My dad passed his love of Sonic onto me. We watched this trailer together with so much excitement because shadow is not only my favorite, but also my dad’s favorite character! This is gonna be OUR movie, and I can’t wait to sit in the theatre with him, grinning with delight!

Subbed, I personally have always loved all thing's Sonic, games tv shows growing up, and the movie's and Knuckles show too, each is different, yet unique and great in it's own way, I never for a second had any doubt that with each Sonic related project after the first film, that each entry would slowly build upon the previous, take lessons learned, and apply them to future projects, now we Sonic fans are getting not only Sonic X Shadow Generations, but Sonic The Hedgehog 3 too, I hope fo see more from this universe and can't wait to experience this film opening night in the theater, the hype is palpable, Shadow is coming! 🤯🙌🏾🔥😃😎
Agreed!! I really like the knuckles tv show for what it was… it was a good time and it gave knuckles more screen time which I loved. The first two movies were an all around good time and just by looking at this 3rd trailer, like you pointed out, you can tell they learned a lot! Shadow and everyone else looks SUPER detailed! If he loses his memories at the end I think they are setting up for his own movie. Cause from shadow's game we see him lost and confused about who he is and why he's there so if they set up for his own movie we could see black doom try invade earth like the game and we could see shadow help him and go there the evil timeline then once his first movie is done they invaded we could get silver to time travel post credit scene. Then next movie silver is in the past to change his timeline so shadow helps sonic and his team to stop the invasion. And we could get the epic space battle with the true ultimate life form (big alien lizard) but also since silver traveled back he could join I to help them fight it. While on top of that we see shadow make the ultimate sacrifice to stop the beast and once the battle is done we see silver vanished from the timeline cause his original timeline is gone so should he.
I dont know if they will introduce silver that quick when there are so many other characters. But you're spot on about the memories. That could be a thing. I heard(I have no sources so take it with a grain of salt) that shadow might get his own tv show the way knuckles did. I think that would be cool

But for right now, what we've been hearing from the film is promising. it seems like they learned from their mistakes in the first film and they're also giving us over 15 fight scenes! Which is crazy to think about on a technical level. The first movie was fun, I really like the games but the fact of not having any fatalities or large number of fights hindered it a bit. No matter what happens Im hyped for it though!
