Watching DIO dissolve in the sunlight actually got me emotional. As the sun hit his body, I realized it wasn’t his body at all, but Jonathan’s body. That was Jonathan’s body being destroyed. For DIO to use Jonathan in this manner and taunt, threaten, and violate the legacy of Jonathan’s bloodline is so tragic. I just wish that when DIO was out out into the sun only his head would dissolve and Jonathan’s body would remain so his family could conduct a proper burial for him. That would have been so epic. At least we now know that Jonathan can finally rest in peace and that his legacy bloodline is built to withstand even the most treacherous evil. 2:10
I don't usually comment but when I do is something like this. Honestly one of my favorite JOJO dissecting videos amazing job keep it up whenever you can

Wonder of U makes sense with individualism. Based on the Elvis song of what makes someone so special, the idea of individualism making everyone unique and a wonder to behold in a way, makes sense by having everyone in JoJo show how wonderful they are in their own unique individual ways
All I'm hoping for is that the writing and story is better than the 2nd half of jojolion, As I'm excited since this is the first new part and along with most jojo fans we'll be experiencing at the beginning
I thought the second half of JJL was the best half, and I know a lot of people who agree with me on that, but it is quite split in regards to opinion of it.
@@Wavpro It's a lot more punchy than the first half, but it completely changes the entire tone of the part and left me, personally, feeling like it was rushed despite being so long.
I personally love the second half of Jojolion, that final run of chapters were amazing to me. I get Shuck and others opinions on T man(Well call antagonist this for spoilers), WoU, etc but I love the nature vs nurture dynamic between Gappy and T man personally and it does feel rushed and chaotic but I personally think that was Araki's point. But that's just my opinion, and I can def understand yours and others.
SPOILERS I'm going to say this at least, the 2nd half did have its good moments like the finale battle between gappy and Tohru, and it's ending. But then stuff like blue Hawaii happens, Tohru just being introduced out of nowhere, killing kyo and mamazuku in what should have been more emotional moments just for me personally to feel nothing much outside of shock and surprise, nothing with Holly is resolved, I will say it wasn't the worst but it definitely wasn't on my top 4 jojos parts if I could take the 2 half and separate them
I had the feeling/suspicion that "individualism" and "taking control of fortune/fate" were the themes of the new trilogy. The contrast between Jonathan and Johnny already sets a different idea of what it means to be a Joestar in the SBRverse, its not about justice and following a greater force, but pushing through and following your own dreams (kinda like Giorno, I suppose). The fact that both parts also feature "fate-changing" McGuffins now means that fate doesn't favor the Just, it's simply something available to anyone willing to take it. However, I had never analized these themes with as much depth as you did and now I have even more apreciation for Araki's writing.
Bro I just happened to come across this video on my timeline. I am a huge fan of JoJo and I have to say this is the deepest theory I have heard on the topic. I think the author would applaud your efforts in this video. Hell I have to applaud you for this! Just off of this video I had to subscribe. Thank You for making this video.
When the main villain throws JoJo off a cliff and JOJOLANDS Is still my favorite meme of the part even if there is so little information... I hope it's something Araki is proud of when it's over :)
I love this theory and the rehash and restructuring of the previous parts. Another thing I kind of noticed, and it may sound a little crazy but, So if Jojo part 7 was a retelling of Part 1, and part 8 was a weird part 2(stonemen)/4(morioh), then do you think part 9 will be a retelling of part 3 at least stylistically/thematically? Along that line, 7 can only be divided by itself by 1, 8 by 2 and 4, and 9 by 3. idk just some things I noticed that is either intentional or unintentional knowing Araki.
I personally like to think part 9 will be a mix of parts 5 and 6, mainly because I think they'll be visiting Florida and Italy, and with such scenery it would be obvious to call back to the og parts. Actually, maybe it will be a retelling of part 3. It will still probably have a lot of elements from part 5 and 6, but the idea of traveling the world is definitely something Araki seems interested in, so I'm putting my chips in an alternate part 3 with 5 and 6 elements.
Araki already retoled part 3's whole arc seperately on both sbr and jojolion so I'd rather it just focus on parts 5 and 6, but mainly on 6 since part 5 is kinda a part 3 reboot Part 7 was already a retelling of parts 1 to 3. It had Part 1 with johnnys past and relationship with diego. Part 2 with johnny and gyro's relationship more similar to joseph/caesar, gyro's backstory and name being caesar, magenta as alt kars. And Part 3 with the travelling across the map plot while assasins are sent by the main bad, alt diego's appearance following part 3's last arc. Part 8 incorporated Part 3's story with the kujo turned yoshikage bloodline, saving holly plot, multiple jotaros (kira, kyo and josuke, which was a fusion of kira and actual josuke counter part, josefumi) and norisuke being similar to old joseph.
@@dildiobrandong9823 Part 8 also incorporated more of part 5 than I think people even realise. Looking at both at the most basic level, both protagonists are a combination of a main JoJo and a main villain from a previous part. Giorno is a combination of DIO and Jonathan, while Josuk8 is a combination of Josuke and Kira. The "monster of the week" element of JoJolion is also more like Part 5 than any other, since the Rock Humans are all a part of a distinct group that share a common goal. Beyond all that though, Part 8 is also clearly inspired by 4, but yet incorporates a lot of ideas from Part 3 (Kei being Jotaro, trying to save Holy, etc). and Part 2 with the Rock Humans basically being new Pillar Men. My point is, I don't think we need to look at the new parts as reinterpretations of specific Parts from the original universe, but more a reorganisation of old ideas that spanned the entirety of the original canon. If Parts 1 and 4 functioned as the "cores" for parts 7 and 8, Part 6 will almost certainly be the "core" for Part 9--but I think thinking of any of the new parts as just "combinations" is reductive. JoJolands could definitely be globe-trotting like Part 3, but have a female convict as the protagonist like in Part 6, while also incorporating the "international gang conspiracy" element of Part 5. It's hard to say really... But personally I'd love to see it START in a prison on a remote island (perhaps the new protag was once a part of the enemy gang?) and for the rug to be suddenly pulled out from under us when the prison is either destroyed or invaded and the Part suddenly blows up into a much bigger story. This is all just mindless speculation, but I think that would be really cool (side note: I'd also love if the main JoJo was a rock human, it'd be a nice continuation of the "dual nature" aspect of Josuk8 and be a nice subversion of the idea that all rock humans are innately evil. That could also draw a parallel between Part 9 and 5, since Giorno showed us that even though DIO's core traits are definitely *conducive* to villainy, they don't *have* to be, and can actually be a great source of heroic strength).
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed on twin JoJos. Along with Gappy showing up MUCH later so Part 9 has an identity of its own. Imagine Gappy meeting old "friends" of Tooru in Part 9. "How exactly do you know Tooru?" "How do you think I ended up in this wheelchair!? "... Oh."
While the stars theory could possibly work, it's been established in SBR that the Saint's Corpse is the one responsible for giving people stands. So maybe, part 9 could be a story about re-collecting the Saint's Corpse. In the end of Part 8, we got a glimpse of Lucy and Joseph Joestar, Lucy being a member of the Speedwagon Foundation, located in USA. Maybe in part 9, the protagonist will learn more about Johnny and Joseph's past in the USA, and he has to collect the Saint's Corpse to cure Holly. But he has to fight against the members of the Speedwagon Foundation itself to collect the corpse. Maybe it could sprinkle in some more details about the Heaven in the alternate trilogy. It would be a neat reference to part 3, part 5, part 6, and part 7
Wow, what a great video. That was actually incredible analysis right there and I love the idea of another international story like part 3 but they're looking for STAR fragments like that's just awesome. (I know it's just speculation but still). Good video
*If your theory is true then the final villain will have a stand that will influence causality* like an abillity i came up with known as 'availant causality'. using time: a persion is reversed in time, this can be 1 second or 10 seconds - quintessentially summoning a duplicate of yourself with the hindsight of the future. meaning you can counter any action. *this would be powerful to counter gold experience's revert to zero, as it would multiple actions, yet to occur in real time*
I always found a bit frustrating when jojo analysts just jumped to the idea that fate and gravity works the same and as prevalent as a theme in alt-universe as in the first 6 parts. Good to hear someone smart looked deeper into that other angle.
This theory gave me many ideas for a story I want to write, thank you! Individualism is such a great theme for a story, much better than the concept of fate since it does anything but limit your story. Definitely opens more avenues which I think is great, and I'd like to see more videos like this from you since it was both informative and easy to digest
More than anything I bet you there's more than one JoJo in part 9, Joseph in the past and then a switch halfway to the future, or Joseph and a JoJo in the future somehow working side by side through time like the notebook with ghosts that understand atmospheric pressure and physics. I remember being so excited at the Joshu string theory thing, and then it never happened, maybe it will now lol
This makes me realized something.. in the end of stone ocean, made in heaven's power is to reset the universe and control fate. The universe got reset the same time pucci died, fate disappeared, since pucci is the only person who can change fate. If the fate controller is gone, fate will be left away forever until someone poke it and awaken fate. Like the wonder of U, JoJoLands might just be the jojo of everything, fate, indivisisgdg-(or something idk english), bless, bloodlines and curses. I may be stretching in some parts but whatever.
@@mr.keleton9710 I never said that. But I can still make an argument. Made in heaven didn't create any alternative universe but are we really sure that there are any alternative universe in the first place? 'The alternative universe' could've been a brand new universe after the universe that made in heaven reset been destroyed that has the essence of the people in the old universe into it (you may argue that the universe recreate itself is going to be just the same with made in heaven's ability since it increases the speed of the universe and reset itself, but we do not know the full ability of made in heaven, it could've been made in heaven's 'reset' ability not the universe recreating itself)
I always figured the lands part of the name was about the Devil’s Palms setting themselves in certain important areas of land, or maybe even theme parks.
This is a shockingly well thought out theory, hats off to you shuck Though now that you bring up this new theme for JoJo, you've got me thinking that the Life, Liberty and Property theme could be applied to all of the previous trilogies as well. The Joestar mansion, stone mask, and Jonathan's normal life (property) was Dio's primary motivation for doing the things he did in the beginning. Kars' desire to free his people from the confines of their own biology and detriment to the sun/hamon (liberty) is what lead him to creating the stone mask in the first place. DIO's desire to end the Joestar lineage and attain immortality by fusing to Jonathan's body permanently (life) as well as Jotaro and Joseph wanting to save the life of Holly is what kicked of the trip to Egypt. The livelihoods, friendships, and serenity of Morioh (property) that were shaken up by Kira's existence is what the Duwang gang fought to save. Golden Wind, a part that devotes itself to life, whether it be through friendships, sacrifice, or it's beauty and fragility life comes in every corner of the part. Hell, even Giorno's ability is to create life. Lastly we have Stone ocean, which is a part about Jolyne's struggle against a fate that she did not choose, and where Pucci/DIO's main goal was to achieve their version of heaven (revealing everyone's fates to themselves to overcome the worries of the unknown) so I feel comfortable calling this the liberty part of the trilogy. I do like the idea that part 9 would follow this same motif, but maybe as the Property part of the new universe it won't be as literal as an actual piece of land, like how the lion in JoJolion was supposed to signify that Josuke was a blessing to the Higashikata family. Or maybe it will be as straightforward as that, who knows
That's a really nice theory but I've actually heard a theory that is actually insane. Kars obtains stand in space achieves stand and goes into different universe into this one then he comes and attacks and the protagonists from other dimension come back like through some portals and they all fight Kars. Jojo Endgame
IMO, its revolved around Dio mostly, with parts. 1-2 Dios and the stone mask origins. 3-4 Dios curse to Holly, and Josuke. 5-6 Dios legacy Giornio, and Pucci. Now with alternate universe each is different. 7. If Dio(Diego) wasn't the main baddy. 8. Whats a JoJo without Dio, hence Gabby is lost. 9. ?
One thing to note about the theme of fate not being a primary is when Johnny and Gyro beat Poccoloco and Hey ya in a race when it was using its power. This shows that our protagonists are stronger than Heyas' luck power, which means overcoming fate in a power scaling metric.
Part 10: Polnareff lands Polnareff finally makes his dream come true and starts a city called Polnareff land like a amusement park and all the JoJo's and the rest of the characters meet there bad have a good time
Couldn’t disagree less with the statements about jojolion’s ending in the beginning but this is a great video! I enjoy seeing the extreme variety in peoples opinions on Jojo parts
I’m pretty sure that Part 9 is going to be a big ass anniversary finale to the series akin to something like Kamen Rider Decade/ Zi-O but with Araki’s twist with it. Either it’s the main character going across various what if scenarios while stopping the destruction of the Joestar bloodline across reality, or it’s a timely whimey adventure with the MC gathering characters from across different parts while getting involved in his own personal conflicts stemming from other realities. Either way, it’s gonna get fucking crazy
I know as much JJBA lore as the connoisseur to the next, but my mind was completely shattered as to how much more there actually is to the meaning of this.
Stone Ocean isn't named as such because Aquarium is a stone atop an ocean. It's called like that because the prison is a Stone Ocean. It's metaphorical. It's stone walls surround you at every end, suffocating you, and dragging you into it's dark depths.
I think in part 9 Jotaro should show up in the background for one panel just trying to find out where he is as a little nod to the joke that jotaro is in every part in some way.
I remember hearing that Araki said he wanted to keep writing jojo for as long as he possibly can, I could have made that up but i think I remember seeing that. so if this is true its safe to say JojoLands wont be the last part
Part 8 went on for 10 years. If Part 9 follows the same thing, Araki would be 72 when it finishes. I’d love more JoJo too but we don’t want him to die while writing it
Jojolands will be in Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, 2 more universes, and the stand planet. The main character will be the half brother of Josefumi Kujo, his stand will be named beat it and will have the ability of changing agregatical states if matter, it's cry will be "BETAH". An arrow from another universe will be present, along with "The purple stone of asia"( The red stone of aja )which will now be able to transfer stands using it's reflections
I just want to see the og universe revived by a cosmic force of some kind like DIO Ascended or Pucci hell even Valentine leading to a novel or game maybe even a movie
Steel Ball Run was a mix of Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency, with a mysterious power and locations. JoJolion is a mix of Stardust Crusaders and Diamond is Unbreakable, with a villian of the week (month?), and well, Morioh. JoJolands might be a mix of Vento Aureo and Stone Ocean, dealing with organized crime and prisons. Maybe.
I like tooru he’s a fun villain but ya know what I don’t like? How all of the supporting cast died, I mean fine calamity and all but can you imagine being one of the most powerful stand users only to bleed out to a hair spray can
I don’t think part 9 will be the final part. I think part 10 will be. Because I’ve noticed that the main villains stand comes back exactly 3 parts later. The world is in part 7, killer queen in part 8, so AU king crimson in part 9 and like AU made in heaven or something for part 10 and that’s when it ends

But then stuff like blue Hawaii happens, Tohru just being introduced out of nowhere, killing kyo and mamazuku in what should have been more emotional moments just for me personally to feel nothing much outside of shock and surprise, nothing with Holly is resolved, I will say it wasn't the worst but it definitely wasn't on my top 4 jojos parts if I could take the 2 half and separate them
@@MaxiemumKarnage I feel the same as well along with a few other things
HE NAILED IT, THIS MAN COOKED
EVEN THE LAVA CAN BE SOMETHING RELATED TO THE THEORY OF STARS AND BLESSINGS AT THE END OF THE VIDEO
You had me at "Beautiful Duwang"! But really, great video! I'm hoping it involves piracy in some form, that would be pretty different.
It is literally about property you were right this is so hype
Bro I just happened to come across this video on my timeline. I am a huge fan of JoJo and I have to say this is the deepest theory I have heard on the topic. I think the author would applaud your efforts in this video. Hell I have to applaud you for this! Just off of this video I had to subscribe. Thank You for making this video.
I love how this video just made me love jojo and especially part 7 even more
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT FAMILY TREE WITH KAKYOIN X HOLY 😭😭😭🙏
When the main villain throws JoJo off a cliff and JOJOLANDS
Is still my favorite meme of the part even if there is so little information...
Araki already retoled part 3's whole arc seperately on both sbr and jojolion so I'd rather it just focus on parts 5 and 6, but mainly on 6 since part 5 is kinda a part 3 reboot
Part 7 was already a retelling of parts 1 to 3.
Plot twist:
Araki is the main antagonist of Jojolands
I didn't know I could like part 7 even more
1:31 man really ignored the fact that Jonathan and Dio are phantom blood because they’re brothers who aren’t related to each other?
I mean you weren’t far off with the whole “property and rocks” idea
3:25 this man is playing Sly Cooper 2 music!! Thought we wouldn't notice, but we did.
Did you just edit your thumbnail image? That’s the new leak for the new protagonist
Probably
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed on twin JoJos.
Along with Gappy showing up MUCH later so Part 9 has an identity of its own. Imagine Gappy meeting old "friends" of Tooru in Part 9.
"How exactly do you know Tooru?"
"How do you think I ended up in this wheelchair!?
Good video
I just realised Kakyoin is Holly's husband on the family tree, lol
When I saw your character I whipped it out so fast
*If your theory is true then the final villain will have a stand that will influence causality*
like an abillity i came up with known as 'availant causality'.
using time: a persion is reversed in time, this can be 1 second or 10 seconds - quintessentially summoning
a duplicate of yourself with the hindsight of the future. meaning you can counter any action.
3:50 I see... The master thief and racoon is still in our heads
Awesome video
Definitely one of the best JoJo theories I've heard, I'll say that.
Love the casual thumbnail edit. Shuckmeister = Araki lol
finally being able to use part 6 anime for videos make them so much better
Best part is it actually makes sense when you think about it
this is the best video you've ever made. thank you
Thanks for the comment! I really appreciate it and look forward to more videos like this in the future
Dude good theory! Keep up the jojo videos, love them
This theory gave me many ideas for a story I want to write, thank you! Individualism is such a great theme for a story, much better than the concept of fate since it does anything but limit your story. Definitely opens more avenues which I think is great, and I'd like to see more videos like this from you since it was both informative and easy to digest
looking forward to it!
Theories with part 8 are so cool , god the single attack theory is so cool
how the fuck are you so accurate wtf
Did you just change the thumbnail?
I like how you just randomly started blasting black ops 2 music
This makes me realized something.. in the end of stone ocean, made in heaven's power is to reset the universe and control fate. The universe got reset the same time pucci died, fate disappeared, since pucci is the only person who can change fate. If the fate controller is gone, fate will be left away forever until someone poke it and awaken fate. Like the wonder of U, JoJoLands might just be the jojo of everything, fate, indivisisgdg-(or something idk english), bless, bloodlines and curses.
I may be stretching in some parts but whatever.
But this Alternate Universes weren't create by Made in Heaven
The term individuality also fits D4C because it is unique... Literally.
Probably Jojolands will be based inside a plane full of snakes and how the protagonist need to land
I've been really getting back into Jojo recently nice theory
This is a shockingly well thought out theory, hats off to you shuck
Though now that you bring up this new theme for JoJo, you've got me thinking that the Life, Liberty and Property theme could be applied to all of the previous trilogies as well.

"greed is unlimited, freedom is a limited resource.
extra large for you means less for me, there'll be less for me."
lyrics from a song lol.
9. ?
bro the "milf hunter" for kakyoin at 2:35 had me dying
One thing to note about the theme of fate not being a primary is when Johnny and Gyro beat Poccoloco and Hey ya in a race when it was using its power. This shows that our protagonists are stronger than Heyas' luck power, which means overcoming fate in a power scaling metric.
Part 10: Polnareff lands
Polnareff finally makes his dream come true and starts a city called Polnareff land like a amusement park and all the JoJo's and the rest of the characters meet there bad have a good time
if polnareffland is not in jojolands im starting a riot
Either way, it’s gonna get fucking crazy
giorno
That doesnt sound like araki at all tho, eyes of heaven already kind of did that
bro was right
I know as much JJBA lore as the connoisseur to the next, but my mind was completely shattered as to how much more there actually is to the meaning of this.
Stone Ocean isn't named as such because Aquarium is a stone atop an ocean. It's called like that because the prison is a Stone Ocean. It's metaphorical. It's stone walls surround you at every end, suffocating you, and dragging you into it's dark depths.
Funny referance in part 3 that leads into part 6, thoth shows Jotaro dying the same way he does in stone ocean
I think in part 9 Jotaro should show up in the background for one panel just trying to find out where he is as a little nod to the joke that jotaro is in every part in some way.
Jojolands could also be about protecting the main Jojo’s country from a villain, like in part 5.
I’d love more JoJo too but we don’t want him to die while writing it
Nice reference to Ohara's the best one piece theory you'll ever watch I guess
This theory goes pretty far to make me appreciate jojos even more
steel ball run is actually just a celebratory horse race named by the host, stephen steel

From where are you pulling these jojolands fact
they made it the fuck up
i just read chapter 1 of JJL yesterday and when you said "its gonna be about property" i saw instantly what you were talking about
10/10!!!
How all of the supporting cast died, I mean fine calamity and all but can you imagine being one of the most powerful stand users only to bleed out to a hair spray can
Using the music from SLY! Amazing,

this is why I like jojo. it speaks about the truth behind the characters through themes
This is just insane
I like how in the Joestar family tree, Kakyoin is connected to Holly as a Milf hunter
i mean...
Remember when we all thought part 8 would be the final part
