E13 Revealing and repairing lime walls (in a 100 year old school)

I am restoring two rooms and a bathroom to its former glory from the 1920s of my old school in Sweden. The walls that I have uncovered needs a lot of repairing and I have also changed the layout of these rooms as they will be a seperate rental unit apart from my home.
I am repairing the walls in this vlog mainly to make the walls even and not to loose their structual ability (to prevent more lime render and mortar to loosen)
Next job will be to insulate the walls and build new layers of lime plaster on top of this to match the internal walls. And I also have the floors and ceiling to restore, so stay tuned, a lot of things will happen this summer.

It looks wonderful, it is such a sympathetic restoration. Your plaster trowel is very interesting as I have not seen a trowel that shape here in the U.S. The construction techniques used to construct your home are very interesting and enjoyable.

Hi, How did you mixed the lime?

I used a cement mixer that I bought cheap second hand. It mixed 20 min. Before I used to use a handheld mixer but it was quite tough for my back. The water/lime ratio was defined on the package, somewhere between 4,3-4,8 l per 25 kg bag depending on the NHL (hardness of the lime).
