There's no racism in Australia, I live in Sydney since last more than a year, and I haven't faced a single incident of it. Australian people are so friendly, by nature they are teasy and funny, but they are not racist.

There is definitely racism in Australia but it's not as much or as bad as people think. People in other countries think you face racism in Australia every day when you leave the house but the reality is you probably will get just ignorant comments once every few months. My experience is that I get some weird comments from older people sometimes but they say it from ignorance not malice. I've only had good experiences from younger Australians who are very accepting.

@@JMian there's no reason to get offended unnecessarily and anyways, racism is or isn't there depending upon where you're living. Plus the main portion of racism is actually passive, you get lesser job opportunities and people don't really care when they see you belong to a certain ethnicity

Simply choose a city of canada and Australia. And then open indeed job search . And see how many jobs are available in your particular field and what qualifications are needed to get that job and if you are qualified for that particular job . Whichever city/country shows more opportunities is the one you should select. And then see what kind of security and stability in terms of visa and such things are offered and comparison must be non biased . Let me know if you have any questions.

    • @1987ap

Salary :- Salary is definitely more than Canada in Australia and specifically blue-collar jobs Australia is on top at least by 50-70% more than Canada. Don’t look at min wage look at what people are getting generally. Anyways 1st July 23 minimum wages are rising to $23.38 in Australia.
Insurances are so cheap in Australia than Canada.
Property Taxes are also less in Australia
House prices are also similar except Sydney as Sydney’s housing are as expensive as Toronto and Vancouver.
Income Taxes are similar and one thing in Australia you’ll be paying 10% flat GST inclusive in the price of any goods whereas in Canada GST can be very from province to province and exclusive the price of good.
Medical facilities are same but having private hospitals in Australia I’m seeing that an advantage to the people who can afford to have private health insurance and that way they will have luxury to cut the long waiting for non emergency surgeries. Private health insurance are not that expensive though.
Overall Australia could be 10-15% expensive than Canada but at the same time higher wages justifies that and also whiteout harsh winter. People thinks Australia is hot but believe me it’s only in summer season and hardly touches to 40 degrees for few days and that also not consecutively.
Avg pay $25 for any job you do in Australia these days.
Both countries are good but I think Australia wins here as an advantage of having nice weather in my opinion.

I agreed with most of ur points, however racism is not such a big problem here in Australia. Me and my wife have been living in the regional area east of Sydney since 2016 and we were fearing the same, however we've found exactly the opposite, people willingness to help and support you. Infact the local council even sent a volunteer to find out if we facing any problems and wat if anything the council could do to help us settle in which I think was great. I agree that there is always exceptional situations where u cannot do much but Australia I think has one of the toughest laws about racism which even the local Aussies are aware of. This really keeps people in check.

Consideration should be done with what that money can buy you over there. like living cost rather than remittance comparison as these countries are expensive so not much left to send back home if you living a reasonable life and pay for your study aswell. Future prospects. Many studied here also settle in US what is the opportunity after study in Aussie and settle in North American not much I believe.

The main reason why Australia has less visa rejections than Canada is because you can only file your visa once for Australia it means if you got rejected you can't file your visa again. So people give their 100% to get the Australian student visa. Whereas for Canada you can file your visa multiple times and due to this relaxation people get rejected.

In Australia, its difficult to find part time job. Students don't get job even even after 8 months. Walkin CV RESUME is not accepted by shop's, pizza hut, macd, domino's, mall shops. Worst jobs scenario. Students are depressed too much. Hostel Room AUD 210 PER WEEK, FOOD AUD 50 WEEKLY, TOO MUCH COSTLY.
