I was sad about Mark passing too. I like a bunch of other folks from the area were praying for his recovery & keeping up with progress in the FB group for the lake. He was such an amazing guy, a community fixture in the area & a just a true legend of Lake Fork.
RIP Mark. My condolences to your friend. For this video even though there were not many fish catches it goes to show that the struggle is real during the winter. You won't catch as many but when you do its a high percentage that it could be a mondo. Thanks for the tips LFG.

Thank you for posting a "real" video that shows how tough cold water fishing can be. Makes me feel a little less miserable about my failed cold water attempts. The tips and lure suggestions are great. Sometimes the fish just don't cooperate.
Try an x rap and pause it for a super long time like 10 seconds and small twitches in usually does the trick here in co when the water gets in the 40 to 50 range

I enjoy your fishing and cooking videos. I thought I would offer a suggestion for cooking fish which offers a much lighter coating and holds less cooking oil. Instead of using cornmeal or even cornmeal/flour mix, use potato flakes. I think you will like this as an alternate even if you only use it occasionally
