Bro they legit did! It was one of the first Xbox Series X only titles when the X|S launched, I know because I bought it. Except it was the original Bright Memory, the one that she was talking about at the beginning that was only like 40 mins, and had the dumb Devil May Cry style ratings and shit. My question is, why did Xbox act like they were going to be supporting BM Infinite and releasing it on Series X, but now it's literally like they've never mentioned it before, and nobody else is talking about it being an "Xbox Exclusive". It's just PC and that's it. I feel like I'm getting Mandela effected here... wtf happened to this game launching on Series X??
one of the freshest first person shooters ive seen in a long time. love how theyve integrated melee combat. first person games desperately need to move on from only being able to shoot stuff, the genre needs more diversity in its gameplay and the dev of this game is moving in the right direction
@Nicolas No Syndicate for PS3 was an amazing pin of the RTS game from back in the day. It was a real time FPS hacking and shooting game with a lot of fun from beginning to end.
1:55 putting on shoes animation when shoes are already on lol. And I can't get over the protagonist blank stare whenever they show her face...either way I hope this game sells enough copies to make a newer, more detailed game...and no, I'm not a game developer, I'm a consumer/customer so no, I couldn't do a better job. Anyway I hope this game succeeds.
Seems like this game could be really improved by working with a team of people rather than doing it all solo. It's impressive that they did it all themselves, but this could really be an amazing game with more developers behind it.
I don't think it's a bad game. It's a really good one. At least it has wayy better concepts and new types of FPS mechanisms than COD or BF period. Solid 7 from me and could've been an 8/10 if it was 10 times as big as the current game time.

Actually, it wasn't made by a single person; hence the controversy. Large part of the game was put together using third party assets, of which the developer had not paid for. I do believe they eventually bought the stolen assets, but only on the account of the game being successful.
I know the person that made this game should be the head of a development company EA need to hire this person then maybe will get some good games because this person is raw talent God-given!!!!!!

I bought bright memory infinite on my ps5 because I really like the shadow warrior games. This is sure not to disappoint. Just wish it were a more lengthy campaign.

(As well as resident evil 3) With that being said I don't like 300 hour games that are bloated for no reason. I generally only buy games if I can get an hour of entertainment per dollar I spent. The farthest I will stretch that rule is $2 per hour of entertainment. But if you enjoy getting bad value for your games and wearing it as mark of pride knock yourself out. Also if you're on console and don't understand how much cheaper games on PC are I feel for you.
really enjoyed this title, just a few bugs that i found (one section the pistol had unlimited ammo so made the section very easy and the giant boss clipped through the floor and was stuck making the fight a walk in the park) for £14.99 you really cant go wrong

I feel like this was a very under-appreciative review. The fact that this is created by one person is insane enough on its own. But leaving that aside, I think this review was always leaning towards a more critical side and wasn't balanced. Will have to wait for Skillup's review to get a proper assessment.

Yes he only developed the demo by himself, and stole a lot of the initial assets too. He replaced the stolen assets and got a team to develop the new version.

Interesting release, but for obvious reasons this just feels like they are selling you a demo instead of what could’ve been a fully fleshed out game. If it was developed by one person, and the assets used were all taken from other sources, then why was there even a reason to sell this on console when the gameplay last just as long as a literal demo. The idea of monetizing test runs of what could be future releases just feels scummy and probably not the intention of the actual developer. We could’ve had a proper release of this 3 years later with plot, characters, customization, and even more promising things, but all this is doing is showing off what one guy can do with a game engine that matches crywares, crisis game series. Overall from a gameplay standpoint and graphics, it does its job but idk if they’re trying to sell a game here or just trying to sell you temporary visual dopamine.

Go "back"? How long have you been playing games? Hyper-attractive female Fighters characters like these were always a thing in media. Lara Croft? Chun Li? Cammy? That's the 90s. Dungeons and Dragons Book/Scenario Covers with female Fighters/Barbarians/Amazons who are wearing barely anything but breast armor and a loin cloth over their crotch since the 70s. Comic book covers with Female heroes with spray-painted "outfits" so you didn't even have to switch to an adult mag to squeeze one out later. It's never been about realism but about wish fulfillment for horny teenagers. This isn't new at all. If you think this is unrealistic, sure, you can just chose to play something else. It's not like this game is worth your money or time. But "lack of realism" is just a silly reason for not playing a game. Most moves your character does in video games (including bright memory infinite) are extremely unrealistic. Doesn't matter if this was a dude instead of that hyper attractive chick. Saying "oh she's only 105 pounds, but this 170 pound guy could do it" when swinging a sword his own size in some Dark Souls or Final Fantasy game to slay a friggin' dragon isn't exactly the most waterproof argument either.

It’s a video game; your brain must not be too rational if you can’t grasp the idea that it doesn’t have to make sense to you. If you don’t like it, don’t play it. There are other games out there with badass, tough male characters that you will be able to understand.

After playing it a bit late. I'd definitely give it a 5, 6 at most. I really don't understand the setting, how the enemy forces have SO MANY guys near the black hole, or even the motivations on how or why the mcguffin would "change the world" or who the enemies even are or my own organization. Who is anyone in this world? I thought it would be explained at the end. Honestly thought that the end was were the second act would begin, of maybe 3 Acts. The entire game on Violent was roughly 2 hours long. Combatwise it is a competent FPS, the sword play is ok but the deflection is wonky, and the skills while flashy kinda were uninspiring. Only technical issues I had is wall run not initiating a few times, though this is a wasted feature as you almost will never use it. Overall the design and the game itself are beautiful, for basically an E3 Tech demo.
Nah...rouge-like games are better being in small numbers. I would be buying a lot less games if rouge-like games saturated the market. As someone with OCD, having to continously start over if you die and or have to turn off the game is pretty tedious.
@@Arnell_Mediocrity_Long What does having ocd have anything to do w the roguelight genre? Its not starting over if every time you die in a run you are given upgrades for the next run. Its simply a different form of progression. Ppl are very comfortable w one form of game which is that as long as you dont start from the beginning after death - its not starting over. The first few hrs of a roguelight are meant to be an opportunity to master the mechanics, unlock as many upgrades as possible, learn all the secrets, and get closer to having a winning run. Its fine if you dont like this genre but saying having ocd as the reason you wont play this genre is dumb. You aren’t actually starting over, its all in your head.
I was considering this until I learned it's only an hour?! Also, I hate her ponytail moves as if she's always in space. It's annoying. Still, looks like it's a good foundation to build on. Which I hope it does.
The game play was fantastic. 10/10, my only complaint would be that the grapple was underutilized. With how fast paced the combat can get, it would be fun if you could use it to zip around in combat. The story was a little flat, but I think thats mostly because it was so short. I was hoping the story was gonna pick up but then it was over and I had only just started playing it! Too short is really my only complaint. I'd really like to see more episodes.

It feels like they lost funding mid development and had to shorten it. More of this, more unique enemys levels etc, would have done fairly well imo.

After playing it a bit late. I'd definitely give it a 5, 6 at most. I really don't understand the setting, how the enemy forces have SO MANY guys near the black hole, or even the motivations on how or why the mcguffin would "change the world" or who the enemies even are or my own organization. Who is anyone in this world? I thought it would be explained at the end. Honestly thought that the end was were the second act would begin, of maybe 3 Acts. The entire game on Violent was roughly 2 hours long. Combatwise it is a competent FPS, the sword play is ok but the deflection is wonky, and the skills while flashy kinda were uninspiring. Only technical issues I had is wall run not initiating a few times, though this is a wasted feature as you almost will never use it. Overall the design and the game itself are beautiful, for basically an E3 Tech demo.

Nah...rouge-like games are better being in small numbers. I would be buying a lot less games if rouge-like games saturated the market.
As someone with OCD, having to continously start over if you die and or have to turn off the game is pretty tedious.
@@Arnell_Mediocrity_Long What does having ocd have anything to do w the roguelight genre? Its not starting over if every time you die in a run you are given upgrades for the next run. Its simply a different form of progression. Ppl are very comfortable w one form of game which is that as long as you dont start from the beginning after death - its not starting over. The first few hrs of a roguelight are meant to be an opportunity to master the mechanics, unlock as many upgrades as possible, learn all the secrets, and get closer to having a winning run. Its fine if you dont like this genre but saying having ocd as the reason you wont play this genre is dumb. You aren’t actually starting over, its all in your head.

I was considering this until I learned it's only an hour?! Also, I hate her ponytail moves as if she's always in space. It's annoying. Still, looks like it's a good foundation to build on. Which I hope it does.

I didn't know that bright memory is available on pc because I've only played the mobile version of the original one
With a 10$ price, I would say its pretty good
the controls on a keyboard are all over the place
The game play was fantastic. 10/10, my only complaint would be that the grapple was underutilized. With how fast paced the combat can get, it would be fun if you could use it to zip around in combat.
The story was a little flat, but I think thats mostly because it was so short. I was hoping the story was gonna pick up but then it was over and I had only just started playing it! Too short is really my only complaint.
I'd really like to see more episodes.

Because the reviewer and players aren't supposed to care if one person or one hundred people made the game, and how it was made - it should only matter if it's good or not.

A mandatory, insta-fail stealth section? I think I'll just watch a walkthrough of this. Also the amount of cutscenes is unbearable.
yeah, she says it's finished in an hour & 20 mins, so... cutscenes & stealth... ok. It's like one sit play & forget type of game.
