Sounds exactly like it does on a stock wrx (which is awesome). Once you add a catted/catless downpipe it'll sound even better with more turbo spool. You can always replace the midpipe too to make it even louder.

Resonator has minimal restrictions, it will not make the car louder very much. As he stated resonator is to stop certain tones like raspyness and droning. The muffler is where the sound is suppressed.
To much drone with the resonators removed if you do a lot of hwy driving in my experience and not really any performance gains.

Sounds great! Reminds me very much of my Yonaka catback I have on my Ek hatch. Its deep but not too loud, I really enjoy it because there is none of that Stereotypical honda rasp which I hate sooooo much.

It’s definitely gonna be loud af with the catless downpipe I have a 2015 civic like ur dad also and wasn’t satisfied with my invidia n1 then got a skunk 2 catless downpipe and it did the job 🤟🏽

got an invida q300 on my dc5r. best choice i ever did. Goes loud when i want it and quiet when i cruise. Doesn't attract too much attention from cops too =D

Hey Dustin, play around with the car setting. If it has a shift light and rev limiter like the Sti. You can change and set the shift light at a higher rpm.

So I used to have a 07 si. My car did the same thing with the revving. Try putting in first. E brake off. And roll forward a bit and see if that lets you rev higher? Lemme know man.
