Came across this video. I live in Germany . Moved a year ago for a job. You said everything correct except one thing that it’s difficult to learn German. If you had come here and learnt German , it would be very easy as compared to learn German from India. You just need to join classes and practice as much as you can . You get lot of option to practice Deutsche here. Getting English job is little difficult but not impossible.

Language is a major barrier not only in Germany but overall Europe otherwise countries like Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, The Netherlands are way way better than North America. Btw, it isn't that difficult to get PR or citizenship in Germany if you pass the required language test...and so is the case with Finland too. However it is difficult to get a citizenship in Norway.

1:07 Sure majorly German unis me fees nahi hota but the state of Baden Wuerttemberg (BW) applies tuition fees for international students. Mene Tuebingen se master's kiya tha, I used to pay 1500 euros per semester for tuition fees and 150 euros for miscellaneous. Although dormitory was super cheap compared to residences in Canadian Unis... Aur public transportation was good enough, Canada is very car dependant country.... Also BW state me there are many well-reputated univerities like Heidelberg Uni (one of the oldest university in Germany, 1300s me bana tha), Tuebingen Uni (1477 year me), Freiburg Uni, Mainz (JGU), Karlsruhe (KIT), Stuttgart.... ye saare uni top 10 list me rehte hai QS ya THE ke polls me...

The economy of countries cannot be compared by looking at exports only. For example, the last person you interviewed was working for Google in a software-related job. His contribution to Canada's economy is labelled as a service, which has been the fastest-growing sector. Also unemployment rate in Canada is 5% and not 9.

Everything is correct, except the language part in Germany. First, language is not a big problem, since you can get away by speaking English in metropolitans. Second, it's wayyyy easier to learn the language efficiently in Germany itself. SO having lived in Germany for almost 10 years now, I don't think language is that big an issue.

Because the whole University studies and environment is in English in Masters. But yes, learning the language really helps integrating into the society. And once a student or someone doing a job comes here, they can start learning at their own pace.

If you are in any Schengen countries, you have to know the language of the country, to be able to find employment, daily communication with people...life will be easier in general then. I learned to the highest level of Dutch language ( I live in Dutch area of Belgium) in the first months here. Now after many years here I speak , read and write Dutch reasonably well. I even speak local dialects...and the local people here appreciate it a lot. I think it also helps in getting citizenship of the country...at least here in Belgium, they interview in Dutch
