I've seen Ferraris, Bentleys, Porsche, Mercedes, and BMWs pull up behind me. All cars you'll never see a shortage of in Palm Beach where the rich and wealthy dwell. I never give a second look at those cars because they're all too common. To witness a phantom black Lexus LC 500 with its striking daylight running lights turned on pull up behind me, never had I been so intimidated and awestruck by a car's beauty a day in my life until I saw that Lexus gracefully make its stop in my rearview. It's a shame that Lexus is not given the same respect or "prestige". as its German counterparts.
Prestige? Not sure about that one. There are more wealthy people who drive Lexus than any of the other brands that you just named. That’s actually a statistical proven fact. Those other brands are typically driven by middle class Americans who want to appear to be wealthier than they really are.

What do you mean....older car? ANY Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Bentley etc. that starts is a miracle car. All of these I've mentioned are simply bank account drainers. That's all they are and that's all they are good for. When you consider Ferrari dash switches melt in the Sun, the fuel pump is cheap plastic, and all of these other cars are pretty much the same, the Lexus is heads and shoulders above the fray. It is arguably the most beautiful car on the market today. The fit and finish is absolutely perfect. They are extremely reliable. Performance exceeds driver ability. What else can you ask for? Personally, I wouldn't own anything but the LC 500 or for that matter any Lexus product. They simply are very well made and you never have to worry. Try saying that about ANY of those other money pits. And by the way, the LC 500 is not, nor was it ever meant to be a race car. It is an automobile for the public roads that is at the top of the class.
My father in law has one of these and I reviewed it and loved every second of it. Like you said, it's the perfect balance of beautiful styling, great sound, and Lexus reliability. It will be mine one day. Awesome video, as always!
Can't go wrong with a Lexus, I like those coupe's I certainly wouldn't say no, even though they are a heavy car.......Probably quite thristy too when you use your lead boot........Awesome vid as always, not too long, just the right length.....Love the clothes you wear, always seem to match the car you're reviewing.....Keep those vids coming!!

Such an underrated car, its ashame. Toyota would have been better off with thus chassis as a base for the A90. It would have been cool to see modern day ZZ30 and JZA80 successors together under their original roots.
I don’t quite get it either. I feel like 5-10 years ago, a 0-60 in the low 5s was still considered fast. But a 4.4s 0-60 is apparently “slow”. I guess compared to the cars it’s competing with it’s slower, but 4.4s is definitely not slow!
Agree. Like if all the reviewers were street racing 😂 bought a LC500H doing 0 to 60 in 4.7 which is on par with my previous corvette C5. Fast enough. The Lexus IS an amazing good looking car.
I just wish one reviewer knew about VOICE COMMAND. Once you configure the infotainment, you simply tell the car what you want to do. Very rarely...RARELY...do you have to use the trackpad.
I would go both. The Lexus for the aforementioned reliability. The maserati for presence. When the terrible horrible Chyrsler/Fiat electrics or other such thing go down, the Lexus will be there to get you home.

I know it sounds great and will be very comfortable and reliable but... two tons is a lot for quite a compact 2+2 coupe. Also, and I know it's a personal thing, but the recent Japanese styling school which models a car's 'face' on an anime version of a samurai helmet, well, it's really not my thing. You don't have a Maserati Granturismo MC in that shop do you?

Most cars come with this feature, even our tow rig has voice command. So not really a specific feature to the lc500.
