    VRS pedals are absolutely fantastic. The way they are designed, especially the brake, with the spring and preload bar, was a game changer for me. I had the Sprints, they were great. But I never loved the way the elastomers felt, not just on these but on any pedals I've used with them. The vrs pedals feel so much better and I get so much more feel from the brake. I would be interested to try these. I worry about reliability with something like this. I would definitely be willing to give them a shot.

    I wonder what happened to the channel. The video quality is superb and quite refreshing imho. Hoping you are well if you happen to read this.

    Why no video on the FX Pro wheel rim? I see it on your shelf.

    The best, so is the p1000s on hydraulics.

    Cool review man! I was thinking about them but I'll wait for the next model. I hope for a simpler set without clutch and hydraulics as I don't need them. I wish they would keep the spring + loadcell brake as all other companies use elastomers which I hate.
    Elastomers are way to sitff and don't have pronounced stop.

    • @reicals
      @reicals  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I totally agree! Elastomers do feel like elastomers and really nothing can change that. I do have some hunch that elastomer plays better with loadcell for modulation as there is not as direct connection between pedal input and loadcell output, sort of what you've described as lack of pronounced stop. What pedals are you rockin' right now? Any opinion on them?

    This is a fantastically produced video. I hope that you get some more subscribers. Do you have any thoughts on the p1000 compared to these?

      Thank you for the kind words. Sorry for late answer, we moved from Finland to Italy. It took some effort. I'm yet to try the P1000, but I'm intrigued by the rumble motor option. It might be the perfect companion to one butt kicker under the seat. I hope to get them soon to make a video about them. Thanks for watching :-)

      so I ordered the p1000 with 3 haptic motors and 1 bass shaker for my seat, I hope to have it all set up next week. Looks like great minds think alike!@@reicals

    Could you swap the DOT brake fluid for like mineral oil or baby oil like people do on mountain bikes?

    How about reviewing that sweet FX PRO? ;) I'm also considering it but wondering how is the compatibility of screen data with major sims?
    I read screen is not compatible with simhub :(
    Are all fields always updated and working correctly?

    • @reicals
      @reicals  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We'll definitely do the review on the FX Pro, but to answer your question before creating the full video. The screen data works surprisingly well, meaning that I just plugged the FX-Pro on Alpha and it just worked. So far I've tried AC and ACC and both work. However, the issue for me is that screen has rather bad refresh rate. I will measure it precisely, but it's definitely not 60fps, I would say it's even not 30fps. While it's totally fine for things like tire pressure, gear etc, for me it feels too slow for RPM meter. And there is one BIG ergonomic issue, but I'll save that for the video ;-) IMHO I wouldn't buy FX-Pro as long as you're not exclusive F1 or modern Open Wheel racer.

    • @OsirisPL
      @OsirisPL ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@reicals Thanks for the info :)
      For the ergonomic issue I heard that many people have issues with hard edges that stick out right above grips but I'm curious about your experiences.
      Please don't be afraid to mention disadvantages of reviewed products. TH-cam is nowadays plagued with marketing materials masquerading as reviews by people getting stuff for free from companies :(

    • @reicals
      @reicals  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are in a good position because we have bought all the products ourselves so we can say what we want. And we tried to outline the bigger issues of P2000 like the rattling.
      Yes, corners are really sharp above the grips, that is super painful when countersteering in a quick manner, other issue is the reach if you have larger hands/longer finger. The paddle shifter are to close to the grips leading to finger resting very deep on them. But we are still playing around with it and feeling it out. Btw what do you think is the reason for 4 paddle shifters instead of 2?

    the ONLY reason i went with ultimate knockoff over these is because i know that the brake fluid res will leak on me one day

    • @reicals
      @reicals  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I hear you! It does stay at the back of the mind with these, luckaly on P2000s there are very common parts on it, its not internal setup like in Invicta. Nevertheless, indeed the potential of leak even if low is totally there compared to spring/elastomer. What knockoffs did you went for? While researching I was surprised by some of their high quality.👌

  • @jackpolyak9634
    @jackpolyak9634 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You do understand the movement on the Invicta brake is supposed to be there and it's by design right? Not an accurate representation of them for comparison. You showed 10 things wobbling and loose on the Simagic pedals, and showed the one loose aspect of the Invictas, which again is by design. Otherwise the Invictas are rock solid with zero play.

    • @reicals
      @reicals  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do, and I have nothing against Invicta pedals, they are great! However I need to outline that also Simagic pedals have play by design. They have pins for adjustments that have play by design. Something that end user might care about, and something that isn't present in most Sprint type pedals. I am not sure does Invicta need that much play as well. 🤔 In any case, thank you for letting me know that it came across too harsh on Invicta pedals, it wasn't intended that way.😊

  • @onikenji88
    @onikenji88 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Did you clearly say that these pedals are better than the Sprint? I'm not sure and the P2000 interest me.

    • @reicals
      @reicals  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Personally I would choose the P2000 over the Sprints, but that is not to say that sprints are bad, they are fantastic pedals, but P2000 feel unique and in my opinion supperior in brake feel. For what kind of sim racing are you looking the pedals for?

    • @onikenji88
      @onikenji88 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @reicals
      @reicals  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Exactly, if you would do alot of Forza Horizon or doing drifting, then the benefit of very realistic brake pedal is minimized. Thank you for watching and we are moving now from Finland to Italy, so there will be little pause in videos, but we will have awesome content coming from Italy. 🤘
