My 2018, 17000 mile Himmy is arriving on 4 January! Can't wait, from what I've seen it looks perfect for the crud-coated winter Cornish lanes. Enjoyed your video, hope you've had an excellent Xmas.

I spent a few years living down in Cornwall and think you've brought the perfect tool for the job 😀. Enjoy your new toy! All the best for 2024!

Great to see you hitting the trails. Yes, tyres make a huge difference. Lowering the pressures of the Ceat’s would help to some extent. It sounds like you know what you’re doing anyway 👍🏼 All the best 👋🏼

Nice video, have 2 month old Him411, hoping to do same Salisbury area- question, when muddy, might it not make sense to reduce tyre Pressures.
Am looking for as much green landing as I can find.Yet to see comments on tyre pressures, real8se compromise if on and off tarmac/ soil.
    Cheers

I used to run lower pressures on my dirt bike, but run road pressures on the Himalayan due to the increased weight and fear of damaging the rims.
If you're looking to ride predominantly on trails the best thing to do would be to switch to something more off road biassed. Personally I'm going to wait until the Ceat's are dead and then will go for something more green lane focussed next winter. When the summer gets here and the trails are drier the stock tyres should be absolutely fine 😊

Enjoyed your video! Brave of you to go green laneing on the stock factory tyres. I had a misadventure doing that because, IMO they're shite on slippery grass and mud : th-cam.com/video/JgObSKO8GOI/w-d-xo.html . That's why I've bought myself a set of Mitas E07's before I go sliding down the grass on my arse again! À bientôt !

I'll be sure to check your channel out 😊. I'd be interested to know how you get on with the change of rubber. A future video idea perhaps.....
