    Hi Nicole
    Thanks for revisiting this topic - a great video.
    I do like the further explanation on gently pulling the fabric straight. It makes sense in irder to achieve a much straighter stitch line going past the zipper ends.
    I also noticed that you do not put a staple right on the join but slightly to the side. I have been putting mine on the joins so some of my seams are not always perfectly lined up. Leaving a generous 5/8" at the zip ends is much better.
    Thanks again and hope you're well.
    We had snow in our little village this morning, although the rain has now washed it away. It did look pretty 🙂

      Hi Jay, I'm glad you are picking up on the little things that I may not think to mention specifically in every video! I was recording a new tutorial today and I made sure to point out the specific staple placement after seeing your comment. Thank you for your input and support as always!
      I hope you are keeping well too! We have snow forecast for the weekend all the way south in GA, the area is not used to the cold so it will be interesting to see how everyone copes! The kids are crossing their fingers since it has been a few years since they last saw any, and Logi never has!

    What is the source of the printed fabric? I really like it.

      It’s this one from Michael Miller, but alas mine was scraps from 2021 and it looks like it may be hard to find now. 😞

      Thanks so much! A few people have mentioned the fabric so I did some digging in my old fabric orders and found it is an out of print Michael Miller line, not entirely helpful but at least the mystery is solved! us.amazon.com/Michael-Miller-Mushroom-Stripe-Fabric/dp/B084ML8TCY

    I am a huge fan. I have a question. You do such beautiful skilled work. I do use the tape if I am using dark cotton and vinyl but light colors I do not. Do you think it would yellow over time? Thank you for all your videos.

    • @OKSew474
      @OKSew474  15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you, Priscilla! To be completely honest I do not know the answer to this, but based on my usage I have not found it to be a concern. The places where I mostly use DST would not be seen from the outside of the bag so if it did yellow it would be unnoticeable from the outside.
