First thing you need to do is to make sure is up-to-date with the latest version and then you can start searching for the vehicles that you want to be in your scanner. Does fault then click then the next shows codes and next to it says not ran . That means that part is at fault ? Also I only get 2 codes for powertrain . But when I drive with it plugged in drive 7 house's down than back I have 10 codes ? Is that because it got new data while driving?

It appears to be plug and play, but you might want to update it when you get it incase anything was updated since the date of mfg until you purchased it.
We don't' have Vauxhalls here, so I can't say for sure about your specific car. However, I didn't see that capability on my own cars (BMW 550i needs that as well), so I would have to assume no.

Does this have functions like turning off single fuel injectors while the engine is running, opening EVAP solenoids and closing vent solenoids... that sort of stuff? Does it graph crankshaft and camshaft signals? Can it program key chips?
No, this scanner has only 2 bi-directional functions that I showed (brakes and oil reset, I believe). The main attraction here is that you can read every module’s live data, so you should be able to read and graph crankshaft and camshaft so glad as long as it’s reported by the module. It cannot program keys.
Does it have mechanical/electrical blueprints?? Oh I agree they should put more special functions like they should put a view camera so someone can go further into diagnostic and plus be super convenient.
It does not have blueprints, or at least I didn't come across those while using the scanner. Viewing different cameras on the car would be super cool, but I think it's a lot more involved with car computers etc.
This works on all vehicles sold in US after 1996 since they will all have OBD2 functionality. Basically if the car has OBD2, it will work to some extent. As far as scanning individual modules, it will depend on the car itself and what modules it has.

I'm not 100% as I've never done anything like that. If the car you are working on has an AC module, it will allow you to see if there are any short or open circuits.

I haven't used the nt530, but from a quick search it seems to be capable of bi-directional control for many items. The NT624 is limited in that regard as it can only do the 2 items I showed. It cannot do things like injector calibration etc. Of course, this scanner works with pretty much any car unlike the nt530 which is BMW specific.
I haven't used it on a VW, but this scanner shouldn't have any issues resetting the service lights. As far as low tire light, it can reset it, but if the tire is low it will come back as soon as the car does a check.

Thanks for watching! I don't believe you can control solenoids and actuators. You'd need a bi-directional scanner that has actuation testing for each module.
It can’t specifically check if the alternator is good or bad, but if the module on it reports live data, you can see it and it’ll tell you if it’s charging or not. Of course, if it has any codes, you’ll see that as well.

This is from memory, so I might be a off. Go to diagnostics, scan for VIN and then do a quick scan. Then find a module for TPMS (I think it’s RDC something) and you can clear the codes for it there etc.

I have had this scanner for the past few monts. I gotta say I am happy with it. The pro's and cons in my opinion are: Pro's: - easy to update. Update in batches and delete all of the previous data then update (this wil save space on the sd card). - Easy to change language trough foxwell. - Scans almost all modules. - easy to use. - works on most cars (even older vehicles) Cons: - doensnt scan the battery module - cant do an abs bleed (biggest con for me). - the case doesnt have a real hinge. Its just a piece of plastic that is bending. So Im afraid that it wil not hold up over time. Furthermore: the device doesnt fit well in the case.

It will work on your truck as long as it has OBD2 compatibility. I'm not very familiar with diesel trucks, so I can't tell you example what you will be able to see or do but you will get the basics.
i bought the 650 elite model and it would not work on my 2004 duramax. contacted the seller and they confirmed it wont work on my model. my advise, if you buy it make sure you can easily return it.

Sorry, I've never worked on diesels, so i don't know details, BUT if it's a modern car, the modules should be basically the same and this scanner can read all modules. So, as long as the ECM is present, it will read it.
Are you scanning the ABS module? What does it show under the module/read codes? Make sure you aren't just scanner with regular OBD2 protocol and looking at generic codes.

@@scottyrock6184 I haven't used the other ones, but from what I gather, the 624 doesn't have all of the 'special functions' that the 634 does. As an example, you cannot program injectors on the 624, but you CAN on the 634. Then the 614 has even less of the special features. This scanner can read and clear codes on all modules on the car, so it should have no issues clearing ABS codes.

If they fully reset them, I don’t think you can see it with this scanner. It can show you shadow codes, but that’s different.

That sounds very strange, mine had like 16gb of free space. Have you tried updating just a couple makes to see if it's working in general?

Were can you find the TPMS Service? I thought would be under the maintenance.
What are you trying to do exactly? You should be able to go to the tpms module and reset it from there if needed as far as I remember.

How did yours only take 30 min. to update? I have had mine plugged into the computer several hours and still not finished updating.
Not sure, it might depend on how fast your internet is. The longest part was downloading for me and then it was very quick to update.

Sorry, I've never worked on diesels, so i don't know details, BUT if it's a modern car, the modules should be basically the same and this scanner can read all modules. So, as long as the ECM is present, it will read it.
two special functions availble ?
The two special functions are EPB (electronic parking break) and oil reset.
Does anyone know if this has Wi-Fi/Bluetooth? Just wondering if I can email all the diagnostic results to my phone or computer
It does not, you can plug it into the computer or pull the microSD card out and plug it in, though.

Are you scanning the ABS module? What does it show under the module/read codes?
Make sure you aren't just scanner with regular OBD2 protocol and looking at generic codes.
Can I program tbi idle?
Sorry, I'm not familiar with TBI programming. I'd ask the manufacturer on the Amazon page. They respond quick there.
Can it do live wheel speed sensor
This scanner can read pretty much all modules and sensors on the car. I haven't tested the wheel speed sensor specifically.

Thanks for the information on the scanner. I have a 2001E38 BMW and trying to make up my mind on which scanner to buy, the NT614,624, or the 634 and what is the difference other than money. I was also looking in to the Autel MK808. Thanks for your help and or recommendation.
@@scottyrock6184 I haven't used the other ones, but from what I gather, the 624 doesn't have all of the 'special functions' that the 634 does. As an example, you cannot program injectors on the 624, but you CAN on the 634. Then the 614 has even less of the special features. I believe the manual that came had a Spanish section, but I don't remember for sure.

This one does not, if I remember correctly the nt644 has it
