Just jumping in at 3:17 and saying how cool it is to find another South African listening to Bloodywood - bonus points for it being the collaboration with Babymetal, :D
Hindi, Japanese AND English! 😁 Bloodywood commented: “‘Bekhauf‘ means ‘fearless’ in Hindi. It was born out of the realization that fear can be seen as a choice, and that choice is our own. It’s about using this knowledge to take control of our fears and eliminate the side of them that holds us back.” It also marks our first ever collaboration. We’ve been waiting to find the right artists to work with and when the possibility of the BABYMETAL collab emerged, we knew it was time. We were all fans of their music, but were still surprised by the level of synergy we managed to achieve on the track. It’s a trilingual song and features English, Hindi. and Japanese, BABYMETAL even sang some parts in Hindi. but we think you can feel the message regardless and that’s a testament to this synergy. The fact that we tied it all together by creating an anime/video game hybrid video pushes everything to the next level. This is a piece of Asian metal history and we’re proud to share it with the world.” 🤘🦊
So the story line is something like mix of our culture specific gods. So here fox god fuses to become samurai version of Lord Ganesha (as per Hinduism lord Ganesha is the remover of obstacles) hence when you have both gods by your side - you are bekhauf (fearless) while fighting Rakshasa
@@phoenixj1299 we (Indian and japanese) both have elephant and fox Gods (my keypad is so western that it's not giving Gods.. it's auto correcting it to God's.. monotheism is pathetic)
The elephant is Lord Ganesha, a revered deity in the Hindu pantheon as well as in some Buddhism traditions (Mahayana, Tibetan, Japanese) so he's quite recognizable (depicted as a warrior with elephant head & multiple arms) across the Asia-Pacific region. With that katana in mind, TH-camrs have quickly nicknamed this animated version as Samurai Ganesha lol.
Insane collab, just what we need to end this year with more hype for the upcoming year.🦊🤘🔥 The elephant head is Ganesha, god of beginning in Hindu myth, there are more references and characters of this myth and i think also Japanese mythology.
I felt kinda nostalgic watching the MV, don't know why, but watching the girls rushing into battle DBZ style was awesome. Also that Blegh at the end just got me, that was like the icing on the cake.
How long has this been going on ? Well, Kobametal of Babymetal has talked about Bloodywood in an interview in 2022 and Bloodywood has in 2023 or earlier as well how much they appreciate each others music. So I've been anticipating it for a while now. 🙂
Su can do anything! Great Video. I loved the animation as well. Awesome collab. Cant wait for the next video, looked like that preview was uki uki, which is one of my favorite old Babymetal songs.
I broke my face when I first listened to this due to the ending BLEGH. The number of songs where I have genuinely said to myself "well, could have ended it on BLEGH, but didn't". This song 100% does not suffer from the malady. Side note, Paypal request sent, Have fun!
This song is the second one of Bloodywood's that I've noticed a very obvious Dragon Ball Z lyric. I think the other was Aaj, where Raul mentions the Kaioken. In this one, in just those few lines, he mentioned Patronas (Harry Potter), Spirit Bomb (DBZ) and the Dark Knight. They're so sick, dude
Bekhauf is sooo good, I discovered bloodywood because of your reacts and I really liked it, this is a perfect feat, a recommendation: Ladybaby - Nippon Manju, i think you'll like it
7:56 - second reactor to notice Su rocking Hindi, *fist-bump* (that I've seen since I started watching reaction vids to the song earlier this afternoon) :)
My guess is a much higher percentage of Bloodywood fans knew about Babymetal than the other way around. So great deal for Bloodywood and kind of as it should be it's a Babymetal feature.
Your experience of Babymetal doing shit with a band you just got into is so relatable. I got back into metal through a lot of these popular bands like Spiritbox, StP, and Bad Omens. Even came across Bloodywood in that time. It was through Electric Callboy I decided to give Babymetal a second chance and then boom, down the fox hole I went. Now I am blessed by the Fox God to witness Babymetal become the champion of this new metal world I discovered.
"Headbangerrrrr!" is what I personally point people to first, then my personal favorite of "MEGITSUNE", then something more recent like "Monochrome", and from there you can go nuts. - signed, a fan of both bands
What @fallingstars5683 said - but look for live versions (Headbanger live at Legend 1997 posted by HEAD123456 - actually from Dec 2013, the lead singers's 16th birthday) Megitsune and Monochrome live at PIA Arena 2023. Have fun.
Babymetal's song "Shanti Shanti Shanti" also has indian vibes, but Megitsune, Karate, Monochrome are favorites....Babymetal has a massive catalog of amazing songs that all sound unique.
Like the two ahead of me said, i recommend megitsune and shanti shanti shanti. But it would me awesome if you listen to headbangeeeer and metali, there are many others but that's with you, hope you like BABYMETAL!!
And another win for Babymetals Collab Workflow. Another 50/50 Collab that is in fact under the same rules as Babymetal collab with F. Hero and Shadowslam. It will move Spotify for some time and some Tickets like for Babymetals European and UK Arena Tours. If they have this in their second workflow their first Workflow should be able to produce some new Songs till May, even if they stream Babynetal into it.
More than three minutes of MV ❓ Nearly four minutes of superhero anime ⭕ This time it’s different from the previous one. This time BabyMetal plays superheroes. But in fact they don't need to act. Because their costumes always look like superheroes.🦊 Thanks for your great reaction.
Karan has a breakdown of the song on his channel th-cam.com/video/3Knd7y_1EgY/w-d-xo.html Already was a Bloodywood fan, saw them in 2023 for the last show of their EU/UK tour, followed 2 weeks later by seeing Babymetal at the Wembley Arena. 2023 was a good year for shows 🙂 Will be seeing them again this year, Bloodywood in Birmingham then London for the last show again, then Babymetal headlining at The O2 Arena a month later 😀
The animation definitely had some Dragonball Z action elements, but more than that I think it reminded me of Samurai Jack done in the style of Avatar the Last Airbender
Since you like DBZ, you _need_ to hear Bloodywood's _Aaj._ You'll understand when you hear it! Link below... Aaj - th-cam.com/video/kgvH6tX4Ej0/w-d-xo.html

"How many BABYMETAL fans are going to get into Bloodywood because of this..."
*raises hand :D
who is not into Bloodywood lives under a stone metalwise ^^

Elephant head God is also a Japanese shinto God.

Better and cooler gods than the enraptured has.😂

Love the fusing of both the music and their cultures. A real treat for metal fans worldwide!! 🤘

Well, this Babymetal fan has been inspired to check out more Bloodywood for sure! Once again a fantastic collab song from the girls 🦊🤘🏻
I'm a fan of both, and I just screamed when I found out they were collabing. The best early Christmas gift ever. I want to see them perform together.
Im a babymetal fan and after this collab i immediately listened to bloodywood and they are amazing. I loved this collab so much
I felt kinda nostalgic watching the MV, don't know why, but watching the girls rushing into battle DBZ style was awesome. Also that Blegh at the end just got me, that was like the icing on the cake.
BabyMetal are the collaboration queens. They do it so well . did you notice BabyMetal turned into a nine tailed fox 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Epic collab, song slaps.
🤘🦊🐘
This was such an amazing collab. One we didn't know we needed
