Very much agree .. in my previous comment I mentioned the city I was in when Rangeela was released was Ahmedabad which was known to have almost 100 movie theatres at one time in the 90s but only one nearest to where I was had DTS / DD certified ... and by the time Dil Se was released almost 50% where digitised
Great AR Rahman..Asha Bonsle can't be compared with anyone...she didn't get the recognition and appreciation for what she deserves..Such an iconic singer..May she lives a long and healthy life...A R Rahmam started his journey from Rangeela in 1995 till today he is a force reckon with in Bollywood and his journey as a full fledged Musician in Tamil started in 1992 and still.he is on the top
He assisted many leading musicians in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam from the age of 11 so his journey started from 1977 to till date going strong...He made us proud globally with his innovative and state of the art music with every updated nuances in his modern music...Long live ARR.

Yes, Sadly Bollywood killed Indian pop culture. Some independent artist and grups like Lucky Ali, Palash Sen, Band of boys and many more were producing gem of songs , album's, cassettes.. sadly music companies like T series, Zee music and co. etc took charge and are is busy in hiring, remaking and ruining the music.

The movie created a revolution in Indian film music. Especially Tanha Tanha song... Asha Ji voice melts and bents to the music and Urmila s dance. Missing Swarnalatha who sung Hai ram song. I was studying 11th STD when the movie released. I still remember the shows which I watched... Starting from Elders to kids enjoyed the film... I grown listening Rahman’s music... one of the youthful movie

@@elbinp Yeah! That base rhythm is almost same. Can that be called a copy? However, love the way Rahman crafted the entire song, the singing, beats, evrything... Even after so many years I use this song to check my speaker quality... 🥰
@@d_music Actually for few songs in 90s, ARR used the Sampled Beats available at that time, like Mangta hai kyaa, and few songs in films like Mr. Romeo, Jeans etc.. and he used them in such a beautiful and creative way that the Songs are the BEST anyone can compose using these beats. Few Music directors later used same beats for their songs, but I didn't find them appealing at all.

As A Tamilian, Despite I Didn't Know A Single Word In Hindi, A 7 Year Old Me Went Mad At A Hindi Musical Album When There Was Not Much Sources To Listen Those Songs. Gave My Mom Two Choices, Either To Take Me To RANGEELA Movie Or Buy Me A Tape Recorder And RANGEELA Audio Cassette. It Has Been 2 And A Half Decades When ARR Made His Hindi Debut With A Bang, But Still The Album Is An Irreplaceable Masterpiece. Long Live ARR,😍😍
