Love Lake Belton and Stillhouse. We used to fish and boat around there all the time. Love the clear water and rocky cliff shoreline. Thank you for fishing there and giving the location. I hope to get back there someday!

Cowhouse creek feeds Belton. It has 500 +lbs Sturgeon plus.catfish that you can stick your size 9 western boot in at the local Rod and Gun club

That catch was amazing !!! You could see the big smallmouth knock the smaller one completely out of the water when it hit the bait . Love your vids , keep up the great work .
Belton and Stillhouse were my go to when I lived at fort Hood. Take the boat to the mouth of the Lampases where it gets into Stillhouse by the bridge. It's been a while since I've been there, but there were tons of stick-ups and grass we used to regularly catch 4-6# largemouth. Also, check into getting a post pass and fishing license for the base. There's 13 small bodies of waters on post that have great fishing.

I caught a 2.13lbs smallmouth on the blue gil finese jig w/crack n craw natural trailer. It was awesome. That's my PB smallmouth, but it fought better than my PB 7lbs large mouth.

The white bass fishing is pretty good on Belton
Man you should come fish stillhouse hollow. Its loaded with grass,trees, and rock. 7lbers caught weekly and bigger. Small pond loaded with monster bass in a hydrilla rich environment.

Dude thats crazy. I literally live off of Lake Belton at one of the camping areas on post. Had I known you where here I would have looked for you. You have to fish still house hollow though. Supposedly way better bass just pressured!

Googan baits are legit their craw in natural color is the best.
Love, your Garmin setup. Have you done the trolling motor update to 2.50 yet? It's a pain to push the software through the app but it's has some nice new features. I would hope you could start incorporating more Garmin force and fish finder use in your content. I have everything you have on my new multispecies boat and could always use some help getting the most out of my electronics.
