Nice job! And thanks for testing. I use this gasoline smelling sealer to fix all sorts of stuff, but never imagined it could work on metal with this kind of pressure. One a side note I stopped using low profile tires 20 years ago due to this type of problem and the added stress on suspension components and steering components. They look cool, but cost too much 😊.
That is a shocking weld, no wonder it leaks. Good idea loading the sealer from the inside of the tyre to rim that way the air will push the sealer into the crack. I would have pushed back the tyre with a screwdriver to really give it a good dose of sealer. Nice to know the stuff works, will grab a can for an emergency. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Dude you drive a MB and you should be all about money just buy a another set of wheels or just fix that one for few hundred bucks but it looks like your rims are common rims. You have crystal taste with draft beer budget.

I went with Jb weld before on my rim, it really helped out too and you can sand it down to a nice finish touch
I tried that in high schools on some 24s it kept cracking
Jb weld is the greatest I have used it for many things always does great

Try the flex seal tape if your able to get tire off to put on the inside

Yes came right off I didn’t flex seal to tire I did the rim pull back on tire mainly covered the crack

John Wagner yea I figured that. I let it seal completely and just got a new tire.
Should of put a cut peace of metal over the crack and glued it to the rim to dry for 24 hours it works better if you fix the inside two same process.
