I recall meeting Liberace in 1985. He had recently purchased two adjoining condos at the beach in Malibu -- perched just above the crashing waves. I was working for a furniture store in L.A. and we delivered a bunch of furniture for his "guest condo" next door to his personal condo unit. He invited me into his place to talk about the delivery and to sign the receipt. Unlike the opulent decor of his Hollywood Hills home, his Malibu condos were contemporary and subdued. He introduced me to his dogs and that's when I learned what a "Shar-Pei" is. He explained the history of the Shar-Pei breed, that they were bred as guard dogs for royalty in China. He was just as nice in person as he appears in this video!
When I lived in Las Vegas in 1974, I worked in a custom drapery shop. One of the things I worked on was draperies for Liberace that were identical to the wallpaper so they had to be precisely made. I still have a piece of the fabric!

Spill Burg yup.. he was a chain smoker
Spill Burg TH-cam comments are the best...,lol
I was going to say I like his voice. It has a musicality to it.
Spill Burg 🤓🤓
Spill Burg He LOOKS like an old grandma.
Such a kind man. I respect Liberace...a great pity that society would not let him be who he was.
You gotta hand it to the guy. He certainly did things his way.
Watching 2018. He was a magnificent pianist. World Class.
With heats in the trees I'm sure he was a fantastic host. Would love to have attended a party of his
He's so proud of his home,he's a true gentleman, I don't care about his personal life ,he made his own fortune, I admire that !!!!!!!!😊🇬🇧
This guy was truly one in a billion
I could watch him explaining for hours
I know he sued 3 different people/companies for accusing him of being gay (and he won all of them). It's like Wesley Snipes suing people for saying he's black... And winning
very similar to my flat in barnsley
😂😂😂😂
That's a LIE
yours is south-facing
Obviously!
Such a lovely man. His voice is so soothing. ASMR type of voice.
What a friendly and fine human being. RIP
MY MOM LOVED LIBERACE, I GREW UP LISTENING TO HIS MUSIC, THEN I GREW TO LOVE HIM.
Now this is something I hadn't seen before. Thank you greatly for uploading. Wonder if I can convince my wife to redo the master bedroom in a similar style? :D
OMG I love his Bedroom too! :D
Looks like he loved certain shades of blue like I do. What a gorgeous house! God bless him. He brought such joy to so many people!
A good human.
Genuinely eccentric.
I liked when Bugs Bunny did Liberace.
*The love and appreciation of his homes were evident.*
Lee was everything!!!! 🥳🥳🥳
He really is having fun showing his home to us. It's like he is still with us.
The his and her's sink bit is too good. "Since I'm a bachelor, I use them both myself." HAHAHAHAHAHA
"Too much of a good thing is WONDERFUL" took its toll on Liberace.
He seemed nice and down to earth
Absurd have gfallen in love with this guy in2023 .thankyou for sharing his memories 😊❤😊
Cribs before MTV
I dont think there has ever been anyone with such charisma!!
What a sweet, friendly soul.
I loved to watch him on TV when I was little. My favorite musical instrument is the piano.
As a human being when we can't find real love but you can afford to buy everything oh well.
