After spending 5 years in Australia, doing masters in IT, doing all kinds of part time jobs, nothing comes easy. Life is hard. Work life balance at the end does not guarantee happiness, it’s the people around you. As an international student, getting a part-time become hard because of no local experience but you eventually land one if you don’t give up. Moreover, Australia keeps on changing their rules every 6 months. If you’re going to spend next 4-5 years on student and the graduate visa, I won’t really look at current scenario and make a decision. The rules will 100% change in next 4 years. What I’ve seen in Canada is people can climb the corporate ladder more easily. At the end, it’s you who makes your life worthwhile.

@@Karma_866 Europe (especially UK, France, and Germany) is in economic crisis. The Ukrainian War has bankrupted its economy. There are strikes and protests all over Europe. It is easy to blame immigrants on its internal problems.
No need for the video. I can tell you from personal experience as I have lived in both countries. Don’t consider UK if you are looking for long term perspective.

@@anshikasharma9060 Germany has a big energy problem. It is buying expensive LNG from USA and diesel from Saudi Aradia (pass thru from Russia). Many German businesses shut down because it could not stay competitive with expensive fuel. Some businesses moved to other countries to survive.

Wanted to go to one of these two countries but eventually ended up in Germany 😅 I paid zero tuition fee, when I was a student. Finding a full time job after study wasn’t difficult either. That also helped me to get my PR.

In Canada, nursing is a possibility. Medicine is extremely hard to enter since there are very few vacancies for residency. They tend to choose Canadian citizens for medicine.

Everything is shut at 5pm which I personally found boring. Like you don’t see beautiful city filled with people eating around having fun etc. They’re all asleep Lol. May be on Sunday you will find people but on other days 5-6pm it’s all closed. 8pm in Australia is like 2am vibes in India. Make sure you find your Indian friends to have fun lol
'Everything is shut at 5pm.' What is meant by 'everything' ? In the big cities it probably means small shops and big shopping malls. However large supermarkets are open until late and all shops are open sometimes on Thursday and always Friday nights. As for night life and eating out, the city centre of Melbourne is vibrant and buzzing as are shopping strips with restaurants. Australians do not want to spend their leisure time working in a shop ! We have labour laws to protect us from that -- 8 hours work, 8 hours for play ie rest and recreation and 8 hours for sleep. We want to enjoy life!
I was suppose to go for Australia but i heard the PR takes long and jobs opportunities arent as much as Canada. I came to Canada as an international student in Manitoba. Only studied 1 year and landed a job after. After 6 months of full time work, I already started applying my first step in the PR journey. These happened in early 2021.
Fast-forward today, I got my PR status on May 2023. It took me about 1 year 5 months and 7 days to get my confirmation of PR status in Canada and I will be able to apply citizenship in around 2025.
I would love to study and be able to work in Australia but just “maybe” it might take longer for me to complete everything in a short span of time. I didn’t like the idea of stressing out my life and hoping i would make the cut in hopes of getting picked as an AU PR…but that’s just my situation. I’m pretty sure others had better luck in Australia and more power to them.

and isn't a risk as an investment for applying for a one-year study program, as you only get one-year PGWP, although the PR programs in Manitoba are comparatively less troublesome than any other provinces in Canada.

@@basedfragman5370 I went to a community college in The Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) back in 2020. Took only a year program. Saved me time and money here. I was working part-time at Walmart around Winnipeg during my studies. After I graduated, I got hired after a month and waited until I was eligible to apply and submit my EOI. However, during the time before I reached 6 months of working in the company as a full-time worker, I already took my IELTS and passed.
Manitoba requirement at the time says, I can submit my EOI with my general IELTS after 6 months. In my case, I added 3 days more after I reached 6 months just to be sure before I submitted my EOI.
Fast forward today, I got my PR in May 2023.
I don't why there is no content on Construction, civil and Architecture.
