I’ve lived in Wisconsin all my life. Great people, great food, great boat engines, great fishing and great fun. FYI: a very important thing was overlooked each day. The one who catches the first fish is suppose to buy ice cream for all fishermen in the group. Wisconsin has some of the best ice cream to hold you over until you deep fry those walleyes. The UP was taken from the WI territory and given to MI to stop a war with Ohio over the port of Toledo. It was rich in mining resources in the past. Check snowfalk totals in Houghton/H ancock. 200 inches is a light winter.

Michigan is God's fishery. If you look at my state(michigan) the bottom half is shaped like a mitten. The top part or Upper Peninsula looks like a fish. And when you look at both it looks like a mitten grabbing a fish out of the water😉. I'm from a little town called Ishpeming MI. I hope you enjoy you're time in my beautiful state.
