    Great match between the two. Carlo definitely showing his cue ball skill around the table. Shane could have gone the same route and break at a much “softer” level. I mean the way he got up and just ran out the 11th rack shows he doesn’t get iced that quick but hey that’s how the story goes. I don’t remember the money matches Shane has against the Filipinos but he can definitely hang. Great match none the less.

    I wish the commentators would use correct terminology. At 35:00 they call the 1-2 shot a carom. It's not--it's a billiard. If the first object ball hits a second, it's a carom; if the cue ball hits the second object ball, it' a billiard.

    SVB no real mistake other then scratching on tough kick/safety shot. Carlo had easy shot missed, but his break is too good that he still won. But Carlo is very very good player. But SVB break work better in some cases like world masters 9 ball where ref breaks. Can't blame Carlo for mastering his break and racking.

    • @mescellaneous
      @mescellaneous 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shane misplay two racks of safety battles if you watch carefully. Both times, Carlo finds the billiard to sink the 3 off the 1, and the 2 off the 1.
      but i guess it's only his break that is "amazing" 🙄

    With a neutral racker, and random patterns every game, in a race to 100 for large sums of cash there is only one person in the world who can compete with Shane, and that is Alex. That is one of the reasons why they regard him as the best player in the world.

    • @raffysungarngar3684
      @raffysungarngar3684 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dennis is the best when it comes to money games. Dennis along with his manager are open if any pool player wants to play cash game. Dennis also bet with his own decent large amount of cash. You can ask pro pool players regarding this matter. This is a known fact. He is at his best when there is a huge amount of money on the line because he knows he has the upper hand and can handle the pressure of the money game very well which is the downside of a lot of pro pool player when playing in a money game with huge cash on the line

    • @BladeRunner-td8be
      @BladeRunner-td8be 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's probably obnoxious to Carlo as well but if it keeps him at the table shooting after the break.........Rick Barry rated #7 on the highest percentage of free throws made in the Pro's shot what is known as the "granny" , underhanded and with both arms. Many top pro's who had like 50 percent average at the foul line wouldn't use that style of shooting because of what they sensed it would do to their reputation I guess. lol Winning is more important than what you look like out there performing.and this goes for the break in pool as well.
