    I have the GLB 35 AMG, both versions are amazing. Very practical, comfortable, good for young families, (my son is 3 months old). And the AMG has great performance for when he's not in the car and I wanna have some fun

      How smooth on the roads is the AMG? I test drove a GLB 250 and an AMG GLA 35 and found the AMG was harsher on the road. 😢

    This is by far the nicest GLB I’ve seen so far. The blue Color and wheels are very unique.

    Thanks for covering safety - which really is a top thing people should consider with a vehicle- and yet most reviewers fail to mention.

    I keep hoping one of these GLB videos will actually show a car seat in use in the 3rd row isofix points.

    I recently bought a brand new GLB in Hong Kong. The car broke down in only 12 days due to a gearbox issue and it had to sit in back to Mercedes repair center for a month. We took it back after Mercedes claimed that they have fully fixed it, however it broke down again in the middle of the road after just 6 days (with my wife who is currently 28-weeks pregnant onboard). This faulty car has only been driven for less than 500km and its still in repair center now. Due to the safety concern, i demand a full refund or replace a new car as we cannot trust this car anymore. They turned down my request and came back with a counter offered asking me to trade in the current faulty car and buy another new one from them. I was so speechless and our whole family were so disappointed as we have been supporting Mercedes for over 15 years (owned another E class previously)
    Think twice if you still consider Mercedes as your family car since the gearbox problem has been a major issue in the past few years, friends of mine also having problems with their Mercedes.

    GLB 250 4Matic uses run-flat tires - all-season Extended Mobility - tires, that's why it doesn't have to equip with a spare tire

    • @maxyang7919
      @maxyang7919 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just curious how many kph the tyres are rated for when they're flat?
      I think typical space saver spares are rated 80km/h.

    • @amandaavia
      @amandaavia 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@maxyang7919 I think it’s the same with run flats. Here in the US, I’m pretty sure they last for 50 miles at no faster than 50 mph

  • @nammalilleee3207

    8:37 you don't really need a spare wheel. Run flat works perfectly

    The MBUX voice control “Hey Mercedes” must have the optional pack (each model is different) in order to do the navigation search function by voice. Over the years, no review in Australia mentioned this, nor any salesperson when I visited the 5x Mercedes dealership. I end up buying the car without the pack because of it and the “Hey Mercedes” is pretty useless. Yes, it can adjust the temperature, seat warmer and sunblind, which that's about it, all of course can be done faster with my hands.

    • @charleshardingham4863
      @charleshardingham4863 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      FYI, the Mercedes Me voice command is not enabled to close the sunblind in Australia

    • @kl9794

      @@charleshardingham4863 GLC300 (face lift of GLC250) doesn't use the same MBUX as far as I know, it used the last gen face lifted model of W205 C Class, then added the Mercedes Me as well as replaced the centre console and steering, so essentially, it is the older generation MBUX with a bit of nip and tug.

    By watching this review makes me think that's why RAV4 Hybrid is so popular in Australia. GLB 250 is a great car, but there is a car (RAV4 Hybrid) using half of the fuel, 20 grand less but 2 seconds slower in the market.

    Getting my 250 in a few weeks. The 35 is $20k more for no real reason. There's some slightly bigger brakes, but the engine is the same with a tune. Also, thre's NO way you can get any new 250 on the road for $75k. You need to add at least $10k to that

    Somebody help me ...I have looked at dozens of GLB's online ...and see no difference in the size of the 7 inch & 10 inch screen.
    Is the physical size the same but the viewing area of the screen different?

    Row 3 only useful for small children.
    Buy something similar with a diesel motor if u want good fuel economy.

    How do 20 inch wheels compare to 19 inch for this vehicle in terms of ride quality? When I spec it on the website, the 20s are equipped with the repair kit, and the 19s are run flat only. Are the 20s also run flat? I like the looks of the 20s more but also concerned about sacrificing too much comfort

      @@island717 yeah but the thing is another market is being affected by the SUV craze, which is the minivan market.
      The minivan can do what a fullsize SUV can do (except for off-roading, which nobody does in their modern day SUV anyway) but way better. Modern minivans are very fuel efficient, offer much more room than a full-size SUV, still have fairly high ground clearance, good visibility, offer much more family-friendly tech, and are safe. the only reason why people buy large-suvs instead of a comparable minivan is because
      1) it’s a luxury suv, so that’s understandable as there’s no “good” luxury minivans out on the market today
      2) SUVs ARE THE NEW FASHION. plain and simple
