I think over the past year or so, Alex is becoming one of my top favorite pro players. His game is solid, but it's the man that impresses me the most. Just so real and genuine. Always a gentleman, win or lose. I remember he got emotional during the 2018 Mosconi Cup, and I wanted to be his friend to fist bump him and say "Brother, shake it off. You're one of the best and we all believe in you." I can't explain it. Just love the guy so much. Shane may be the player I damn near idolize (and try to copy more than anyone else), but I was rooting for Alex in this match.

I like him too, but he just doesn't bring it against Shane. I might be wrong, but I don't think he has beaten him heads up yet

@@BaconFrisbee alot of elite pro's respect shanes game hes a deadly player and is almost on deadstroke every tourney he plays in but i noticed theres very few players at his speed that can keep up with him and thats the KO bros and WU JIAQING and dennis orcollo jayson Shaw joshua filler but the players that have a fargo of 770 or higher just cant get around shane

A great example of why defense and safety play is so important. VanBoening won this with exceptional safety play.

Just imagine being up 6-3, confidence is somewhat up, your shot is good, solid break. And then you give up 10 in a row....

The. Game. Is. Too. Easyyyyyy. Let's see the pros be divided by shot making ability vs luck on the break. TIGHTEN THE DAM POCKETS. common sense. Watch earl vs shane on the 10 foot table and tell me it's not a better watch than both guys just being expected to run out every time

More importantly, the pockets are too big and everyone is expected to run out every time...making the game come down to luck on the break instead of shot making ability. Watch any 10 foot table/tight pocket match and tell me it isn't a better watch.

Filler is from germany so prob doesn't make it out to all these u.s. tournaments. Other's actually make a living off pool and this has decent pay out so is great tournament for them and they'll play it time after time. Filler no offense is young enough to that many at his age are still dependent on their parents.

It is an unorthodox and strange stroke that’s definitely not what beginners should be practicing as “good form”. Shane’s stroke is allowed to be criticized. I can criticize it and even then I think it’s one of the most gorgeous stroke’s in cue sports.

I'm a fan of all billiard sports but Pool is not good TV. It takes too long to set the balls up and most of the players are pedestrian.
