My both friends even got PR but returned back to india forever.... No jobs, savings, depression, harsh weather, no emotional support loneliness, rising cost of living
Until 2020 (pandemic), most lifelong Canadians would have proudly & quickly said Canada is a great place. For multiple generations (young & old). It still is in many ways. But like all countries, a bunch of things have made life more difficult lately.
During the COVID lockdowns, many people went wild wanting to buy a house (urban & rural). Increasing demand and rising prices. Not long after, inflation caused mortgage rates especially to rise. Rent costs soared too.
People interested in working in hospitals declined. Less doctors etc..
Simultaneously in Canada, the number of people coming by air, land and boat to claim asylum skyrocketed. For example, in 2023 alone, in just one region (Central Canada) around 400 people arrived per day (on average). Ditto for other populated provinces. Also the number of international students SKYROCKETED too. In 2023, averaging around 2,000 per day across Canada. Years 2021 and 2022 had high #s too.
Hospitals hit with many wanting free healthcare. Less doctors/nurses etc., means greater waiting times.
A severe housing crisis has occurred in many western countries including in Canada. In ways not seen in people's lifetimes.
The majority trying to migrate to Canada recently have been from South Asia. And it's become extremely obvious to Canadians. Even those that are very used to much diversity & many cultures. Plus neighborhoods now know that international students are primarily using schooling as a 'back door' ticket to come to Canada for permanent residency. No one says it in public amongst strangers, but everyone knows because they've witnessed the extreme PR frenzy firsthand by now. To many Canadians it has felt like a tidal wave that has reached all cities and small towns, with a post secondary school. This extreme situation NEVER existed prior to 4 years ago.
Now westerners want the money greedy agents (pseudo smugglers) in other countries to stop marketing & LYING to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … being easy (to get). And for any greedy people living in western countries to be ashamed of themselves if they're hurting students. Anyone doing things to make $ off of people's PR desires or desperation. At best, there is a 25% chance of gaining PR (better odds if you are masters/medicine etc.).
Not all players across the board have acted honestly over the years, i.e. false asylum claims, contract marriages (IELTS spouse), anchor babies, fraud. Canada has asked the India government to prevent “ghost consulting”. The PRIVATE (non-public) colleges are especially being investigated (including looking for strong oversea ties).
Canadians are meeting students who told Canada they have enough $, but it turns out they borrowed it (some borrowed it for the application process only). Canadian food banks and other CHARITY services have been recklessly advertised on TH-cam (by India students in Indian language). Many transit services have launched stricter rules, i.e. lost monthly bus passes registered in your name are now never replaced (unlike before).
Then this year throw in all the Palestinian vs Israeli angry protests happening regularly in cities. Plus the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortion mostly happening in Ontario and British Columbia. Plus the Canadian government also recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections. All stemming from Asia continent. Hate crimes have gone from rare to occasional (primarily South Asians against South Asians).
Canadians are so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now VERY worried and fearful (due to all of the above). And all are praying it doesn't turn into great anger (like in the USA).
Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed … and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is very happy with Canada Immigration's recent changes (reductions & investigations). Including multi-generational long-term Asian-Canadians where many have been the most upset (by all of this).
Lol ur friends must be idiots or unskilled, they returned coz here in canada they did not get jobs with recommendations of their mai baaps.😂

@@mariadavis3797 That's definitely a problem with Indian videos - people speak both languages and especially while surfing the internet they tend to use English but in conversations it is native. But to help you out a bit:
He is discussing Emigration as the title suggests and below are the reasons for emigration from his experience:
1. Initially people emigrating were older (around 60 years old) since they could survive better on the pension that the government of Canada provides in their home country, let's say India, where the cost of living is almost 5 times lower.
2. Recently, too many people, especially from India, have migrated to Canada, mainly students. Therefore, there are no part-time or even full-time jobs owing to increased competition.
3. Since students are not getting any jobs, people have now resorted to illegal means of work thereby increasing robbery and theft, which are on an exponential rise in Canada.
4. Drugs are a major issue in Canada and the government is hardly doing anything to control it. If anything they are encouraging drug use.
5. Emigration among young people (20 - 35 years old) will increase in the coming years since people are finding it hard to live in Canada. The country is in a worse shape than ever.
6. If someone is still planning on coming to Canada then they should be skilled in a high-demand occupation like medicine, agriculture, etc to have a survival chance. Also, not to forget the taxes, which are extremely high in Canada.
7. He ends the video by giving an example of a family which left because their household income was too low - around 60K. The breadwinner of the family was in finance/accounting.
10 years ... and you say this ? So is India even pathetic that you didnt go back ?
I'm 22. I was a student in Canada. I am going back to India after 11 months. I lived in Toronto. I'm going in March ending. So yes. This is the current scenario of Canada. Young people are also migrating so do the age of 40- 50 and also I don't find myself fit in here. What I want to that can be easily done in India. So yeah I am moving back.

I am currently in the IT industry in India working with a decent package. I went to to Canada in April, 2023 and before coming to Canada I worked in IT industry for almost 7 years. After spending only a month here I packed my bags and left coz the conditions people were living in was sad to see. Everything was so saddening in Canada, from their poor public transport to their awful medical system. Not to forget high rent and harsh weather conditions and lack of opportunities.

Looks like you took the passport and left 😂
@harsh.hk__ Proximity to India (just 2 hours away), tax free salaries, World class infrastructure, pretty reasonable cost of living with a western lifestyle are some of the reasons perhaps. There's several people I personally know returning from Canada/UK back to the Gulf after having moved from here a few years ago.
This guy is spilling FACTS!!! I went to Canada in September 2022 as a Permanent Resident through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program/Express Entry. I lived there for four months and returned to India in December 2022 itself. Life in Canada was not as I had imagined while living in India. I used to envision Canada much differently, as Mr. Patel portray it, with clubbing, parties, outings, and so on. However, I encountered loneliness, depression, minimal social life, high taxes, and extremely cold weather (sometimes as low as -40 degrees Celsius). Nevertheless, I am glad I made the decision to return to India and have no thoughts of going back to Canada, not even for a vacation.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.
Their are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.
You think...you are ahead of your time....but you're stuck in the past....and we Indians are diverse and living happily, apart from some anti-social elements.
So, mate you need to change your perception.
@@vishnuacharya9366 I lived in Canada for 30 years and you are lecturing me? What a joke. Indians have their own country, but instead of staying there they move to Canada to be slaves. even in india you won't get home for less than 1.5cr in any good area.

In India neither pays are good and property is sky touching.

Yes 💯 true information...
While immigration means for an individual or a family to move to a new country from their country of origin with due formalities at the embassy, the word migration denotes the act of moving from one place to another - within a country or across borders, for people or birds, and usually refers not to a single individual or family but a a larger demographic. Hope it helps
Here, let me present a long list for Indians to not make the move to Canada :
- Isolating and Depressing - Everyone here is just busy working or studying. People barely have time for anyone at all. Even if you are struggling, you might still hear the response " I have work right now, I'll be there after".
-High Stress and Depression - Immigrants are constantly living under high stress conditions and fear of uncertainty. A lot of them are struggling with depression. Enough evidence to show that prolonged stress ages you, depresses you, makes you anxious, can give heart attacks and so much more.
- Taxes and Income - Almost half of your salary goes to tax.
- Travel - Everything is situated at a very long distance and you must drive for basic stuff in most cities.
- Public Transit - In most cities public transit sucks real bad. In the city I live, the same distance takes 18 minutes on car but 1.25 hours on transit.
- Weather - The weather stays bad for a longer time than good. Lack of sunlight can induce seasonal depression especially in brown population.
- Economy - It's going through quite a bad phase, I guess everyone knows about this by now.
- Drug Addict Dangers - There is a whole population of homeless drug addicts in almost every part of town who can be quite dangerous and aggressive.
- Cold and Dull - Everything is just cold, sterile and dull. There is no liveliness like in India. Streets are just empty and silent, everyone is cooped up in their homes and cars.
- Laws - Laws are not exactly favorable for immigrants.
- Healthcare - It is horrible. Lack of medical staff, high expenses, very very high wait times, and terrible emergency response. People have to wait in emergency rooms for hours.
- Feeling like an outsider - No matter how well you integrate the feeling of an outsider is there. The feeling of belonging is not there.
- Staying away from family and friends - Not being able to help them in their time of need or their inability in helping you. Missing out on all the best moments.
- Lack of business opportunity - India is a developing nation with such a high population, it has great scope for big business.
- Everyone is struggling - You meet people who are living here for years and yet struggling all the time which leaves you with a sense of a bleak future. When does the struggle end? I think people here just accept their fate of becoming a machine.
- Housing - There is an ongoing housing crisis. Incredibly difficult to buy a home and pay the mortgage for a lifetime.
- Retirement - In the end you are left alone in an empty house where you have to make plans to meet up with your own family. I've met old people working in factories in their 60s saying I'll anyway end up in an old age home. Sad.
- Parents - Even if you do bring your parents with you, I've seen and talked to many parents who just want to leave. There is a reason the parents call it a "Meethi Jail". They are unable to adjust.
- Racism - The racism in Canada is very subtle but be rest assured that the dinner table conversations make sure that the immigrants are to be blamed for a lot of the troubles. Also, the general image of Indians has deteriorated on the Internet lately.
- Purposeless Students - Indian students are mass migrating with no clear purpose. They are leaving their good privileged lives to struggle for basic stuff. The exact opposite of what they set out to get. So once they get their PRs they have no reason left to endure so much struggle.
I am saying this even though I have never been depressed and have always been optimistic here. Just imagine.
Very well said. It's a terrible situation. Best of luck to everyone who has come here recently.
Very well written.. just an fyi - it’s not “be rest assured”, only “rest assured”
Lol, didn't think anyone would be paying this much attention to language. I know "be and "rest" cannot be written together. However, "be rest assured" is used informally when talking in some places. Rules of grammar are broken often in every day conversation.

Very nice Mr. Patel. I have been living in Canada for last 20 years, jobs were always difficult but yet it was an affordable country. Housing was not difficult. Desi influx of mainly students with unknown agenda has indeed been uncontrollable and are making life for family oriented immigrants more difficult..
Hi mere ko aana ha

More difficult? It's a complete disaster
How are the students making life difficult for families? Stop attacking other immigrants, these students are the people that are running the highly expensive universities of Canada. I am not a student I came as a foreign worker.
@@AB.926 Majority students have an agenda of short cut to immigration and start picking jobs at dirt cheap wages. Local students use to get those jobs at basic wages but no more. They are ruining houses that they rent. Sometime back there was a gang war between Indian students when families decided not to rent them anymore. We cannot visit public places with families as these groups behave horribly and are loud beyond bearable limits. For your information 400 students were deported as they were found having fake credentials, you think they will run Canadian universities? Canada had family oriented immigration and life was beautiful, we were less Indians before but lived and socialized very well. Student influx is killing it, I wish government curbs this influx.

First of all... very good video. Liked and subscribed.
Here is what I think (in-line with what you're saying):
1. Unemployable south Asian youth coming in hoards due to poor government policy (or lack of) . This definitely has exploded the housing cost.
2. They got fooled by influencer videos on social media and didn't realize that Canada is hard work.
3. Global slow down of economy
As a person of Indian origin having lived in India and Canada almost equally, I can assure you things get better over time. The first 3-4 fours might be a struggle. Upgrade your skills, learn to speak better English (or French), go to networking events and be prepared to hustle.
I would get a lot of flak for saying this, life in Canada is still 100x better than life in India. Sure cost of labour is cheap in India and you can afford to be lazy but if nothing else kills you in India, pollution will. I travel to India one or two times per year (for work) and I know the ground reality there. If being lazy is your objective (saw one video where this "influencer" complained about having to make IKEA furniture) India is the best place. For everything else, hustle and make it work in Canada.
Last advice ... try to live outside of communal hubs like Brampton and Surrey.
yes, I agree that...Life in India is 100x better in Canada ,,,ppl becoming lazy here in India..no following of Laws, no rules obeying, all streets with garbage. Multiple party blaming each others..not supporting good policies, all free schemes, reservations, no support to genuine ppl and projects...cast, religious things,,,
more over no recognition to original talent ,,,bribery, illegal activities, big big scams...etc...
India is developing, our political system is destroying our growth,, many..I love India...pray God for changing of our policies and system....we can earn there and invest here ,,,,travel here and there until India becomes corruption free & reservation free....true patriotic politicians survive...many changes required here..,,Bharathmatha ki jai 👍🙏

Agree we Indians are moving out of India and in top in migration for better life .. after 2013 BJP has spoiled the country so people are forced to leave for better life
Students are going to Canada and other countries because there are very few jobs available in India. Even fresh engineers and doctors are paid ten thousand salary per month! Canada still is an attractive destination provided one is hard working and has patience. Good luck guys!!

It is already out of hand. Buying a house in Vancouver is impossible now.
Vancouver has been too expensive for decades. Homeless people on streets, drug addicts everywhere

When you Reverse Migrate to India, please do not forget to post your next video from India.
I have seen 100 videos of reverse migration, but zero actual person who came back.
People come back after getting Canadian passport, rest is all gyaaan for aam admi
I know many even from us who are going back
I came back after twenty years and happy to be back. Jai Bharat! 🇮🇳❤
Brother nicely done video , but if you could add data or statics as proof.
Very educative and objective video. I totally agree with you that reverse migration will increase especially as opportunities in India grow and countries like Canada do course correction with regard to PR keeping in view the deficit in certain skilled jobs. The way Indian economy is growing and lifestyle is improving in India and economy is going down in the West, more and more people not just senior citizens , even the young will realize that countries like Canada are not the dream countries anymore. Only those who fit in the job requirement and skill set required in Canada, will only be able to find life worthwhile in Canada.
Canada is like a refugee country. You dont have job opportunities in India , so you go to Australia or Canada. 😢
I am one of the people leaving Canada. I will travel back to India in April 2024 after my stay here in Montreal for 3 years. Reason: my career growth is not as I expected and cost is increasing exponentially, if I get a 15-20 lakh package in India, I can save the same amout of money what I am saving her and the second reason is food, I am a vegetarian and I cannot have a good food outside unless I cook myself, food is a small part of the reason but clearly influenced my decision. If things change and if I feel it was better here in Canada,
I can always come back to Canada
Kiya baha veg food nhi milta hai ??
Bro how is the part time job situation in Montreal, and can we live a good life without french?
@Itz_Arjita miltha Hai but bahut Kam options... and everything taste the same... all curries are same and dosa are the worst.. I can make better food in my home but I got 9-5 job and l live alone so no time to prepare goos food every day.
@faizanasojwala7237 as far as I know if u r getting outside the campus job in service sector then french will be kind of mandatory... but many of my friends either work in indian stores and restaurants as delivery boys or they do uber. But competition bahut Hai.. high number of Indians already here

Who leave fun countries like India to depressing Canada💀
Same thing happened in USA during 2000 -2005. But still migration is going on in usa.
Just because government wants labour's not jobers

Sir your video is so real & honest..
Very expensive and hard to survive… on top of that worst medical system 🔥😡
Maine to bohot galat decision liya yaha aake, itne paisa loan sab laga ke fas gya. Its a boring depressing country, full of aloneness and drugies.
Patel bhai,shu vaat che.
Nice video and thanks for sharing the facts.
I came to Canada for studies in 2000 and moved back to India in 2007. I lived in Vancouver and then moved to Montreal.
Even in 2002-2003, it was hard to get a job in Canada in your field. Luckily enough I got a job in Montreal in my field and had some of the best times in my life.
Vancouver had a lot of Indians in 2000s but had lot less buildings and Montreal had very few Indians.
Canada is not the place to make millions. It’s a place to sit back and live a laid back life. It’s sad to see what has become of this beautiful country.
I moved back even though I had a 80K US job offer in 2007.
Now 17 years later, I own multiple companies in India and they are globally renowned.
I came back coz I was the only son and also what I planned on doing, very few companies in India were doing it.
Do I regret coming back… Absolutely not! Would I have been able to create these companies in Canada- I don’t think so.
Eveything is possible if you manage things correctly... Just like mr patel as he is still there..
Stupid response. Some people are stuck there because they can't move with family and find jobs in India as a NRI

In short, living in India is better than living in Canada for Indian immigrants of Canada
Fully agreed
Namaskar ji, bahut sundar guidence hai aapki
Bhai video was good but something has missed as i am from Hyderabad i saw many of teenagers are getting scammed here by agents by giving visit visa’s and charging 3-4 lacks they are moving to canada and becoming illegal to work and doing reverse migration and blaming canada .what is your opinion on it?
Yes agents in India are making money and sending them in a small colleges here taali dono haath se bajti hai .
We lived in London UK and then took PR to Canada living here for 12 years now Canadian citizen .
If you work hard and have skill you can live comfortably.
In India also there are no jobs people are struggling everything is so expensive .
Financial planning is like navigation. If you know where you are and where you want to go, navigation isn't such a great problem. It's when you don't know the two points that it's difficult

Bhai can u please let me know how to find trade jobs for part time, like electrician job !!! Ur reply for this will be very helpful for me… please let me know how to find please !!!
Look for programs at local colleges. Sometimes they even have incentives to help with tuition. You need some college to become an apprentice and then you can start your training and eventually become a certified electrician
The main problem is mostly people are unprofessional they don't have any professional experience or any technical skill they're students.
I agree with this view , they do not integrate into existing social networks. They only want to earn dollars and send it back to India, do not do fact findings before coming to Canada. Do not speak English. Have high expectations. Specially working in factories with out work permit. Very sad no social mannerisms
Majority of people think that Student visa is an entry point to settle in canada. Pls understand that student visa is only to study and not to work full time during the course or settle here as immigrant. Half of the people who cannot match to get PR took student visa to enter Canada and thats where the problem began.
Sir aapne bilkul sahi kha
