i've got a line where if it's a mostly harmless company, i don't really care if it's a scam or not. like raid shadow legends, whatever- it's a mobile game, it's not going to hurt anyone, and the content creator needs to eat. but companies like better help, which are now known to prey on vulnerable people, not vet their 'therapists', and not have any data security? that's actively harmful and maybe there's one vulnerable person in your audience who needs help the day you upload your sponsorship, and now you've hurt them, too. even when you're just trying to make your rent, there's got to be a line.

A lot of companies wanna encourage people to have fun with it so it feels natural, but then you get a ton of them who just put on that "sponsor voice" and just read through the script causing the phenomenon where you could edit together a bunch of ads for a product playing simultaneously and have them almost sync up.

Same. Whenever I see that a channel has sold all their dignity and honor to sponsor this scam, I instantly unsubscribe and have to leave a dislike.
Either they have done 0 research whatsoever, which is always a horrible idea....
....or they know what scum it is and lure their own loyal viewers into a literal scam.
The first one is stupid, the second one is stupid and malicious.
People who promote it are part of the problem.
And the argument "but they pay a lot of money" also is irrelevant. If you have to depend on "sponsors" like Raid (Plarium), then you are doing something horribly wrong. Raid doesn't care who you are, they don't even put your name into the copy / paste email. All they want is to abuse your viewership to keep their psychological, abusive wheel spinning. They don't get all the sponsorship money because they made such an amazing "game"....
Raid isn't a "bad game" that you dislike, it literally behaves like a virus. And the people promoting it are the superspreaders.
I have a friend who is a somewhat big TH-camr and the only advise I gave her was: Always do proper research on who your sponsor is.... and if it's Raid, don't even reply.
