May Arnold feel better soon! I am happy that my channel and comments have been a help for you and that you found a friend in me. We appreciate your regular prayers and blessings. May God bless you and yours abundantly as well! I pray for you too. Don't forget to take care of yourself too, not just Arnold. As for my other channels.. I've had many. 😅 There's no need to follow them as I am not as active with them as I am on Word of Advice. If you just want to see them out of curiosity though, right now these are the channels I am working with: 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: th-cam.com/users/OrigamiCreationsvideos I used to make these myself but now hire somebody to make the videos for me. 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁: th-cam.com/users/VideoDigestvideos This used to be a big compilation channel of mine. TH-cam got a lot more strict with copyrighted material so I had to erase all my compilations or close the channel. Then I tried doing life advice videos on random topics, then random non-advice videos, then tried hiring a freehand artist, followed by 2 digital artists. Those videos don't seem very promising so now I plan to get a chameleon and make this whole channel into a shorts channel and perhaps rename it to "Daily Dose of Chameleon". That's just a potential plan though, we'll see where that goes... 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡: th-cam.com/channels/WGLfdGOQUrKK9dYdEq4qAg.htmlvideos I am more involved with this one but plan to slowly phase out in my replies as replying to people in Spanish is a bit time consuming.
there is a screw, which you can see the hole for, at the rear of the washer. this one screw holds the body to the back panel. In this video, the screw is missing. it is more work but, this screw must come out which requires pulling the washer far enough away from the wall to access it.

@@WordofAdviceTV thank you so very much Jay 👊🤘✌️🤙 for the comment yes it would be a honor to see you I'm not anything special and I'm sure not good looking like you Im just a middle age man trying to make it I feel pretty good today but Arnold 🐕 isn't feeling well he kept me awake off and on last night coming to my bed panting im going to call my vet this morning and talk to her about his condition and try another approach in something to help him I have to keep this house just as cold as I can get it for him he can't take the heat bigfoot got the same way if I could get the weight off him it would be a true blessing because his weight is getting the best of him and I have tried so many diets and spent thousands of dollars trying to keep him going and especially bigfoot I got to go through his records back when he first started having problems and I started taking him to the Dr and I added up all the money I've spent on chemotherapy and radiation and other treatments and all of his medications it was like fourteen thousand and three hundred dollars but I don't care about the money 💰 because like I told my vet I said I couldn't never spend enough money for what he has meant to me same way with Arnold 🐕 I'd give everything I own to try to save him but it doesn't work that way I just got to take it day by day and try to make the most of every day you know buddy... yes I remember that first video of you I watched and I remember thinking to myself right there is one very smart and special guy I could just tell that you were my type of person you have helped me out with advice and I have fixed a lot of people stuff thanks to you and you have been there for me as a friend when I needed one you just got a good way with words to me even though I have never seen you just talk to you through TH-cam but to me you are family buddy I wish you were my son because I sure love you like a son and I love your family I always keep you guys in my prayers and thoughts God bless me with your friendship because I don't talk to nobody else on TH-cam like I do you..
Let me know buddy about your other channels and I will subscribe to them as well
@David McKinney
Sorry to hear about Arnold not feeling good.
If you just want to see them out of curiosity though, right now these are the channels I am working with:
𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: th-cam.com/users/OrigamiCreationsvideos
I used to make these myself but now hire somebody to make the videos for me.
𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁: th-cam.com/users/VideoDigestvideos
This used to be a big compilation channel of mine.
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡: th-cam.com/channels/WGLfdGOQUrKK9dYdEq4qAg.htmlvideos
I am more involved with this one but plan to slowly phase out in my replies as replying to people in Spanish is a bit time consuming.
Can someone walk me through this
👍👍👍😃
Part Number???
Did not watch video (lid switch)
Kenmore is designed to fail. You get what you pay for!
can't watch this, too many ads
there is a screw, which you can see the hole for, at the rear of the washer. this one screw holds the body to the back panel. In this video, the screw is missing. it is more work but, this screw must come out which requires pulling the washer far enough away from the wall to access it.
Hey I loved the videos I’m actually trying to fix mine today there’s a part that’s not working I’m not sure what it is I have a photo of it if your on Instagram or Facebook if you can help me.
Thank you so much!!! ❤
