I strongly disagree about Traitor's Requiem being instrumentally "weaker." It's my favorite along with Great Days & Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town. And I'm someone who listens to a lot of metal, rock & fusion music so yeah. But this video is 10/10 high quality content nontheless. I'm legit gonna be heartbroken if we don't get 2nd OP track for Stone Ocean.
26:39 if you look at the ending of the second batch opening, you can see Jolyne hugging Jotaro, but she's also getting on his back. One shared fear I have with you is that the opening will be the same with a slightly different ending, but doesn't it look like that Jolyne is getting on Jotaro's back to make that iconic manga cover pose? And will it appear at the slightly different ending of the third batch? Or will there be a new opening with that pose at the end to tie the string together?
You know at first I wasn’t sure about Heaven Falling down. But after seeing the 2nd version and listening a few more times it’s one of my favorites. Still sucks C-Moon just gets left out like that though…
Gladly, you were wrong, and we did get an AMAZING new opening, with the expected JoFoe interactions, as well as a special edition for the very ending. ;)
24:15 Shuck, kishida kyoudan & the akeboshi rockets other openings are named after the shows. It's not Netflix laziness it's a theme with that particular band.
Of all the openings, Stand Proud speaks to me the most on an emotional level. From the 14/10 opening riff showing Jonathan, young Joseph and finally Jotaro, then with a tiny insert of Jonathan smiling as he closes his eyes (argh! This part gets me for some reason), and the whole mood of the opening saying it's not some fun adventure, this is some grave shit going down and these dudes mean business. Sono Chi No Sadame is my 2nd favorite opening for how, well, "JOJO" it is, absolutely spectacular, extravagant and adventurous.
The final opening had me in tears🥲 It's so beautiful, and I'm glad I'm part of this beautiful yet very bizarre journey. Thank you Araki Sensei, thank you David Production, and thank you the OG Joestar Family 😭
I remember watching this the day after it came out, the day i caught COVID, and being pleasantly suprised when i saw Heaven's Falling Down. I binged the whole batch after that, and was then surprised seeing V2.
Netflix expecting you to press the "skip intro/skip credits" button on JoJo should be telling enough of how unaware they are of what fans are here for. We're watching a whole piece of art, in its entirety.
I hope we get a new opening for Stone Ocean but I'm not so sure. But think about it. If they had two openings planned would they give us one during the second batch to the end OR at the end? Or maybe it's just Netflix and they don't wanna give us a new opening at all They atleast have to give us a Made in Heaven version during thr finale

I'm late to the party, but coming to this video with the hindsight of the batch 3 release is interesting. The last OP is original, AND has the villain takes over thing AND spicy callbacks to the Joestar bloodline
a good opening will keep me watching a story and might even inflate just how much i like the show itself. while ive enjoyed what ive watched so far for sure (mostly), kick back alone has kept me obsessed with chainsaw man to where i ended up buying a shirt while i was dragged out black friday shopping the other day. and thats before mentioning chainsaw blood or tablet or any other stand out ending (thank you mappa for 12 endings i really hope it was worth your money to make it happen). as someone that still enjoys stone ocean's op, albeit in the bottom third, no new opening for batch 2 was such a bruh moment that i flat out expected a fanmade second opening given jojo's reputation. if SBR got a really good fanmade opening, i feel we will get them down the line. and i'm a fairly recent jojo fan too, only having been watching it since last december, and the openings still have the grab to new viewers they did during their original releases. even the ones i didnt really like at first grew on me. i was watching with a friend who got me into it, so we did skip openings for time purposes sometimes, but it always hurt to do so.

It feels like the part four openings are all in the perspective of different characters. Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town is Koichi because in the beginning, everyone was bizarre to him because he didn't have a stand until a few episodes in. Chase is obviously Kira, showing how he'll stop Josuke and continue his killing, as well as showing his contrast to Josuke. Great Days is Josuke and the rest of the gang, acting as the protectors of Morioh, also represented by the imagery showing most major characters.

the new op is fucking fire
@@cheems3625 Yeah it's awesome. All the callbacks insane
22:18 nah he pissed me off with this one.
there’s no way you can actually believe that. did you listen to the instrumental? that shit is H E A V E N L Y.
Oh boy were you wrong about Stone Ocean's last ending, and I'm glad you were. They really went all out.
26:24 "similar to this volume cover"
...I love how he doesn't even show the cover he's referencing. Nice work Shuck, great job.
How do you feel now my friend
I am very glad to say that your final statements on the potential lack of a new OP have aged like milk
You know at first I wasn’t sure about Heaven Falling down. But after seeing the 2nd version and listening a few more times it’s one of my favorites. Still sucks C-Moon just gets left out like that though…
This was a great watch. And thankfully you were wrong predicting the 3rd Stone Ocean batch being the same song, that new op was a banger.
"considering i'm right 99.7% of the time, there won't be a new jojo opening🤓🤓🤓"
Fr, the bitchy bitch he is about Stone Ocean lol
🤣🤣🤣
@@nickzx1082 yep he doesn't know 😂
Gladly, you were wrong, and we did get an AMAZING new opening, with the expected JoFoe interactions, as well as a special edition for the very ending. ;)
24:15 Shuck, kishida kyoudan & the akeboshi rockets other openings are named after the shows. It's not Netflix laziness it's a theme with that particular band.
If that is true then I should have done more research on it
The sketchy sections in bloody Stream and Dio in the end of the world are just 👌
Of all the openings, Stand Proud speaks to me the most on an emotional level.
You know a song is that GOOD when a guy can have it as his alarm and not get sick of it for 3 YEARS
Heaven's falling down made this rant age bad so fast
It wasn’t really a rant though. It was mostly educational and only near the end did he talk about the final OP.
Great video, I hope you make an update talking about Stone Ocean's second opening!
You have to make a video on your opinion about the last opening and the sound effects of it….. 😭😭😭 I’m dying to know what you thought.
Glad you were wrong about the 3rd batch OP. I think the variation is the best we've gotten!
The final part 6 opening is the coolest imo; music wise, part 1 is the best and 2nd in terms of coolness.
Or maybe it's just Netflix and they don't wanna give us a new opening at all
They atleast have to give us a Made in Heaven version during thr finale
I think the reason we didn’t get it in part 2 is only because we’ll, it’s still the prison arch. We now are leaving. Part 3 will 100% have a new one.
@@yumithehunter6292
Hopefully
Because the opening does NOT fit this final batch
@@EmporioEnthusiast oh 100% not. 1000000% not. I am the 2% that like stone ocean and chase. But like. I prey we get a new one because it would make sense. Netflix sucks. But either way even if we don’t… I still love this anime even if it’s Netflix
@@yumithehunter6292
Yeah what it comes down to is the anime being good. And sinc batch 2 was really good I have no doubt
If we don't get a new OP with a Pucci Made in Heaven effect for the last EP I am legit gonna chimp out.
I'm gonna need your opinion on "Heaven's Falling Down" after the incorrect prediction. I'm almost positive you loved it.
*ahem*
HEAVEN’S FALLING DOWN
SORA O OTOSHITEMO
NOZOMI O KUDAKŌ
KYŌKI NO KAMI NO
DESTINY IS MINE
OSORE SHITTEMO
SUBETE NO MIRAI
TOGIRENU YŌ NI
TOMOSU HONŌ GA
INOCHI NO KIRAMEKI
welp, waiting for a heaven's falling down video :)
I don’t get why some people hate Chase. They like to make the claim “It doesn’t fit Jojo!” When Jojo changes a lot and sometimes doesn’t even feel like the same show.
To think we wont get a new opening is like thinking that shuckmeister will actually enjoy stone ocean for once 😂
Should’ve just waited till the final batch released lol
"... it's a joy beyond none other, a gold experience, that is made in heaven" i had to pause the video cuz i just couldnt fucking believe it, so great!
7:42 Johnny is just sitting in the corner crying rn
I was too focused on the video that I almost didn't understand what is your comment about.
My favorite cripple ☠️
11:34 BRO WHEN I FIRST WATCHED THE OP I WAS FREAKING OUT AT THAT PART😭👌
Okay so I just saw the third opening: banger new song, 3D modeling like the first three seasons, and the song title isn’t Stone Ocean.
I think something about JoJo op's that makes them feel so special is the fact that literally ALL of them are greato. Like my least favourite,Fighting Gold,is still like a high C Tier.
Sono Chi No Sadame is without a doubt my favourite,it not only has amazing visuals but the vocals and lyrics absolutely bang, everytime I return to Part 1 it just gets me so hyped to follow Jonathan's bizarre adventure or when I go back to Part 4 I feel really happy and chill hearing Great Days
After watching Part six, I must say the third batch's opening definitely did not disappoint.
5:50 - 7:42 it really is a banger. I have it my Spotify playlist. Ngl I could legit hear the lyrics without there being any lyrics.
I thought the EDM Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town version was for episodes where Koichi was the Main Character
bro this was such a good video for no reason
Just saw the final op and ITS MADE IN HEAVEN
3:51 "a Gold Experience that is Made in Heaven." I see what you did there
Don’t worry, this is one of the rare moments where Heaven Falling Down is a good thing.
