What's a shame is the fact that Siamese Dream isn't ranked higher on the list of best rock albums of all time. Its ranked 8th for most important 90's albums but I'd say it belongs top 3 easily. And I'd hate to say where it belongs in the top 3. 3 albums that defined the 90's (at least to me) were Nevermind, Siamese Dream and And Out Come The Wolves. Nevermind & And Out Come The Wolves were 2 records that literally changed the entire industry and affected culture heavily. Siamese Dream was its own rock category that was too good to be just an "alternative" record. Its still an album I enjoyed more than Nevermind but I understand why people list Nevermind so high. I just feel that musically speaking, Siamese Dream was the best album of that decade.
Chamberlain is so effortless in those fills. My main beef with this album was it was not well produced which is shocking because it was the guy who did Queen.
Incorrect. Baker produced just 2 songs on the album, Starz & Pomp. I don't get how in the age of universal accessibility to information, people seem to spout out more misinformation than ever.
This is my absolute favorite version of this song. Better than the one thats on the album. But thats what Billy does, he never stops, he just keeps on perfecting every little piece until it is absolutely EPIC.
I don't want to fight Every single night Everything I want is in your eyes You and me go back To places I don't know to care The spoils of all I got were left for scraps Don't let me say this But you're no worse than me It's crazy We are as real if real ever was Just because we are the real, they feel we have enough We are the real 'cause someone gave us up I wanna be there when you're happy I wanna love you when you're sad Can't stand the morning rain? Get out, I'll take your place then Can't stand the blazing sun? Then close your eyes, you'll see The angel dust I don't wanna be anything believed A million watts of sound can't compare Come along, you'll see the world The pulse ripples, the crowd unfurls The current starts to flow, and then you're on Oh, it's the white hot soul they want To sing for We are the real if real ever was Just because we are the ruin of every living soul We are surreal 'cause someone gave us up Don't break the oath I wanna love you when you're happy Don't break this oath I wanna be there when you're sad Freeze-frame the pouring rain We are the real, as real as any ghost So easy now We are the real in every living soul Oh don't they know? Can't stand the blazing sun? Can't stand the morning rain? Ah, get out, I'll take your place again I don't wanna be alone I don't wanna be alone I don't wanna be alone, at all If it's a white hot soul they want Then a black heart they'll get
What does that even mean? He has a huge fan base, done interviews for guitar mags, pretty much a spokesperson for fender stratocasters and still selling out arenas as of 2020. He is underrated how?
@@Brinta3 That's true. He's always credited by the media as a singer. But he is also the head songwriter and lead guitarist. Does not get the credit for his guitar skills as much as he should.
Billy Corgan will be remembered as one of the greats sadly it won't be really realized till he's gone...
Except, for his fans

The drummer is incredible, didn't miss a beat
That's jc to you
He is and will always be awesome.
💪🥁
billy deserves his own fender imo. considerin he and the pumpkins are one of the greatist bands ever.
has 3 or 4 guitar models out now, including a new one to be released this month
He also has a few custom models with Reverend Guitars now
greatest****
Ask and you receive lol
He's playing his fender model in the video
They sounded SOOO good. Damn, JC is a friggin monster.
Underrated banger!!! Great performance as well!
Sooo cool !!
Jimmy kicked the rest of the band right up a few extra floors!! Good heavens, dude is a beast!
Here after the live Beguiled on Fallon and realizing how fucking great the Smashing Pumpkins have sounded since 1993!
Honestly, I realy loved this look and lineup. Great visuals. In 2020 it probably would've worked better.
I really like these guys, they are dedicated to create and play in the music. I just love them!
Chamberlain is so effortless in those fills. My main beef with this album was it was not well produced which is shocking because it was the guy who did Queen.
Did you like Oceania?
100% better. His singing has improved too.
Chamerlain is a Jazz drummer, playing this music is like shooting fish in a barrel for him
Incorrect. Baker produced just 2 songs on the album, Starz & Pomp. I don't get how in the age of universal accessibility to information, people seem to spout out more misinformation than ever.
the young drummer can play this but chamberlain got the groove
Best band ever
Jimmy is a BEAST!

That was freaking amazing!!!!
Chamberlain Making everything look easy. I swear he's listening to "Pure Moods" while he's out there.
He's 6'4" if I recall. He didn't seem as tall in the past i think cause he slouched a lot... and james and d'arcy were taller than these two.
Thanks for the music, Billy.
Incredible, like a computer at times
Billy sounds great
Such a great song!
If the album sounded this raw, it would rule
Great!
JIMMY FUCKING CHAMBERLIN!
This drummer is a genius.
This god damned song RIPS!

I don't wanna be alone
I don't wanna be alone, at all
If it's a white hot soul they want
Then a black heart they'll get
His voice just hasn't changed over the years. Astonishing
fuck this band were tight. amazing performance.
billy fucking genius...!!
Zeitgeist is very underrated. It gets killed, even by Billy, but has some great music.
This song has the best use of harmonics in a Pumpkins tune since Zero.
Corgan is so under-rated on guitar
absolutely

He is never mentioned in any lists of greatest guitarists.

They should rerelease Zeitgeist.

I love the smashing pumpkins but i dont like fuzz pedals.
This album could have been good but the production is so flat its just a wall of noise.
