@@Golfpicker best acoustic I’ve ever owned. I’ve had 2 Martin dreads, a gibson and 5-6 others. This one takes the cake. It’s a tone machine at any volume and is just an all around excellent instrument. Worth every penny!
I live here in Quebec and McDonalds poutine sucks compared to home made. I've got a Gibson Songwriter and it sounds and plays amazing.Boucher guitars are fabulous and the one you're playing sounds like heaven!
What is the nut, scale length and neck profile? How does it stack up to a Martin with VTS? Can you order a 12-fret? What say you John? I wanted to know when I heard the other video. Thanks.
Scale Length: 25.5" Nut Width: 1.750" How it stacks up to a Martin with VTS is a difficult question to answer. The Boucher is a boutique, one-of-a-kind guitar. In terms of how it sounds, it will stand up to any Martin VTS. We can look into ordering a 12-fret if you're interested. is the BG-152 really better than the BG-52 to you ? I thought it was the same (everything is the same except the country of origin of the wood ?) but listening at both of your videos noticed a slighly different sound
I spoke to Boucher and they said the 152 is voiced to accentuate the upper mids and highs, so whether this is "better" than the BG-52 is highly subjective. You might as well say a D18 is "better" than a D28! They'll each have their plusses and minuses, according to the needs and tastes of each individual player. Why not present the 152 and 52 as equally good guitars with different characteristics?
Two things: 1 Tex Haynes buys a lot of guitars and he is asking questions about this one. 2. Did you do this baseball game yet? I have been busy with a funeral and not active here. If not, we might drive down from kc.
Thank you very much guys! Always a pleasure to see you review one of our guitars! All the best from everyone at Boucher Guitars!

After saving up for a few years I finally pulled the trigger on a new Boucher BG-152 GMI. 6 to 8 months to build it. Can't wait.

John does truly prefer the sound of Madagascar if he were to pick one out of the two!
@@AcousticShoppe thanks !
What BC model and thickness pick used? What strings and gauge on the Boucher?

@@AcousticShoppe Strings? I think Boucher strings with Elixir nano mediums p.B.
Yep!
Man can these guys play
I like it when you guys play together with Jeremy on the Mandolin. I loose interest in the longer clips.

Great tone on that guitar, beautiful bottom tone. Sounded a little like a Gibson J45 to me, just my opinion. Keep on smiling.
Thanks for watching👍
