The real question is after the test half way through the video did u go to comment think you could watch the video and multitask but then realized you don’t know what he’s talking about and now you have to restart the video Coming from someone with ADHD this should tell u a lot
Oh shit is that how you know u have add.. My doctor told me but i didnt believe them , ik it sounds stupid but they say kids have it all the time. Im 18 and when i was still in school i would have to read the books again over and over cause i didnt understand

I really love how you explain and enunciate things clearly in this video, even though I personally had to put this on 1.25 speed, it just seemed very considerate :D Tip for people with ADHD: I heard it’s easier to listen to recordings that might seem hard to listen to from being “too slow” by just speeding them up if you can

One way to know of you have ADHD is if this questions apply EVERYDAY. It's normal to forget your wallet or keys, or to not concentrate during a test, but if it happens every day, that is concerning. So if you sometimes forget something, it's not the same as always forgetting it to the point of making your daily life more challenging.
The thing with ADHD symptoms is that basically everyone has them from time to time. Lots of people are disorganised and put off doing work. Everyone loses their keys or phone or TV remote now and then. It's ADHD when those behaviours happen far more often than for the average person and to the point where they impair your ability to keep your job, drive a car safely, keep friends, succeed in school etc. Having ADHD for me means losing vital work papers not once or twice but on a continuous regular basis. It's knowing that I do that but being unable to stop making simple easily avoidable mistakes. It means nearly missing expensive flights every time I travel no matter how early I try to leave. And those are just tiny examples of how it impacts me on a daily basis and makes my life very chaotic. So answering 8/8 on this test means nothing. The question is are you able to function like your peers, or are you bouncing from job to job, or unable to maintain a relationship, or sitting on lots of speeding tickets or something similar? It's when you answer yes to the test questions AND are really struggling with life that you may actually have ADHD.

Perfect score !! I am depressed anxious and have adhd😂 24/24 Nf explained it perfectly "I have a problem with relationships coz I see the world from a broken lens"
Authentic Mental Health Thank you, I'm fine now :) I don't really know, I was never stigmatized but it's probably because I was always ashamed of it and not everyone around me knows about it, but a few times I noticed people don't believe me, this term is very often used thoughtlessly so many people don't take it seriously
When I'm having a conversation with someone I always start panicking because I don't know which eye to look at the other person or if I should look at their mouth
Sounds like pretty normal if you're just a generally nervous person... tho you might have anxiety. Just go to see your doctor really, they know where to direct you towards
I know I have ADHD because I sidetracked and after watching 3 adhd videos I just remembered why I got on youtube in the first place! I got on youtube to look for a bipolar video so I could send it to my friend who thinks her friend has bipolar disorder and I completely sidetracked. Adhd can definitely be frustrating and overwhelming sometimes!
I feel no. 6 is a bit hit and miss, because we hyperfocus on things. It's more; can you do tasks that appear mundane to you, or do you try and avoid them until they become urgent and can no longer be ignored?
8/8 I started reading posts as you were talking and all I could hear was "ADHD". I, too, was distracted by that the little smiley face on the board. 😂😂😂
I scored 8 out of 8 on this test and by the way i have already been digonesed with ADHD dyslexia and dysgraphia and i go to a special school that teaches kids who have that
Respect man! First video I can watch without distracting, because of the way you speak :) And huge respect for strongly encouraging to seek for professional help and not self-diagnose. Having online tests is just a way to decide whether to go to a therapist or not. Got 8/8 and overall 90% points in all tests I took
When you asked "do you avoid things that require focus or attention" I was gonna write no and then I remembered I just finished my math test, which I had a week to do and I just did it now, in the last day, because I knew I had to seat down and think carefully instead of just listening to music and dancing along... also I scored 7/8
I was diagnosed with ADHD at 8 years old. I answered yes for every question except disorganization. I am completely opposite of disorganized and possibly borderline OCD. Working out curbed my hyperactivity and working on cars improved my ability to focus in other aspects of life. However social media and video games are still a trigger
If you feel like it is having a significant, mostly negative, impact in your life, you could POTENTIALLY have it. Or it could be symptoms of depression or thyroid issues. That's why it can be tough to diagnose. Other things can resemble it. Symptoms have to have been present prior to 12 yrs of age, there was a test I was given after my first year of college (women are mostly diagnosed later in life, due to the fact they have the predominantly inattentive type, males are more frequently diagnosed in childhood due to predominantly exhibiting the hyperactive type) that basically (so said my abnormal psych instructor) fool proof, meaning it proves whether you have it or you don't. Basically, it can't be faked. If you have made it to adulthood or late teens, it is highly likely that comorbidities have developed as well, such as: depression and/or anxiety. It's a constant struggle, if it has followed you into adulthood undiagnosed especially; for example, 0227 on thanksgiving day and I'm still procrastinating on starting a paper that is 4 days late, that I technically probably shouldn't get any credit for, but just might (the instructor has given me full credit on assignment 7+ days late before, which just encourages my very terrible studdy habits I have formed since school started to demand a little bit of effort. As he said, if your concerned you may have it, get your self checked out, educate yourself so that you can pose informed questions too; I understand medical professionals can have a tendency to follow their own inclinations at times, instead of addressing concerns fully. So back on track, it may be that you have it, or it may be that you have other problems that can mimick the symptoms. It helps if you can take a parent or someone that would have a good recollection of you before you were 12 yrs old, so if possible, that'd be good. Hope this helped!
Love how he was like did you score lower than 5? Or higher and all I could think was “wait there were more than five questions?” Lemme just rewatch this video hehe-
I tune out right at the beginning of a conversation. 😂 I had been diagnosed with ADHD nearly 10 years ago. So I legit got this one 100%. Forgetfulness is a symptom I suffer from even when I take my medication... oops haha.

My advice is, don't just look at the medical book, because if you do, you'll always end up finding out you have five terminal diseases. :D
Did anyone here actually finish the video and pay attention to it😭🤣
Probably not no😂😂😂😩😩😩
Nope
Not explain to me no maybe don't
no, not at all 😅😂
After rewinding a few times I got it lol
nobody:
him: “aye dee hayche dee”
No wonder I get sidetracked and never finish vids
...
8/8 like I expected ;) I was diagnosed with ADHD over 10 years ago. Thank you Charlie for making these videos, they're really helpful :D
Inga Siwiec well I'm glad you approve of this video and I hope you're okay? Do you think there is a stigma around ADHD?
Authentic Mental Health Thank you, I'm fine now :) I don't really know, I was never stigmatized but it's probably because I was always ashamed of it and not everyone around me knows about it, but a few times I noticed people don't believe me, this term is very often used thoughtlessly so many people don't take it seriously
Authentic Mental Health same i got 8/8 and was diagnosed when i was 5
Same
@wow! Same, I got 8/8 and did a number of other tests and research but they try to convince me that I'm fine and everyone is inattentive sometimes
Me: k, let’s do the video and see if I might have it!
My brain: lets zone out and go to the comments instead
When I'm having a conversation with someone I always start panicking because I don't know which eye to look at the other person or if I should look at their mouth
I'm sorry, have you ever spoke to anyone before about this?
@@AuthenticMentalHealth which doctor can diagnose you with adhd? Because I'm 99.9% sure that I have it
Sounds like pretty normal if you're just a generally nervous person... tho you might have anxiety. Just go to see your doctor really, they know where to direct you towards
@@rainy4354 this is not the only thing that happens but thank you for commenting
@@Irene-rb4jk Yeah okay, seeing a doctor or maybe counselling would really help then
I know I have ADHD because I sidetracked and after watching 3 adhd videos I just remembered why I got on youtube in the first place! I got on youtube to look for a bipolar video so I could send it to my friend who thinks her friend has bipolar disorder and I completely sidetracked. Adhd can definitely be frustrating and overwhelming sometimes!
Oof I took 10 different test and they all turned out positive that I have ADHD.
don’t self diagnose lol
Time to talk to a doctor
I feel no. 6 is a bit hit and miss, because we hyperfocus on things. It's more; can you do tasks that appear mundane to you, or do you try and avoid them until they become urgent and can no longer be ignored?
Who else kept zoning out and restarting the vid
Hippihippo Studios me, i had to replay this video like 3 times
8/8 I started reading posts as you were talking and all I could hear was "ADHD". I, too, was distracted by that the little smiley face on the board. 😂😂😂
I scored 7 out of 8 on this test HOWEVER I don't suffer from ADHD!
I scored 8/8 ...do you think I should go to a psychiatrist?
All those things are extremely common for me and my parents always scold me for that....
Authentic Mental Health I actually do have it. Lol.
8 but i actually do have it and its real shitty
I scored 8 out of 8 on this test and by the way i have already been digonesed with ADHD dyslexia and dysgraphia and i go to a special school that teaches kids who have that
Authentic Mental Health lol I have ADHD and answered yes to all 8
Him: Asks anything.
Me: YeS?
Do you have A D HAEYCH D?
Ay dee haych dee
An "A D HAYCH D" test
😂😞 obviously my accent!
I got confused for half a sec lmao
Respect man! First video I can watch without distracting, because of the way you speak :)
And huge respect for strongly encouraging to seek for professional help and not self-diagnose.
Having online tests is just a way to decide whether to go to a therapist or not. Got 8/8 and overall 90% points in all tests I took
Sry mate, started to tune out and think of Scooby Doo when I saw the purple light thingy in your glasses
Sorry!
Lol I have ADHD
This should be fun
Hey kids don't do adderall
Yes it happens to me all the time
@Spongette yea me right now
Whats wrong with adderall?
Убийца Кирби this has been me since i was little
half way through answering these questions i got distracted and started playing with my arm.... oh dear.
Have you been diagnosed with ADHD before?
Authentic Mental Health omg hello ty for replying, no i haven’t
Starting to ask questions:
My brain: oh, comments how interesting
I got 8/8 and during the beginning the first question I zoned out and had to go back
Dark_A_Shark same
Dark_A_Shark same also
Same, I zoned out in the first 4 questions
I skipped directly to the test , and had to re wind twice. Means i'm fucked right ?
Same
When you asked "do you avoid things that require focus or attention" I was gonna write no and then I remembered I just finished my math test, which I had a week to do and I just did it now, in the last day, because I knew I had to seat down and think carefully instead of just listening to music and dancing along... also I scored 7/8
2:57 I paused the video because my head started to hurt and it was a long conversation
Sorry!
I was lost in the middle of your video wondering are you eating bubble gums cause i saw something white in your mouth. Now I have to go back 20 scnds.
Suaidatul Aziemah Kusnadi 😂😂 i was focused on the smiley face in the back and the U in subscribe
Suaidatul Aziemah Kusnadi lmao i was focused on trying to figure out if he is directly in the center of the screen
I'm actually reading this instead paying attention to the video
Suaidatul Aziemah Kusnadi lol
because ADHD
I have ADHD and this test actually works. Answerd yes on everything.
Smh
@@saucemcman4225 what
That don't mean you actually have it
@@candicewilliford5608 ...yeah. Its not like i have had it confirmed by ha doctor sense i was 6.
@@lmao2351 sure. Sure, say that to defend yourself ok. ADHD wannabe
Im diagnosed with ADHD lol but I thought it would be fun to take the test haha and I got yes for all of them
LeRandomLife HAHAHAH SAME AND I GOT 8/8
Benjamin Marshall 😂😂😂👍
LeRandomLife same here
LeRandomLife same
Same
I don’t have ADHD, but i see that he is speaking so slow to make someone with ADHd understand.
I already know that I have ADHD because I was diagnosed with it when I was in kindergarten and I am in 6th grade now
Johari Jones same thing as me I was diagnosed with ADHD in kindergarten and right now I am in 6th grade
your parents are idiots
I’m in sixth grade and I also had adhd
Johari Jones same I have adhd
I have ADHD and I’m in 6th grade, going into 7th.
I got 8/8 but idk if I have ADHD. I heard of adhd before and when I saw what it is I do all of the things but I don't have it apparently or do I?
Roast King if you feel like these symptoms are taking over your life or disrupting it, you have ADHD/ADD
Brittney Ricks yes thank you x
NO! JUST BECAUSE YOU SCORED AN 8 GO SEE A DOCTOR IF NOT FUCK OFF TRIGGERING ME WITH THIS FUCKERS
what does ADD means?
There was a 21 minute video, i took the 4, my aunt called me earlier idk what she said tbh cause i had something else in front of me distracting me 🙃
I would highly recommend you speak to someone here who can help you - betterhelp.com/authenticmentalhealth
I can't be the only one who sped up the video, and then got distracted and have to go back like 8 times on the questions
Anyone else rewinded this 2 times because they got distracted?
Love how he was like did you score lower than 5? Or higher and all I could think was “wait there were more than five questions?” Lemme just rewatch this video hehe-
Thank you Charlie for doing these videos! Continue educating people 😍😙
Ezzaty Husna thank you so much, I just want to help people, I believe that was my purpose in life🤗❤️
I try to listen to test and read cmments at the same time and always tempted to fast forward things
I tune out right at the beginning of a conversation. 😂 I had been diagnosed with ADHD nearly 10 years ago. So I legit got this one 100%. Forgetfulness is a symptom I suffer from even when I take my medication... oops haha.
