It's a Honda, it's cheap to insure, cheapish to fill up, sub 5.5s 0-60 stock. Alt is the '10-12 TL sh-awd V6 6MT. Honda is 7-10k TL is about 3k more. Look for ones with about 100k that need timing belts to be serviced soon, do it yourself.
Sports car class cars are extremely expensive to insure under 25. Honda slips in as a mom car that's as fast or faster than a lot of similarly priced sports cars. Insurance looks at how similar models are used (crashed). So you want a quick car driven by moms and grandpas exclusively.

It’s due to HDR-Video. Inside the TH-cam app your phone adjusts brightness if an hdr video is recognized. Only some phones support this feature.

Snagged an ecoboost for 24k after taxes and everything like new in the premium trim. Honestly I don’t speed enough to justify a GT. A BOV/ tamed exhaust/ and spider handling is way more fun on the daily for me. I’ll def be building the motor in the future. Unless I end up swapping

Mk3, mk4, mk6, an mk7 gtis are fun, cheap, have a lot of room in em, get good gas mileage, huge aftermarket community for parts. I own a mk6 gti as my first car an i love it
I think a honorable mention can be the Audi s4 350 hp 0-60 4.4 sec with about 2k or even less into the car you can upgrade the car to 500 hp (definitely not the most reliable but it's there for some fun)

You should definitely add C5 Corvettes I got mine for nine grand with 30,000 miles on it and they come stock with 350hp and easy to work on. It makes around 800 hp now.

The ecoboost is a great car to enter into the car world and mod up, the 3.7 v6 from years prior is even better imo (much stronger motor, makes 550+ reliably). But also at 30k I’d honestly go for a early s550 GT. I couldn’t make myself spend 30k on a brand new ecoboost when I could get a GT from 3 years ago for the same price. But in the end they’re All good options and everyone has differing reasons for picking what they do
Mk7 golf r is a good choice. Stock 60 time is 4.5, and with a $400 ecu tune ive done 3.8 seconds

G37s are underrated for half the price
I bought my 2011 m56 for 10k two months ago, I’m getting it tuned soon but online people say it makes almost 400whp and to the crank it makes 420 and 417 lbs ft of torque. 0-60 of 4.4 seconds and is a great daily. Anyways I feel like this car is a hidden gem and it’s a pretty proven engine and trans so not much to hate about it.

Specifically pointing out the absolute goodness you get from a 335is: The N54 engine in it has mad tuning potential all while being super reliable. 500 on stock internals is very possible with that car. These engines were praised and can also be known as the German JZ engines.
As a 335is owner I push 450 to the wheels with just FBO, the n54 can do 700 on stock internals but you will be pushing it a little, I’ve had my IS for over a year and haven’t had any issues other than my water pump, which my car is at 121,000 miles and it’s fairly reliable, I love it and it’s so fun to drive, definitely recommend getting one if you have the chance, the dct is so fun!

cant believe a C6 Vette wasn’t on this list. >4.5 0-60 easily under 30k with good mileage. also a 1st Gen 5.0 (2012-14) will do 0-60 in the 4’s and are also easily under 30k. They’re also more reliable than pretty much everything on this list
2002 corvette Z06 under 30k with a 4.1 sec average 0-60. Chevy claimed 3.9, multiple magazines of the time could not brea 4.0 but great great option
