Good morning, Mike. Thank you so much for your videos. I’m a new Dasher, third week in, and I’m currently at Platinum level in Detroit, Michigan. I do notice that with Platinum, I get quite a few $5-7 trips that are 1-3 miles. Of course a few $12-$17+ gems in there too. I also normally dash for 4-5 hours after my daytime job. AR at 83%
My acceptance rate is 94%. And before anyone judges me, in California we get a weekly adjustment. Meaning in my state, if we dont make 120% above our state's minimum wage at the end of each week, Door Dash gives us what we DIDN'T make back in the form of an adjustment. I however, never take orders that are below $1.00 per mile and anything above 10 miles I look for at LEAST $1.50 to $2 per mile to make it worth it just in case I dont get asked if I want to switch to a busier zone or I dont get anything headed back to my home zone to cover my mileage back. And I average in a 6-8 hr shift, about $80-100 per day. On REALLY good day I make about $130.
Great video. This is nothing but good news for me. I try to do the job well, but I'm not taking unprofitable orders. So I have 18 AR, but otherwise very high stats right now. I will never take part in any program that doesn't guarantee benefits. It's like gambling, you hope you win, but maybe you will lose. They should really drop this priority access nonsense and just concentrate on giving access to dash now. Being able to dash anytime is a guaranteed benefit, no hoping or wishing. The old top dasher program worked the best. Top dashers could dash anytime, anywhere, and everyone else had to schedule or wait for it to get busy. There was no priority access, the order went to the dasher closest to the restaurant. AR and stats only mattered if you wanted to achieve top dasher.

The quality of service drops hugely when drivers are triple stacked because the last delivery waits for everyone and first delivery had to wait longer for shopping route to complete also, this benefits a few drivers at longer delivery times.

I may be in the minority, but I actually LOVE the v2 version of dasher rewards compared to v1. With 9% acceptance, 99% completion, 4.99 rating, and 96% on time, I’d qualify for gold at the minimum. If the market im in, Winston Salem, doesn’t get diluted with platinum or even gold dashers, this would benefit me big time as DoorDash makes up about 30% of my full time gig income and even a minor uptick in income is a big deal for me. I’m also glad they got rid of the 100 deliveries/ 30 days thing, though I would’ve maybe lowered to 10 or 20 deliveries to incentivize people to drive on the platform. If you get a maximum of 25 points for acceptance rate, which would equate to .25 points per percentage point of acceptance rate (.25 * 100 = 25), then it would be impossible to get 0 points on any acceptance rate above 0%.
I saw the offer & told my wife to decline. But, she accepted it. $6 17 miles makeup store. Found out it was 2 drops. The clerk had a hard time finding one of the orders. 1st stop was to a closed post office. Called the customer who had us leave it there. 2nd drop was out of the zone. No out of the zone bonus? We jumped back on the highway when we should have waited for an order. Got back into the zone & declined a $4 6 mile offer & my dash ended & dash now wasn't available. Got some food & dash now was available. By time was available & we did much better.
Could you address the times to unassign an order? I am new to dashing, only done it for about four evenings so far. I know unassigning should be done infrequently. But I was out dashing in the evening, getting good, high-paying, short-distance orders, on a roll, I made $31 in an hour. Then I take a $12 order from a Chinese place. I go to get it. It takes them an HOUR to get one meal out! An entire hour to finish one basic meal! I was furious. I only had myself scheduled from 6:00-8:00, and I lost my entire 7:00 hour. Being new to Dashing, looking back, I probably should have unassigned the order at, like, maybe the 15 minute mark, or sooner. Can you address unassigning orders, when and why?
58 AR. on time 91. Complete 96. Cust Rat 4.99. I am struggling in the Tulsa market with silver. I really think platinum is needed here. The map is gray a lot, the zones are super close together and the orders are very slow. Tulsa is a very small market so I think we will get any updates super late.

These revamp rewards/incentive programs are minor. The program don't address that dedicated drivers, being in a higher reward tier, or those with high AR are not getting consistent orders, access to bigger pay, challenges, and other benefits vs a new driver (less than 2-3 months). Dedicated drivers should have access to it all. According to health stipend per week over the quarter, having at least 15+ active hours a week is pretty dedicated.

You hear Doordash complain about declined losses then they take it a step further by closing, you should earn less with fewer drivers is the theory. I looked at the schedule and there is not driver saturation in a big city according to the map. Its about AR not saturation idiots, garanteed.
Platinum is total BS. I have 90%ar, 98% completion, 95% on time, 4.78 customer.( in my area no one rates. I been 90 - 5star and 3 0star since i started 1 year ago.). And i get low ball orders. 5 dollar high paying offers constantly.

YOU RAISE THE BASE PAY. All this BS games of reinventing the wheel on metric is just that, BS and unnecessary because they refuse to give fair pay.

YES! I was looking to see if anybody had the same issue. Supposed to be on the new system but it’s nowhere to be found. AR is like 18% but other ratings are near perfect so I should be platinum yet I’m not. Syracuse area.
@@Brandon_Lee_Music I just rechecked and it just updated rn. Hopefully yrs should be updated soon.
@@bravehawks74 it did actually maybe 30 minutes after I commented! Partially anyway. I am platinum but it doesn’t actually show the new scoring system nor my overall score. As long as I get the bonuses I don’t care about looking at the rating though, I’m sure that will transfer over soon anyway
My question is u don't have to have 100 deliveries but what is going tonhappen to dash now? Or is that just gonna be available for platinum
Door Dash may have been told that using acceptance rate was violating labor laws by not allowing washers to be actual independent contractors
My completion rate 100%, Custer rating 4.96, on time 92%.
Considering all cherry pickers have low ar and it’s almost impossible to have perfect stats this doesn’t move the needle
90 percent acceptance rate should be 50 points
It’s December 19, 2024 and I’m still Gold status with a score of 95….where’s this roll out? No changes here in OKC. Am I missing something?
AR is currently 65% much lower than I normally run
Do we know yet which markets this is starting in?
TBH Platinum really needs to start at about 85 with this change
We should calab
I wish we can do DoorDash stock option.
AR 92% CR 98% CR 4.98 OT 93% San Diego 😎
These revamp rewards/incentive programs are minor. The program don't address that dedicated drivers, being in a higher reward tier, or those with high AR are not getting consistent orders, access to bigger pay, challenges, and other benefits vs a new driver (less than 2-3 months).
Dedicated drivers should have access to it all. According to health stipend per week over the quarter, having at least 15+ active hours a week is pretty dedicated.
I'm at gold level doing okay but no difference from before in my earnings
they never listen to us. to be real. overall is better than any other program. i would be gold. they need to give way more room for ar points. they shouldnt even count anyway
It’s supposed to be released in my area but it’s not showing in my app 🤷🏻♂️
Wait… I literally just got platinum just now with 18% AR. It still doesn’t show the overall rating though. Slow on the uptake to roll it out I guess
Still need a really high acceptance rate to get points tho, so it's not as good as I was hoping
I just want to be able to dash whenever I want. I would prefer to exclude high crime rate cities.
Acceptance 90
Completion 100
Rating 5.0
On time 97
Less than 50 deliveries.
I have to drive to the next high income zone for safety.
Maybe they add a 4th tier and call it crimson like their new card. Better make it worth it if that scores going to be high for it.
When will we see this in California?
My AR on doordash hit 0% Mostly do uber eats but cherry pick a few along my deliveries..
I wonder if it’ll be possible to get priority status with only 35% acceptance rate, I’m gonna guess 40% of the minimum
AR 96% .CR 100% CR 5.0 On time 94% only gold lol
I Dash from home so that im in the middle of many options, going to one store just makes a lot of wasted hours and safety.
It hasnt released in my area yet.
We are in agreement can't we just dash?
Until the fluid on time rolls out everywhere i dont see this rolling out every qhere yet
I watched the Fall Guy movie 🎬 highly recommended, the use of nihilism was extra special
Im ok qith gold qhich is where i would be but i prefer platinum
I have almost 11000 deliveries, i don't like this 6:33 new rating because its a slap in the face for those who earned thier way to platinum 😢
I’m still not playing their games and still not going to take trash
Remember though, not all plat dashers are equal. AR with in a teir matters for priority of higher paying offers...in general
Hmm maybe i should do EBT always then
Doordash has never stated this, it's you opinion.
You hear Doordash complain about declined losses then they take it a step further by closing, you should earn less with fewer drivers is the theory. I looked at the schedule and there is not driver saturation in a big city according to the map. Its about AR not saturation idiots, garanteed.
they need to give more room to stil get max points
Platinum is total BS. I have 90%ar, 98% completion, 95% on time, 4.78 customer.( in my area no one rates. I been 90 - 5star and 3 0star since i started 1 year ago.). And i get low ball orders. 5 dollar high paying offers constantly.
Im not out there profitting because im here complaining about limited dash time to make those billions.
All mine 70% or50%
My acceptance rate is 20%
Acceptance is 98%
Haven't seen it in my market yet so. Nh
73% AR
Limbo how low can you go? Please don't answer that companies
Thousands completed but like 20 something last 30 days. Let's freaking go if you actually want me to facilitate garbage 🗑 orders
My ar is 41
It’s all a steaming pile of 💩.
I prefer flexibility like a yoga practioner
49 AR
Dododash the company that complains about free gas then closes and takes their ball home, Wah Wa wah!
Lmao decline decline decline, multi app, these billion dollar corporations can kick rocks. Their reckoning is comming, and long over due.
You know how you gain access to high paying offers? YOU RAISE THE BASE PAY.
You know how you raise everyone’s completion rate and get your customers orders delivered and on time? YOU RAISE THE BASE PAY.
All this BS games of reinventing the wheel on metric is just that, BS and unnecessary because they refuse to give fair pay.
This is NOT in all markets. Majority of markets there is no change and the 100 dashes in 30 days stays as a requirement for Platinum. You’re doing a disservice by not mentioning this.
Not really he’s just letting the people know ?
It’s not even in all the markets it’s supposed to be in lol. I’m supposed to have it yet don’t. Somebody else in the chat here also said the same.
