    I see the starters are a little different shaped on the top, but will the Huyosen starter fit on the Neotec?

      @jimmyboy95  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should, for the most part, seeing how the screwholes in the case on the neo Tec are in the same spots as the huyosen.
      You will probably have to shave a little off the bottom part of the plastic top cover next to the muffler, but other than that, no big deal. :)

    Very nice review and discussion. The spring assisted starters when they are quality, they are very helpful i feel. Sometimes cranking lots on a saw gets old and tiresome. Im only speaking of the ones with some quality. Between you and me, we need to keep making these saws popular. Brand and manufactures are not necessarily linked. Its the factory that matters, brands can potentially be built in multiple factories, its just a matter of ordering 500. We can order 500 of Jimbos branded saws with our own stickers and everything.

    I own several pro level stihl and echo chain saws. Several years ago I was curious about these clone saws and decided to buy one. Since buying one it has been my go to saw, which I have used to cut many many cords of wood without any problems and since my first one I bought, I have purchased two more. I keep one in whatever vehicle I am driving and one I use as a loaner for whenever one of my neighbors or friends needs a chainsaw. Since these 75 year old shoulders don't have the strength they once had, I really like the easy start feature. You have to get used to working these starters, but once this happens, they are great. Even my small framed wife can start it.I actually have one of my Echos that has a so called easy start system that is no where as easily started. I have never had one break, but I do keep spares just in case. I often look at all of my chainsaws sitting on the shelf and wonder if I will ever use them again. I do, however, every six months start everyone of them and change out the fuel with fresh ethanol free fuel mix. Looking back, I just think about all the money I could have saved, but going back fifty or sixty years ago, these were not available.

    I just bought a NEOTEC NCS6200 62cc / 20" bar. I'll be posting a video of it in action this week. You video among 3 or 4 others helped me settle on the brand. Seems the Neo's are getting really good reviews. And I couldn't beat the price. I got it off their eBay store, used an automatic coupon. It was to my door in 3 days.. CA to Abq NM for $118.34. I couldn't believe it.

      I bought the 6200 also I just did I minor muffler mod on mine and measured it's bore with a caliper through the exhaust port.throughtvmy calc it's a 45.8mm bore so probably a 55ish cc. No complaints about power. It's very comparable to my 61cc Stihl. I love how easy it starts.

      @@69pantz I bought a 6200 as well. It developed a severe oil leak and Neotec refused to do anything about it. Ran their warranty out without honoring it.

    I apreciate your insights on the clone saws. I got a really good deal on a customer returned Neotec 660 clone and it milled a ton of slabs with a 42 inch bar and never skipped a beat. For around 250 bucks I couldnt be more impressed. I also assembled a 288 farmertec clone that strips oiler gears after about 30 seconds of use. So I am 50/50. I will continue to try them out and put them to use and as of now i still think the clones are a good deal overall (you can buy about three or four for the price of one OEM saw). One question though... I can't find the model that theses saws immitate. It looks like husky plastic but the handle looks almost like an echo. What saw is the OEM equivelant?

      I came to the conclusion that they're probably based on a Zenoah G455.

    It is 54.5cc. The piston is 45mm, the bore is 45.2mm. There is a 62cc but about 90% of the time they just lie and put a 58cc(54.5cc) jug on it. I got one of the very generic ones that says Chainsaw 5800 on the cover and Professional on the bar. I also find it interesting that the ads usually say semi chisel chains come with it, but they are obviously full chisel. The chain SUCKS if you blunt too many of the chisels. I finally got my old saw running. A Xbull 62cc (54.5cc). The old one has a primer bulb. The newer ones delete it like yours both are. The old carb has 3 lines, new one has 2. You can fit a carb from a 372XP on it with a few modifications mainly to the carb, but to take advantage of it you MUST upgrade the crap stock intake. That's the same on both saws. There is a guy on ebay that sells them.
