  • Our Goldendoodles' pros and cons are just a matter of perspective. In this video, I talk about the THREE top things to consider about this breed. All three can be seen as either positives or negatives.
    Whether Goldendoodle, Labradoodle, Aussiedoodle, Double Doodle, or any other Doodle dog breed, you will get an insider’s owners’ perspective on owning one of these lovable munchkins.
    In this video, I cover goldendoodle grooming, the tendency for a long puppyhood, and that incredible goldendoodle personality that makes them so popular the world over... and what that actually looks like for goldendoodle owners.

    It is almost like my F1B Goldendoodle boy, 4-yr old Chester, was born without an aggression gene. He is affectionate with anyone and any other dogs. He instantly becomes everyone's best friend.

    thank you for all your help. My sweet Dunkin is training to be my VA Registered Service Dog. I brush him twice a day every day. He loves our time cleaning up. He smells and feels awesome. He is a great dog. He loves me and cares for me like a pro. I can't say enough about how good and we'll behaved he is. My baby boy is 8months old and by fare the easiest dog I ever trained. I am so lucky that I take my Doodle EVERYWHERE with me. Otherwise I would go threw separation anxiety 😅

      Sounds like Dunkin has the perfect character to be your service dog. What joy that you get to be together all the time (I'm sure he loves it). x

    Yes, yes, yes to all of your observations!!!!! Does Sophie have the opportunity to play with other pups? I worry that Mollie, who is about Sophies age- -she’ll be 3 in December- -doesn’t have enough other doggie interaction. Dog parks scare me.

      Hi Frances, yes, she has plenty of opportunities to play with other dogs from my neighbourhood one to one. I'm not much for dog parks either. x

      Hello, Doodles are not a breed of dogs, it is a mix, it is a mutt. It is not recognized as a breed because it is not. This trend is causing a lot of puppy mills because of the popularity of this mix. So sad and cruel. Think about that, Shameful🐾💔😢

    I recently got a Goldendoodle. She is 14 weeks young! How much does Sophie weigh?

    • @MyGoldendoodleDiary
      @MyGoldendoodleDiary  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Dee, welcome to the world of Goldendoodles! Sophie is a 'small standard' and now weighs around 43 pounds/20ish kg. Enjoy your puppygirl. x

    hey I brought my goldendoodle home about a week and a half ago she is 17 weeks and I feel like I have a shadow, like no separation is at all allowed or else:) Is this something you saw with your puppy? thanks

      Congratulations Aryeh! Mine was always in my vicinity and observed me like a spy. It took some getting used to ha ha. Enjoy your lovely new shadow and thanks for watching. x

      @@MyGoldendoodleDiary I guess my question is if it gets better over time and she will eventually become more confident and not have to be always around me when she gets older?

    • @MyGoldendoodleDiary
      @MyGoldendoodleDiary  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it does get better over time, but it also involves you gradually gently training her to be more confident without you there. You might encourage her to go to her place on the dog bed away from you, where she has a chew toy reward to occupy her, or putting up a babygate so you can go to another room on your own without being followed, etc. Just remember consistency not only from you, but from everyone else in the household, whatever you choose your house rules to be. x
